Akilae was not accustomed to being the center of a strange girl's attention and it was oddly gratifying. Esmeralda was one of the first beings he'd met outside of the compound and she was genuinely interested in him. Respectful of boundaries as well, it was a shame she wasn't of the Ysali clan, she might have made a fine ally someday. Some things couldn't be changed though and for now it was best to just accept that.
"I see colours and shades much like a dovaa according to my mother and I do not think you can pick Diabi as a clan." His mother had never mentioned any dovaa of that clan and he doubted Soudana would allow such a thing to happen. Such a thing would have been interesting though and Akilae wondered if his parents would have chosen that route for him over Ysali. Probably not as the order already contained many well trained sigils, a hybrid with similar powers was not needed.

“Ah that’s good! I think it would suck not being able to see the world around us with all the colors.” Esmeralda nodded to his comment about choosing Diabi, Soudana probably wasn’t the friendliest place for someone like him. Heck even she didn’t want to go there! “Well, I hope everything goes well for you when you chose.” It’s not like anything could go wrong anyways right? Closing her book, Esme leaned back on the tree staying quiet for a few seconds as she gazed at the dragons. “I hope someday I can be like one of them.” Her attention turned to him. “Well, I need to stretch my legs, want to come along or stay up here?” She looked at him hopefully; if she ran into a dragon she had no way to protect herself.

"I can walk with you for a bit," Akilae decided and offered the girl another smile. He likely wouldn't see her again but it paid to be nice to people, because you just never knew if they would turn up in your life again. Besides she was interesting to talk with and was paying him attention, it wouldn't hurt to spend a little longer with her. " perhaps one day we will both be like the dragons," he murmured as he prepared to climb down from his perch. It was not unheard of after all, just rare and difficult, still perhaps one day they would both soar through the skies on dragon wings.
