"Yes, really!" Lizzy couldn't help giggling at Jericho's disbelief regarding his own diet. Well, his past diet, but she figured that he probably still enjoyed eating the same things; maybe it would be best to just show him, instead of trying to describe flaming batwings to him. Taking him by the arm, she begun pulling him towards the pathway, "Come on! Let's get you some flaming batwings."

"Alright," he replied while he was being pulled along on the path. Well, he supposed he was going to find out soon enough if he could take the heat of the flaming batwings. He just really hoped this wasn't some sort of cruel joke to make him burn his mouth trying to eat these things.
Lizzy seemed pretty nice though, so he had his doubts.
But what if she was some master of deception!?

Lizzy continued tugging and pulling him down the path, out the school, and to the cafe they visited once upon a time. She couldn't remember what she ordered back then, but she remembered the flaming batwings... It was just difficult to forget a food was was served while it was still on fire.
Once they were seated, she did not hesitate to place an order for the flaming batwings, as well as two glasses of water - just in case Jericho came back as a non-fire-eating dragon.
"Nervous?"

They were at the cafe in the mall, and pretty soon, he had an order of flaming batwings. Taking a deep breath, he stared at the flaming food, wondering if this was really a good idea. Though, Lizzy's words caught his attention. "Huh? Nervous? Naaaah," he said dismissively, then stared at the food some more. Well. Here went nothing. He quickly grabbed a wing and chomped down onto it, closing his eyes tightly as he expected his mouth to be set ablaze. It was hot for sure but... it was kinda a nice tingle. Rather than painful.

"So...?" Lizzy stared expectantly at Jericho, leaning forward over the table; she was expecting some sort of exaggerated outward expression, but... There was nothing. She couldn't tell if he was expreriencing pain or pleasure.
Or maybe both.

Opening his eyes, Jericho blinked and pulled the bat wing out. or rather, pulled the bone out. He had cleaned it of its meat. "That was... pretty good actually. Spicy. But... it was good!" he grinned. The dragon them promptly went on and continued to eat the batwings.

Lizzy sighed in relief, her lips splitting into a grin as she leaned against the back of her seat; to be honest, she wasn't really confident that Jericho would like the flaming bat wings.
"Great! They're my treat~" She nodded, "You know what else we used to do together? The scarcade, and then eyecream!"

"Aw, you don't need to. I can pay you back. I have the money! At.. at least I think I do," Jericho said while furrowing his brow at the thought. Riley was the one who was buying most of the things for him as of late. He needed to dig around to see what personal funds he had. But that thought was shoved aside as Lizzy mentioned something else. "Scarecade... video games?" he repeated. He seemed rather intrigued at the idea. The dragon hadn't played anything of the sort since his awakening as an elf, but the idea did appeal to him. Those things were supposed to be fun anyway, right?

"You have a personal treasure trove," Lizzy pointed out, smiling sheepishly, "I'm sure you can figure something out... But this is my treat. Take it as a welcome back gift!"
She nodded, her grin widening as she practically beamed, "Yup! You were pretty good at them, but I've won a few times when playing against you... In fact, you had to get me something from the UFO machine when you lost the last time." She seemed pretty proud about that.

"Really, huh? I wonder if I'd still be any good at them," Jericho mused while looking at his hands. Would he still have that skill or was it lost like a number of other things? It was hard to say. "Well, only one way to find out then. Let's go to the scarecade!"He was done eating after all.

"Let's up the stakes... If I win, you have to get me another plushie from the UFO machine. If you win, I... Uh, we'll think of something, I'm sure," Lizzy giggled, paying for the flaming bat wings before heading out the door with Jericho in tow; she was surprisingly excited to be dragging him around, "Oh! Oh oh oh. Let me show you something."
Taking out her eyephone, she fiddled with it for a while before turning the screen towards the boil, "We took this photo after our scarecade trip! The plushie on your head is Rain-kins, and the plushie I have is Bow-kins... Actually, Rain-kins should be with you."

"A competition eh? Well hopefully I can pull through this time," he said with a smile. The idea of a friendly competition sounded pretty good to him. There was a wager to it too, that helped with its appeal.
"Oh hey... I do recognize that plush," he noted while looking at the picture. Jericho wasn't aware that it had a name though.
..
Did he name them?
The names were... kind of lame.

Lizzy thought that those names were beautiful.
"It was obtained from our outing," She clarified with a nod, "Tell me if you come up with something you want from our little bet."

Nodding at that, Jericho took a moment to try and think about what Lizzy should give up or do in the case that he won. "If... I win, you get me a steak," he said with another nod. Yes. That sounded pretty fair to him, he figured. "Deal?"

"Deal," Lizzy agreed; she would ask him what sort of steak he wanted, but that would be like she was prepared to lose... Which she wasn't, since she should technically be better than Jericho at video games at this point in time.
"Let's start with a shooter-type game?" She suggested as they neared their destination. Immediately after she pushed the scarecade doors open, loud music and sounds flooded out, causing her to raise her voice in order to be heard, "Do you know how it works?"
