Oh how nice it was to be getting opinions on things and from women who knew what they were talking about! The things Reese picked were not his first choice but the things that Tulip and Cotton were choosing...they looked so nice!
"Oh yes please!" he seemed so much more enthusiastic than he had when he'd started this shopping endeavor and he took the various dresses from Tulip and stepped into the dressing room to try things on.
"Oh...this is too see through.." an embarrassed note at the first one. He couldn't wear it! That one was set aside. The next one had a button at the neck, that was easy to do. So he changed into it and stepped out. "How does this look?" the color of this one, was not terribly flattering.

Both Tulip and Cotton Candy took up two of the seats outside of the dressing rooms. Cotton anxiously awaited Jayme's reveal while Tulip masked her excitement with sitting properly. Tillie was still organizing racks, much to the amusement of the store clerks.
"Oh! I like it!" Cotton commented before Tulip could say anything.
"The style's nice, but the color's not the best."
"Oh, sorry, she's a better judge of color than I am." Cotton gave an apologetic smile as her head wings lowered. Sometimes she really hated being blind.

Jayme was a nice pink color at their words, but he couldn't help but come over and give Cotton a hug seeing her head wings droop. "I like it too...but I think another color is best...but I really like how the dress is cut." it was very flattering, gave him a bit of a figure all things considered. Made him look a little more feminine. Which wasn't a bad thing!
Back in he went, and he looked through things to see if he had another in the same style but another color. No luck. So he tried on another one. This one was a good color...but the style was poor. The next he couldn't even zip and it was met with a "Ack! Zipper..can't...reach!" as he struggled in the little room bumping into the walls some before he was falling out of the changing room, half dressed.

Cotton's mood went straight back to her usual cheerful self. When Jayme went back into the room, the Flaffbat leaned over to her companion and whispered, "I really like her, she's such a sweet thing!"
"Cotton, don't ever change," Tulip chuckled and turned her attention back to the dressing room. Cotton looked a little confused, but shrugged and decided not to think about it.
Tulip rose from her seat, vines whipping towards Jayme as he tumbled out. "Gotcha!" Her vines braced him before propping him back up on his feet. "I'd say that dress is a no..."

"Good idea...this one is dangerous!" he hiked the dress back up carefully, keeping covered and slid the door shut again. There was only a few dresses left.
He finally picked up a pretty pale blue dress and tried it on, amazed by how well it fit, how soft it was and he stepped out and did a slow twirl.
"How does it look?"
It was pretty perfect he thought, but he did want their opinions on it all, so he stood there nervously, hands clasped behind himself.

"OH!" Cotton stood, her head wings flaring out in excitement. She going to say it was perfect, but waited for Tulip to give her the O.K., so she turned.
Tulip looked critically at the dress, even went so far as to walk around Jayme several times. In the end, and after several excruciating seconds, she went back to her spot and gave him a thumbs up. "Looks great on ya, sweetie!"
Cotton nearly exploded with glee. She rushed over to Jayme and start spinning around with him, their arms outstretched. "OH, YAY!"
Tulip laughed, Cotton could get so worked up it was humorous. "Come on, Cotton, let Jayme change back. We've still got things for you we need to find. Though, Tillie should have things well sorted by now." She glanced at the store, the Kecleon out of sight. Tulip thought she may be in the back, resorting their stock. Oh well, as long as she wasn't getting in to trouble. She turned back to the pair, "Jayme, you're more than welcome to help us shop, unless you have somewhere else to be." She smiled warmly again.

Oh how he relaxed at Tulip giving the okay on the dress and he broke into a bright smile...only to find himself being spun around! He clutched at Cotton's arms with a laugh head thrown back as he gave his first, fully meant laugh in a very long time.
When the spinning stopped, he was a little dizzy...who could blame him!? "Oh I'd like to help. Urban looks like he's busy chatting up someone." he could see the Aggron talking to what looked like from this angle a Zebstrika teen. Good for him. "What is it you're looking for?"
He stepped back into the changing room, listening as it was explained to him. The dresses he wasn't getting were brought back out and he did look at the rack to find the first dress in another color...and located it in pink. He'd get these!

"Well, Cotton here has a date with some hunk of an Eevee, or so she tells me." Tulip went on as Jayme changed. "But they're going to metal concert, a group called Haunter's Curse. She doesn't really have anything suited for that type of concert, so we're needing to find her a few items. I was thinking a band shirt, hotpants, leggings, and a few accessories, like gloves, a necklace, some other doodads, or something? What do you think? You seem pretty good with fashion, if I do say so. Think you could help us out?"
The Flaffbet didn't mind Tulip telling the story in the slightest. In fact, she was currently off in lala land, day dreaming about her Cupcake and all the fun they'd have.

"Ohhh a date that's so nice!" He listened to the name of the band and nodded. "Urban listens to them, they're not too bad actually." who would have thought this sweet thing would listen to a metal band? It wasn't by choice but he didn't hate them anyhow.
"You know, I know a better store with that sort of thing...it's one Urban shops at a lot...it's across the mall, it's called Duskull's Dungeon. They have band shirts and that sort of thing there."

