As long as Darren could remember, Rosy had never dismissed him - he didn't take her statement as one now either. It was purely a suggestion - he could stay if he wanted to, but he could also take Fang and go if he wanted as well.
Having choices (even small ones back at the Coven) was strange and new to him. Rosy had been grooming him just before they left, giving him small little options of things he "wanted" to do.
He understood she didn't want to send him packing - but at the same time, he knew he needed to go. Rosy wasn't going to grow if he held onto her and did everything for her. He was going to have to learn to let go, as much as she was going to have to learn to fend for herself.
Nodding his head he chuckled.
"I need to get him used to the room anyway, and set him up a kennel." Darren was a big proponent of kennel training minipets - Rosy didn't tend to let him do it with hers, but she'd let him stash one for Skitters under her bed back at the Coven. Smiling he gave her a hug, pulling her close so he could rest his forehead against hers.
"I am only a skellyphone call away, though maybe you could convince mother to get me an eyephone or a Preaditor Computer? Then we could stay in better communication if you needed me?"With that said, he slid back from her and patted his leg.
"Fang, come!" The Nantang responded by looking at Wei almost sadly and moving over to him. Darren knelt down and scratched the mini behind the ears.
"We'll be back so you can play with Wei later, okay?" The Nantang perked at that, and soon fell into heel beside him.
"So Rosy, did you need anything before I go?"
