He paused and rolled his eyes to the right corner of his vision, his head leaned a bit backward. The baku didn't know she leaned forward when she insisted on his health, a bit too close. He was used to lean forward to someone, but not the other way round. Shishou didn't tell him anything when ghouls take their moves first, she was an exception. "I-I promise." To end this now. He won't tell Xiu that he was thinking of a pink cute hamster that puff its little cheek or.....



He made an no-obvious sigh when the baku relaxed and leaned backward unconsciously. "That sounds like a good plan. But, I don't know any good restaurant around the town? Futher, I am doing two part-time already.....thanks to Bro." There was a moment of silence. The baku was nice and giving him some suggestions, but it just didn't fit his situation - have a big appetite better half. To kill the dead air, "Maybe I could sneak some when you cook, like a taster, hehe.", he made the joke.

"Sure dear!" There went the permission as he moved aside. "H-How is it?" He was a bit nervous since it was his first time. There was a moment of silence.

The big smile and reply made the boil blushed. "Not at all. S-So what's next?" With an obscure red on his face, he rubbed his nose. "AJ, you got a fever?" Asked the innocent head.

"Oh that's very nice of you to do so! I am actually free anytime, those part-time I had now are night swift. By the way, do you have my number? It would be more convenient if we can text each other? Of course if you don't mind." He winked.

"Got it!" Taking the dough from the mixing bowl, he started to divided it into several smaller balls. He felt like he's doing some polymer clay. "This size is alright?" With Xiu's nod, the boil put those dough balls onto the tray. "So - that's it? They are ready to put into the oven?" It was a bit different from the steps of making the gingerbread man, so he looked puzzled. "We don't need to roll it flat and cut with mould?" Maybe there are many different types of cookies.

"Oh my number is XXXX XXXX XXXX." He took out his phone also, waiting for it to beep. "Got it, thanks!" A few seconds later he received a message with an adorable emoticon "(◕‿◕✿)" "It's very cute, and like you." He grinned while putting his back to pocket of pants.

He watched as Xiu put the product into the oven. He was curious about the saying of "they will spread out themselves" so he stared at the oven until the baku called.

"Yep. I mean sure! It would be fun!" He nearly forgot why he visited her - to learn how to make some chocolates. "I haven't try that before, so please bear with me if I fail. So - what should I do now?" He looked at the set up, clueless and puzzled. Water ? What's the use of it? He was waiting for the ghoul to instruct him.

"I. hear. C. H. O. C. O. L. A. T. EEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" A pair of glowly sparkling big eyes were staring at them. Oosp, they totally forgot it.

"You are a really really awesome instructor!" He couldn't help but said that, the baku was nice and patient, even more, she's so jacking encouraging. "Thank you so much." He gave her a sudden hug, no one should forget this boil enjoys body contact. He then started what was given to him, grabbed a mixing bowl and put the ingredients in. The powder wasn't a problem, but the solid blocks of butter were a bit hard to mix well. He got a spoon and attempted to make the butter smaller before tossing the not-so-mixture-alike thing into the water. Huh, it's more easy to stir now.

"Can we put the ingredients into water and mix? I mean butter doesn't seem to be quite mixable...would it be better if we melt it first into liquor first?" He didn't know if there's a good question to ask, but he was curious, as he always does. He watched as the mixture turning into a smooth brown fusion with nice reflection.

Head's eyes followed whatever where Xiu's finger went, the smell from what AJ was mixing was marvelously great. "I-I will behave!" Just like a kid promised his mom to be a good boil for the kinder chocolate egg later.

He rubbed his nose and left some brown powder on it without notice. "You really think so? I am so glad~" It was so happy to hear from a baking expert that he had talents over baking, and that was something that she couldn't do. She's just so rational. Maybe - he could finally beat her in one aspect? The thought was so merry therefore the hug. He was glad that Xiu wasn't startled and hugged him back. The warmness of it heated him up, compared to the night that he curled up, frozen alone. Thank you sweetheart.

A student with so many questions needed a very patient teacher, and he's lucky, he got her. "Oh-Oh! I see~ You have the point there. Sorry, I am just curious hehe." He gave a smile with a little red tint. Drawing up the paste, he checked the viscosity and the evenness of the color. It should be fine. He put the bowl onto the hot water and started to stir slowly in one direction, as the baku told him in advance. "Be careful, it might split up." He gently pushed the ghoul backward when he did so. He drew up the liquor, making sure it was smooth. "Sugar~ Sugar~ Where-are-you~" You could tell he was in a very good mood. There they are! He sifted the sugar into the mixture, as if sprinkling snow onto the brown soil. Artistic! Despite the fact that some sprayed onto the table, hope Xiu won't mind the cleaning, he would help too. "Good to add milk now?" He gave in for Xiu to check his progress.

For the good-smelling chocolate, Head will behave, it tried hard to ignore all the unsettling within its greed for confection. When it can have a tasting?

The curious boil raised another question, "Hey Xiu, I notice some chocolate added nuts and fruit fleshes into it, can we do it with this method?"

Oh! He didn't notice the powder on his nose, so when Xiu did that, he felt awkward. Not because the close contact with the ghoul, but because even his mother didn't do this to him but a senior that he just knew less than a year? Well, he felt sad but touching at the same time. "Thank you." The smile returned was with bitter taste that almost invisible.

It was good that Xiu didn't notice, he continued to pour the milk into the mixture.

Head nodded to Xiu while looking at AJ. The milk was well mixed into the chocolate mixture. The boil sighed and used the spoon to scoop a small portion of the good-smell mixture. The Head reached out, blowing to cool down the portion a bit before reaching out its tongue to lick clean the spoon. When it melts within its mouth, its eyes suddenly grew bigger.

"YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMY!" Its eyes were kira kira and it kept saying "Yummy! Yummy! Yummy! Yummy!" Well it's apparently won't bother them for a good while.

Xiu took out her reserve of nut and dried fruit jars. "Oh! They look really great! How many should we add?" He picked up one jar and shook it around to see the mixed nuts. He wondered where the ghoul bought them. He can't wait to see the finished product. His first spookie and chocolate making.

It would be better that Xiu didn't notice that, he didn't feel comfortable to talk about it, except her, mostly forcefully to make his mouth open. The boil rolled his eyes when he recalled how horrible she could be.

AJ petted the Head as if it was an adorable kid, he noticed the baku acted a bit weird, but if she turned away, he shouldn't step in that. "Ok. Get it!" While Xiu turned to take the ready-to-eat spookies from the oven, he opened the jar and took some out, chopped them into smaller dice shape and poured into the mixture, just enough to spread over the whole area evenly and stirred.

He beamed with a blush when the ghoul took the spookies back, "I am so glad I didn't mess it up, thanks for your help, Xiu." He finally stirring and put the tool down. "I think the chocolate is ready to put into fridge also."
