Pouting like a child, Eva lifted her hands to cover her nose, shooting Lex a mock glare. "Hey hey, don't treat me like a kid!" She reached out to return the nose-flick, and then leaned back and grinned, her shoulders relaxing. "Aw--thanks, big bro, I'll definitely keep that in mind!"
She leaned forward to hug him, only to pause when he request that she text first. Why--oh. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Leaning back, Eva gave him a wink and a grin.
"Gotcha. ...But wouldn't you prefer if I didn't potentially interrupt you with a text then? What if I just snuck by quietly and listened atthe door for a sec?"

Rubbing his own nose with a smile, Lex just shook his head at Eva. Oh, what it would be like to have innocence again. But there was that pesky addition of innocence's annoying little brother, naivety. Lex didn't want any part in that at all.
"Eva, that would look really creepy. A text is fine - it won't take more than five seconds to respond." He was speaking more like a big brother, reaching over to ruffle her dark hair.
"So...wanna learn how to make icecream?" He asked, reaching over for another cookie.

"Ahaha, would it be?" Looking sheepish, Eva leaned back and grinned, rubbing the back of her head. Well, when she thought about it...yeah, maybe it would be pretty creepy. That, and it wasn't as if she actually wanted to, er, listen in on...anything.
That would be doubly creepy.
Deciding that Lex was right, she responded to his hair ruffle with a playful pout, her lips immediately splitting into a grin at the offer. Bouncing up and down like a child, she flopped forward and wrapped her arms around her big bro's neck, pressing her cheek against his. "Yes! And maybe you could teach me to make dishes too after, like different kinds of pasta, and rice, and..."
It was going to be a long day.