Tulip shuddered at the name of the store. As a rule, she avoided anything Dusclops-related, even stores named after the Pokemon's pre-evolution. She gave a weak smile though and spoke a little shaky, "Yeah, sounds like a good idea." Cotton nodded and they made their way to the checkout counter.
When they got up to the counter, Tulip leaned over and spoke to the clerk in a hushed tone, "Could you tell our OCD friend that we're leaving now... with or without her." The clerk chuckled and nodded, letting one of her coworkers go and retrieve Tillie.
"It wasn't finished! I wasn't done! It's not sorted right!" Tillie screamed as she was escorted out of the back.
"Tillie," Tulip spoke in a loud, motherly voice. "Leave it, it's not your job. Besides, I'm sure they can take it from here. You gave them a wonderful method, I'm sure."
The Kecleon huffed and crossed her arms, thoroughly miffed. She grumbled as Jayme checked out and the exited the shop.
"Lead on, Jayme," Tulip grinned, completely ignoring Tillie's pouting.

Jayme could hear the wibble in Tulip's voice and he turned to look at her, a frown of concern on his face. "You okay Tulip?" his words quiet, though he blinked at the scream out outrage from the back.
"Uhm...if it helps we're going to another store you can sort out proper?" well he was trying to get the Kecleon teen not to dislike him!
He stepped out of the store, watching as Urban slid a number into his pocket and he shook his head. "We're going to your favorite place ever." "Home?" "Noooo...the Dungeon." He was eying the trio with a grin.
"Urban this is Tulips, Cotton Candy, and Tillie. Girls, this is Urban my body guard....who is not coming in with us." and here he stuck out his tongue playfully and grinned causing Urban to roll his eyes. "The hell I'm not. They got new stuff in for Haunters Curse, better believe your sweet ********' a** I'm going in there. I'll just stay across the store is all sheesh."

Tillie's frown seemed to lift a little at Jayme's suggestion. Maybe he wasn't that bad... but she didn't care for his sense of style. That necklace was so... so... asymmetrical! Ew! She released her crossed arms and just shoving her hands in her pockets.
"Oh! Haunter's Curse? I'm going to go see them tonight!" Cotton burst out, not really meaning to interrupt. "I'm going on a date with my boyfriend!" She spoke this last bit, half drifting off.
Tulip didn't much care for Jayme's bodyguard already. He had too much of a foul mouth on him. But she wasn't about to say anything, not with Jayme right there. But man, did they seem like an odd pair.

Jayme gave a smile at Cotton's words, a soft chuckle from him. "So, tell me about your boyfriend? What's his name? How'd you meet? That sort of thing. I don't know many guys aside from Urban and the few I do...they're not anyone I'd ever date." oh goodness no. Urban was too....in your face. Ghede was nice but not his type, and Zevian and Reese...he just didn't like them any!
Urban grinned at Tulip, sensing her dislike of him and he winked. "Hey now, don't go hatin' on me sweet thing. The bigger and badder I act, the less likely anyone is to mess with the kid here. It's the best method of keeping him safe."
Why yes, he'd just said him loud enough for anyone to hear who was paying attention. Jayme didn't even mind, not like he hid it. But he saw no reason in bringing it up either.

Tulip's eyebrow raised, she'd already figured out Jayme was a boy, but she was more interested in what Urban had said. Seemed... oddly nice... somehow. Either way, she felt like it'd be in her best interest to keep an eye on him.
Cotton looked confused for a moment. Him? Did Urban say "him" in reference to Jayme? How weird... But she shrugged it off and was positively delighted to talk about her fluffikins! "Oh, well, his name's Cupcake. He's an Eevee, like us; though when I first met him, he wasn't. He's really handsome and sweet and well, just a really great guy." Her voice was getting all lovey-dovey again. "We met when I was working at this diner in town. I was a waitress and was the most adorable little Eevee! He wandered in while his trainer was out and about. But then I didn't see him again 'til just the other day!" At this point she squealed a little. "Oh, and that's when he asked me out on this date we're going on tonight!"
Tillie ignored the lot of them and just followed silently.

Jayme had of all things linked his arm with Cotton's and was walking along with her, giggling a bit as she talked about Cupcake. "He sounds really, really nice. It sounds like you really like him too." he was happy this sweet girl had such a nice guy. She seemed to deserve it really!
Urban chuckled as he walked along with Tulip. "You don't seem surprised to learn he's a boy. He looks girly enough. Sounds girly enough...but he's definitely a boy under that dress." he only knew, due to having to help with wardrobe issues. "He's a nice kid, and sorta like a brother to me. I do what I can to keep him safe, and acting like an overly obnoxious a** is part of it."
Jayme heard that and couldn't help but snicker softly. "But how much of that is acting Urban?" "Awww shut yer trap kid." there was a low laugh as they came into sight of the store.
"Go on, you gals go and shop and s**t." and he waved them on ahead with an amused shake of his head.
