Okay: This is the "Free Scavenging Period" of the game. Each player has 2 hours to find some resources. You can choose to search for money and gas; or spend both hours searching for food etc. etc.

EXAMPLE:

Liona spends one hour searching for a Muffler.
Liona spends one hour searching for Medkits.

You can now make your starting post and do the following:

1. Introduce your character
2. Speak to other characters
3. Declare what you intend to search for.

There is a table on the main thread that states how many resources you will acquire per hour. After you have declared what you are searching for, I will update the team inventory and once ALL FIVE players have finished their searching, the journey will begin and the timer will start. Meaning you guys will have to haul a** out of D.C. at that point.

Yes, sorry I should've been more clear. Your introductory post is the Introduction to the "readers" etc., so you will post your intro including your character's initial thoughts, an indication towards their class (mechanic, priest etc.), optional mention of a group member that they care about directly or indirectly and finally what they intend to do with their 2 hours before they take off (scavenging for X Supplies).

Michael wiped the sweat from his brow as he finished the last tuneups on the dusty old station wagon, looking out the hazy window of the garage at the chaos outside. He wondered how Liona was doing, as she had the rough task of attempting to find food for the group while all the other looters and worse... roamed the streets. He knew they would run into a lot of debris on the road and so he was determined to find two working spare tires before the group departed.

Your characters are all already introduced to one another and you have decided to work together and travel together in the station wagon.

As far as how long you have known each other, that is up to you. Some characters may have been friends or associated prior to the outbreak, etc. but please mention this in your introductory post if you choose to do so, also let the other player you are associating with know this as well.

Where you choose to be starting out at WITHIN Washington D.C. is up to you. I am fine with it being Michael's garage assuming the rest of the group is alright as well.
