Gabby was less confused and more this thing must die now when the giant seal decided the smallest, least-offensive person in the room (sorry Marzie you're still glaring, that counts) was the one to attack. He jumped up on the table and tried to punch the damn thing, then put both hands on it and continued to shove.

"Jack dammit." Marzena said shortly, moving forward to try and yank Sibyl away from the elephant seal. When that proved to be quite a difficult task, even with Gabriel helping, she decided that it was probably wise to change tactics.
She aimed a kick at the chair that was between the smaller ghoul and the seal itself. Hopefully, the leverage would help to get this huge weight off.

"What is.." Selene opened the door, looking in on the first group, only to see that one of them was being sat on by a book monster and the others were barely - barely! managing to do any good against it. She frowned, as Ren carried her into the room. She squirmed out of his arms and managed to hobble her way over to the book that had summoned the great beast. "Your last lesson for today, scarelings, is very simple, and I hope you will remember it. If you accidentally manage to summon a monster from a book, and you can't fight it..?" Her hand slid under the cover of the Selkie book, flicked it up, and slammed it shut. "Close the book."She crawled back up into Ren's arms and was transported off to the other rooms after the selkie monster popped out of existence. "Class dismissed." Quote: Class is over for you now! Fear flared up around Sammy's left fist, purple fire rolling from knuckle to shoulder as she readied a blow that would knock the creature clean off Sybil. She was so ready. So pumped.
Then Selene closed the book.
Just like that it was over and Sammy was left standing fist pulled back ready to gut punch the Walrus before she let out a whine of frustation, "We could have so taken that thing!"

A dull purple blush bloomed on Siddie's cheeks. That was so simple, and yet none of them had thought of it. She brushed her skirts down, remembered she was dripping wet from the seal's arrival, and scowled. Book monsters. How embarrassing.
"I think we should have cookies," she said. "I made a batch earlier." Because bribery was so much more effective when you had the bribe in question readily available.

"Ugh." Marzena muttered distastefully, wishing that she had thought of that simple solution sooner. At least they hadn't needed to fight the seal further though. Her hand was still firmly clenched around Sibyl's arm, as if someone else would attempt to make her a seal pancake yet again. "At least everyone is alright." She mumbled. "You okay, Sibyl?"
Cookies would probably make Sibyl happy, she mused. Marzena however, was more keen on skulking off since the class was now officially declared over.

Just when all hope seemed lost and Sibyl was ready to give up on life (no, not really) Miss Selene saved the day! Of course now she was all wet again when she had been almost dry but whatever. She'd live. It'd be okay. Sibyl didn't mind being a little wet. But the day was saved thanks to the power puff girls Professor Selene! Sibyl got up again with Marzena's help, not at all bothered by the tight grasp on her arm. Marzena did it sometimes, it was her way of keeping Sibyl close and making sure she was safe. Marzie showed her love in strange ways but Sibyl knew she loved her. "Spookies?!" Attack? What attack? That was completely normal. Seals popped out of books every day! Sibyl freed her arm from Marzena's hold on it and scrambled around to climb on the older Selkie's back, a pretty sneaky way of guaranteeing the ghoul must stay. She thought of it on purpose! Sibyl was a genius! Mawahaha! Marzie had to be social now! "I want spookies! Lets go lets goooooo~!" Miss Siddie was so nice to offer them spookies! Was she right though? Would they really have to write a book report about this?
...What was a book report? Sibyl had never done one before. Did you talk about your book? Was it bad? Was it good? She didn't quite understand. Maybe Miss Siddie and Marzie could explain it to her. Gabby didn't want to do one and Miss Sammy didn't seem to want to do one either...maybe it was bad. Oh dear...

"Sibyl." Marzena groaned. Despite her seeming reluctance, she still hefted the smaller ghoul up easily into a piggyback ride. It wasn't the first time she had done so, not only for Sibyl, but her younger siblings as well. Back then, her youngest brother, Damian, had yanked on her hair as if they were reins, which had made some of her sisters follow suit.
She looked at Siddie questioningly. "Well, uh... lead the way?" Sibyl would probably get distracted by cookies once they got there.
Yeah, Marzena was still attempting to plot a chance to escape.
