Enzo's nap was rudely interrupted by sudden vines shooting under his legs to send his chair tipping backward, and millimeters from his face to slash his book away. He landed against a knot of roots, and scrambled upright with a startled yelp.

"The Jackin'-" He started, but as his classmates flailed against the monster plant's branches he drew in a sharp breath before putting his fingers to his mouth in a shrill whistle.

Immediately, his massive upright bass crashed through their study room door, giving a few deep thrums like an excited junkyard dog. He wasted little time snatching it by the neck, his fingers dancing urgently as he tripped and danced around the flailing vines.

"Ba-da-da-da-da..." His nervousness leaked out in an anxious scat along the notes that reached down the hall to the vermin deep in the walls and plumbing of the school, the air-duct above the plant suddenly creaking before a torrent of rats cascaded down on top of the beast.

Stay behind, that he could do. Free, Andrew scrambled behind the ghoul and backed into the wall, tail leaving scorch marks from where he pressed against it. His arm ached where the plant monster had grabbed it and his knees didn’t seem to want to support him. He leaned against the wall, face scrunched up in pain. He had dropped the eye-phone onto the ground, ripping the ear bud out. The phone could die for all he cared at the moment. His attention was taken up by the monster, and the throbbing pain in his arm. Where had it even come from?

His shoulders shook, and he stayed where he was, more interested in defending himself than in fighting the Jacken thing. Wait was that blood? Oh jack he was bleeding. @.@ His knees did give out and he stayed glued to the wall.

And then there were rats everywhere.

“Keep them away from me!” Fireballs got thrown, well mostly at the monster.
and they mostly hit. One of the books on the table might now be on fire too, oops.

Amphi had the monster's attention now, so long as it focused on her and not the first years, she could handle.

She didn't have to know Andrew dipped behind her, only by the scraping of his body against objects did she know that he was out harms way.

She didn't even flinch at the sight of rats, seriously. This was nothing to a third year who witnessed islands blow up, suffered through hunter torture and still managed to be a semi-normal Student.

"No...no!" Amphi smacked the vines away from playing with whatever they were playing with. Amphi didn't have squishy things or bouncing things.

(but she really did and doesn't apperciate the vines getting action)

She was covering herself diligently and making a lot of: Q////A/////Q faces. how was she suppose to protect her Kouhais!

While everyone was off cowering or fighting, TG was under the table trying to get away from a root. When he found enough space, he dashed under another chair and to the group, trying to squeeze between the legs. "Someone get a hedge clipper!"

Alas, for the students, there were no hedge clippers, and fireballs went ignored. The plant, for being a plant, didn't seem to mind fire much. Rat it did seem to mind, at least a little bit as it attempted to swat the source.

The others were faring well against the plant beast, Fi turned into a bit of a tank, but when the teacher came in and shut the book, he could not have felt more relived.

Andrew curled up in a ball pulling his knees to his chest. He was done, Jack this. His arm hurt and there was blood and Jack this. His shoulders shook as he buried his face into his arms, creating a small nest of heat. Good bye world, just leave without him. He was done.

Anyone who tried to touch him would get a hiss and possibly a nasty burn from his tail.

Enzo was sent tumbling back from the creature's blow, landing with a crash and tangle with his instrument. By the time he had managed to right the heavy bass, their teacher had thankfully returned and fixed the situation.

He snorted. "And they give me detention for just a little scuffle," He snorted, grunted as he hauled himself to his feet using the Boss to lean on before brushing himself off.

"Later, cats, it's been swell," He gave the others a small salute before slouching toward the door. As he passed by Amphi, he gave her rear a good firm pat, "You did good, Pidge! Thanks a bunch. Banks always open here." A wink, a nod, and he was out the door, a trail of mesmerized and slightly concussed rats wobbling after him.

AJ couldn't believe it ended so fast, when Selene dismissed the class. Why was she carried by another man? He didn't feel the plant monster was dangerous at all, but well, he didn't want to see Andrew got hurt, just want to see him being funny will do. He raised up his arms and stretched himself while his nails changed back to normal. It was bad when he just ready to fight, maybe he would go to the Haunted House to find someone to spar. There was an urge.

"Thank you Senpai~" A smile was given to the mermaid, but he didn't mentioned anything at all. The bad touch from Enzo was not cared at all, either the rats and such. It was not of his concern.

"It was of much fun, hope to see you all later." He waved and grinned to the rest. The head was falling asleep again, nothing here could raise its interest.
