He wasn't sure what else he could or should say. Mei was sweet despite the fact she generally seemed determined to do just about anything to go against Az's wishes. It didn't help that she was one of the few girls he noticed during classes because of how outspoken she was and her skin tight bodysuits.
"So, any special plans the first week of school?" He said trying to change the subject rather than dwell on the cute girl sitting next to him.

"Sorry. I didn't mean to upset or embarrass you. I was just trying to say I saw you as one of the good guys. If you don't want to be one of the good guys, that is your business. Sorry. I wasn't trying to offend you." Mei apologized.

"No. Mei. That's not it. I just... Well... Its just that you... And me... And... I don't want to... But... I do want to... And they will kill me." Levi stammered as he was unsure of what to say.
How could he tell her how he felt? But Az and Abaddon and Ashtoreth would kill him if he did. He was just happy she was talking to him, and somehow he had to even mess that up. He needed to just pay for the Chinese food and go. He couldn't mess this up any worse than he already had.

"Wait..." Mei said as it finally clicked.
She took a moment to let it sink in.
"You like me? And you liking me means your life is now at stake?" Mei asked, "I don't know what to say..."
Mei wasn't sure how she felt about this right now. She was flattered, but she was still wounded by what Abaddon said and did. It was overwhelming and scary. Levi? How could Levi even be interested? They had barely spoken before today. How could that even remotely attract him?

Levi wasn't sure what to say or what to do. He had botched this and he hadn't even officially made a play for Mei.
"Sorry. Forget I said anything." Levi said as he hung his head.
'Great. Now she will never talk to me again after this. Why do I have to mess everything up? I shouldn't have said anything.' Levi thought as he practically stared a hole into the rooftop's grass.

Mei didn't know what to say.
'Oh great. I hurt his feelings. He was just nervous. Why are boys so bizarre? This is driving me crazy. What should I do? What should I do? I don't want to drive him away, but I don't want to get tangled up in anything right now. What do I do?' She thought.
Then it came to her, and it wasn't the best answer, but it wasn't the worst either.
She put her hand on his and leaned in and kissed him on the cheek to show she was flattered without saying something else that was insulting and without compromising her integrity right now due to her unstable emotions.

Had things finally made a turn for the better? Levi didn't know if this was the right thing to do, but he decided to see if he could do the unthinkable.
He pulled away and then went in for a real kiss.

He pressed his lips against hers as gently as he could. Maybe Mica's tricking him into having dinner with Mei was working out for the best.

Mei failed to escape the kiss and was surprised but she gave in and kissed back. It was nice being wanted. Yes this was too fast, but it beat being lonely. She wasn't going to use Levi just to fill the hole in her chest right now. She was just going to enjoy this moment and sort out the rest later. She was too young to plan out her whole life and every romance. Plus Abaddon had a date tonight, so who did it hurt if this is what Levi wanted too right now?

Mica walked up to the roof and walked surveying the future scene of his party. That is when he noticed Mei and Levi with lips locked. He didn't know how best to react to that and figured noone else needed to know so he shut the door behind him. He then made his presence known. "Ahem... Hi so yeah I'm going to go set these down and pretend I didn't see that ok?...Ok." He said and walked away from the door hoping if Tayla followed she didn't see any of that. Otherwise Ashteroth might be told of said encounter.
And time will tell there is this Pedigree

Levi heard Mica in the background but didn't even flinch. He had this feeling in his heart like he was a hero. Like he was somebody. This was the first moment he liked attending this school and he was not going to ruin it by reacting poorly. Instead after Mei pulled away he just looked at Mica and nodded and tried to hide how cocky he felt right now.

She pulled away from Levi but wasn't sure how to proceed. She wanted to shoot him but knew Mica getting shot twice in one day would be suspicious.
Mei's cheeks blushed and she didn't say a word. Instead she shot Mica a glare that said one word being said about this to anyone would mean the end of his life.

"Relax I'm not going to blab about anything, it's not like you both don't have blackmail material on me or will have by the end of this year." He said setting down the sodas on the table and the bag of chips. "So I was thinking after dinner we invite some of the other students up here for a game night and maybe karaoke if I can get my machine for the ipod working and such."
