Sleeping in someone's sons bed. Luna hoped their son would not mind this nice action. "I must thank you and your son then for allowing me to rest." he said, glancing at where they were going. Towards more trees. Did every creature in this new land live in trees? Such strange creatures. Surly there were others with actual houses or castles somewhere in this land.

"Junior moved out a long time ago." She smiled, it didn't touch her eyes. She missed her family greatly. That wouldn't change anything though. You could miss all you want and be miserable, or you could act and get things back.
"Here we are." This time her smile was genuine. The demon reached for a low hanging branch that acted as a trigger to her home. With some magic, a way into the upper levels of the tree was revealed as a set of branches forming trees. "After you sir." Starry offered, standing back for him to ascend.

"Ah, then the thanks goes to just you." he said, watching her as she worked, pulling down a low hanging branch and suddenly a path was revealed up into her home. "Curious. This land is strange indeed." he said, starting to ascend up the tree but paused to give her a strange glance. Sir? Why did she just call him sir? .... oh wait, thats right, male body. He shrugged, hoping after a nice rest, this spell would wear off soon. Once to the top, he paused, not wanting to just snoop around her home. He waited for Starry to ascend as well so that she could lead the way.

Starry nodded, closing her eyes. "This land is full of magic. It's just knowing and learning how to access it." She nodded. She couldn't personally remember how she had stumbled across this tree, but the magic in it was no less real than that that let her create the nighttime sky overhead.
"This way then." Starry grinned, fluttering her wings as the first step was a bit of a leap usually, but for some reason, the stairs had extended down a bit further than usual. She was a little shocked. Maybe the magic in this tree was ever changing? It wasn't the first time, the tree had extended the staircase branches, but it was the first that it happened for no reason she could see.
Her head tilted, she shrugged, and walked up. "The spare bed is over here." She grinned, pointing to an entirely flat area housing what appeared to be some really soft pillows and blankets. Sure, she lived in a tree, but she didn't have to be uncomfortable.

Luna eyed Starry as she fluttered up the top step before glancing down and stepping up herself....himself. He didn't know the history with the stare case so thought it a quirk of this pae. She kept intriguing him by the moment. "Indeed it seems to be full of magic....and yet I still find my powers.. lessened." he mused a loud to himself. Clearly this still bothered him and was quite the adjustment. But at least he still had something, right?
Following her gaze towards the spare bed, a small smile tugged at the corner of his lips. Those pillows looked real soft indeed and just their sight made a short yawn escape his lips. "Thank you again. I guess I need to realize sooner when I need to rest.... I am not used to powers draining my energy." he admitted quietly before going over to the pillows and blankets and positioning them just so to sit down comfortably.

"You're not the only one with weaker powers Luna." Starry nodded to herself. It was saddening. But there wasn't much she could do about it right now. It took her a minute to realize he wasn't used to weakened powers.
Starry smiled, leaning against the bark of the tree. "It takes time to get used to something new. Rest well, I'll have breakfast ready for you when you wake." Her motherly instincts taking over. She was silently thanking the guardians that she'd gone foraging today. She would have to fish later to get some form of meat, but fruit were great breakfasts.
"There are blankets just off to the side of you if you get cold. Please feel free to use them."

Luna nodded and did his best to offer a smile before looking over at the blankets. He nodded and took. "Thank you again." he said before laying down and getting comfortable. For a brief moment he felt strange, sleeping in yet another strange place and with someone else there but the unrealized exhaustion from trying to over use his powers finally took over and drifted him off to dream land.
When Luna awoke, she felt rested and better than ever. She didn't know how long it had been that she had slept and so she stood up with a slight stretch and a yawn and peered around for Starry. Taking it upon herself this time to just show her self around, she peered about, following the scent of food. Something smelled delicious and she had to admit that her hunger needed to be satisfied. "Starry?" she called out, not noticing her voice was now more feminine and her body had reverted back to normal.

Starry had gotten up early, not that she had needed to, as Luna had slept so soundly and long. The red headed female hummed to herself. She'd spent the better part of the morning slicing various fruits she'd gotten recently onto dishes to be eaten.
Starry had even cut some of the seasonal fruit into shapes. It had been so very long since she'd made breakfast for anyone. She grinned, finally finishing when her name was called. Luna must be up.
"I'm in the kitchen~" She called. The demon hadn't even noticed the feminine voice that had called her. Or maybe she did and didn't care at all. She did feel a bit like an old woman when she looked at men younger than her, it might have been a relief for Luna to have reverted to her original form. Either way, Starry made no reaction to Luna's apparent change.

The Princess walked into the kitchen, spotting Starry cutting fruits and various fruit shapes. Luna hadn't seen anything quite like it since she arrived and this intrigued her. She also briefly wondered if anyone had missed her or how long she had slept. Surely her sister perhaps.. if she hadn't had her hands full already.
"They smell delightful. Did you cut them yourself?" she asked curiously, looking around the small kitchen. It was a far stretch from her sisters palace or her own place, but it felt....welcoming and home-like all the same. She half wondered if all the ponies had cut their fruit into shapes and things like this.

Starry smiled, holding up the knife she had been using to slice up the fruit. "Living alone has its perks. It's all fresh, dig in. Please." As if to prove her point, Starry popped an apple bunny into her mouth and proceeded to chew.
She knew her kitchen was posh by her son's standards, but she'd always made good food for her entire family out of it. "Do you mind if I ask you a couple of questions?" Starry tilted her head, curious if all hooved pae came from the same place or if they were wandering about the isle as lost souls.

Luna picked up an apple cut into the shape of a feline before inspecting it and then tentatively popping it into her mouth to chew. After deducing it wasn't poisoned but in fact as sweet as it smelled, she tilted her head at Starry questioning. "Sure, I do not see what harm could come of that though I can't promise to have all the answers." She wondered if Starry had forgotten that Luna was still new here as well and still knew very little about this new land. If she wanted to ask about her old homeland, than Luna could spew a river of answers easily, though if not a little bit.. biassed.

Starry grinned. "Where is your homeland?" The demon asked, curious. "Do you come from this isle, or is there another place your kind come from?" Her head tilted, picking up another apple.
"It's not often I get visitors, much less hooved visitors. Do all of you have wings?" Her head straightened up. It was almost as exciting as the night before in just meeting her. The fact that there are two pae that could create illusions of the night sky.. She couldn't believe it. Everything was overwhelming now she actually thought about it.

The Princess looked shocked for a moment that those were the questions she wanted to ask, before a bit of pride swelled in her eyes. "We came from Equestria, a land far from here, but our home was...destroyed. Along with the ponies that would not leave...." she said and paused with a sigh. She had been one that didn't want to leave at first.... everything she knew and loved, just left behind. She had wanted to find someway to fight.... but in the end her sister was right to bring them back here. Especially now considering...
She regained herself and looked back at Starry. "No, not all have wings. Only Alicorns and Pegasus's have wings. Unicorns have horns though."[ /b] she nodded and pointed at her horn. "The faun here with their....antlers and cloven hooves... took a while to get used to seeing." she admitted softly. Back home, it was easy to tell one pony from the other, horns and wings almost making them special in a way...but here...everyone had 'horns' with fruit and leaves on them no less.
