Millie poked her head in to see if Rengath was occupied.

Seeing that the professor was unoccupied, Millie trotted in with a very large bouquet of yellow tulips that were tied with a pink ribbon, clearly intent on making the pile of stuff on his desk bigger and was totally oblivious to the demon's discomfort of the things on his desk.

"Here ya go!" Millie chirped. "These were made for you!"

"What-" the professor looked like someone had just shown him a box full of canon cat vomit, "-are those?" They were flowers, yellow, and not on fire. Actually no, if they were on fire he still wouldn't want them. "Remove those." He realized that he was supposed to be 'nice to students, prompting him to hiss. "Pleasssssssss~" It wasn't an easy word to say apparently, the teacher grimacing.

Things were just made worse with the arrival of Selene. Why was she here? She didn't have anything in hand that was good, but why was she here didn't she have students to go mother and fawn over? She was also looking happy.

Rengath didn't like it.

"Selene." He scoot back from his desk slightly. "Can I help you?"
please say no.

Millie blinked at the two and Selene's somewhat odd behavior. "Hello Professor Selene," she greeted, trying to be polite. Millie didn't think she'd had a class with her yet, but there was little doubt that would not stay that way forever.

Millie plopped the flowers on Rengath's desk with a questioning look. "I was told to deliver them to you though. Surely they are meant for you?"

The sound of her name made her startle so greatly she almost tripped back on herself - her heart fluttered painfully, and she settled her hand on her chest as giant, wide eyes stared at the ghoul for a moment.

"Ohhh, hello dear, I didn't sssssssssssssssss-" She stopped, let out a tiny whine, and tried to continue. "Sssee you there. Pleasssse forgive me." She bowed her head in embarrassment, but her wide eyes managed to catch a glimpse of the ghoul giving Rengath the flowers. At first, Selene's little mind raced at the thought that perhaps Rengath was in love with a student. No, Rengie, no! Don't be so scandalous! But the thought was quickly abolished when she said that they were a delivery. She sighed in relief, and heard Rengath's request.

It was everything she could ever ask for and more.

"Help? How can I help you? I'll do anything. Please!" This was all she'd ever wanted. She wanted to be helpful! She just knew Rengie was going to find some way to keep her occupied. "Would.. you like me to put your flowers in a vase? I can do that, Rengie!" She snatched them up and held them cuddled in her arms. "Who is your secret admirer, I wonder..?" She fished around for a note.

Looking to the student Rengath shook his head. "No, they are probably meant for something else." He looked back at the offending foliage. "Like the furnace." When the glowipede crept out it took a lot of self control not to just squish it in retaliation. As tempting as it was, even he was not so cruel.

Selene's offer to put the flowers in a vase had more shakes of his head. "That is not necessary Selene. You could remove these... things from my desk actually. It might help." And burn them. Burn them until they were nothing but ash and he never had to see them until next year.

Selene saw you there, glowipede.

She saw you there.

The petite professor went quiet as she stared at the little glowing insect, then up at Rengath. Her eyes flickered from the flowers, and the bug, to Rengath, over, and over, and over, until the tiniest little peep of excitement left her with such a high pitched sound, a foxfire barked at it.

Selene's eyes got big, and round, and absolutely filled with delight. In fact, glitter sparkles seemed to shower from her expression like some sort of magical indicator of oncoming doom. And through it all, she said nothing, simply reveling in the possibility of what these flowers could signify.

Her favorite nursefriend had a crush.

Selene's arms tightened around the flowers when Rengath asked her to get rid of them, but she nodded quickly in acquiescence, and then gave Millie a comforting look. "I'll keep them, then. I will never have anyone willing to give me flowers on Scarentine's, after all. I will cherish them as though my poor lost love were still alive."

That's right Rengie. She's guilt tripping you. At least you have someone who likes you.

Lawyered.

Moriko held out her hand to the birds and managed to attract one to her. "Well hello there! Those are some nice moves you have."
