"Nice." Bix jogged forward, steadied the dummy, and then waved for her to continue. "Again." Only he didn't move away. He still stood slightly behind the dummy. With his FEAR sheild he was confident he'd be okay but it would be part of the exercise. Hit the enemy, not the team mate.

"Great." So she could sort of hit a bobbing target, definitely hit a still target.

"Again. One more time." He waited though, until she was about to fire, and then jumped in front of the dummy. Could she hit him? He was confident Mina would keep him safe, and oddly enough never forgot that first intro course with Aria where she stabbed Gale in the neck with a knife.

He'd be fine with some glowy arrows.

"Just testing!" Bix laughed. "You never know what's going to happen or who you need to attack. Plus shooting at a dummy is nothing like shooting at a bloodthirsty monster." He made a 'monster' face which was basically him sticking out his tongue and waggling his hands like a creeper.

"Did you get the FEAR sheild demonstration? Where the division lead stabs your friend in the neck to prove they will be okay?" If not, he'd demonstrate. he pulled a pocket knife from his pants, stabbed it through his hand, waggled it around, and pulled it back out again. "See?"

"It's no biggie!" He held up his hand, no wound. He was also still holding the knife and ever so casually approaching her. "See? FEAR sheild. You can thank the weapon for that. Something like this isn't a big thing."

He was back near her again and held his hand out for her to touch. "See? You wanna try?"

Thankfully he wasn't so crazy to just stab her. Unless she wanted it.

"Eh? Really?" He looked really surprised. "It's kinda coooool?" He slowly stabbed himself in the gut and withdrew the knife. "It feels funnny!"

She didn't look like she was buying it so he finally flipped the knife closed and popped it back in the pocket. "Well mostly the point of that though, is that your weapon can cover you really well for damage. When your FEAR sheild finally breaks, it's just that squishy pink flesh between you and death." He poked her arm skin. "So be really careful. I'd suggest training your body as well as technique. Running, weightlifting.. watching Robin Hood movies and The Avengers.." Bix grinned.

His mood got more serious though. "And I jumped in front of the arrow because.. well.. sometimes we have to shoot our comrades too. They get possessed or turn into monsters or.." It happened more often than not honestly. "Our policy is put them down. If you were corrupted, you wouldn't want to live like that either." Way to be grim Bix. He did change mood pretty swiftly though and bounced, "Good news is.. most of them time it ends up fine in the end!"

"Am I freaking you out?" Bix frowned and suddenly felt bad. "I just.. I want you to know what kinda of crap we get up against. Because my group wasn't prepared for it. And then it was follow orders or follow your friends. Or kill things you don't want to.. or capture things you don't want to.. or.. befriending Halloweeners.." He put his hand to his face and shook his head.

"I just want you to be ready. As well as a good archer." Arm punch biggrin

"Yeah I guess it was a little drastic.." Bix grinned sheepishly, "But better you see it than flinch mid-fight because you got stabbed and.. well.." It was always a bit of a surprise and Bix didn't know Heidi well enough yet to see if she could just flow in the tide of a fight.

"Tips.. ok yeah.. Aim, then firing on the run, and if you can't manage that I'd say work on your stealth so you can sneak around and snipe..." Bix continued, she wouldn't be rid of him that fast, but at least for the rest of their pow-wow he'd be helping with archery.
