She was a horseman? Well. That was interesting, he'd seen females on their journey to conquest, but they hadn't fitted his estimation of the species at all. He'd ignored them as contrary to his conspiracy theories. "Demons are bloodthirsty too. Just most horsemen I've met were liars. Are you trying to trick me? Or are you actually lost?"
His tail curled behind him like a question mark. "Because I'm in no mood for being messed around today."

"What?" Lily frowned disapprovingly. "Of course I'm lost. I'd never demean myself by pretending to be... so..," she wilted just a bit. "Useless."

Zar couldn't refute her point, it wasn't hugely beneficial to pretend you were helpless. Unless it was some sort of ruse to coax him into a false sense of security. But even that seemed exaggeratedly paranoid, and he was trying to ease away from incessantly worrying.
"Fine. You have a point there then. I assume you would be looking to go back to the reservation? I know the way there, though I have to stop off by my dormitory to drop off this paper."

"Yes, that is my home," Lily looked relieved. This... ink..u..bus... seems to know where to go! Marvelous! "That is okay. I am rather... curious how you students live exactly," the negative implication soared right over her head.

Zar didn't take offence at her comment, equally keen himself to see how the horsemen lived."Then let's go." Without waiting for her to reply, he trudged off in the direction of the demon dorms, trailing the cart behind him. "So. Four clans. I'm guessing you are conquest?" It was a shot in the dark, most of the other clans from what he'd seen had ranged from terrifying to scantily clad. "Conquest was where I visited on our ill fated school trip. So much colour."

Lily followed after him while eyeing the cart. She distantly wondered what anyone could need with so much paper... then she wondered if he'd notice if she made them into a chair and climbed on in. She decided he'd notice. "You guessed right... and it used to. Not anymore." She wilted again.

Zar resisted the urge to pat her back. "It was a nice place, it's a shame it blew up." He couldn't sound too sad about it though, as far as he was concerned, the horsemen themselves had something to do with the incident to begin with. "At least you have your own life and health." The cart trundled along behind him, about the only real physical labour he did on a regular basis. Amity loomed in the distance.
"I don't meet many people, it's rare I'm even out like this, I'm a very busy demon."

Lily cringed at Zar's blunt take on what happened to her home. Don't put it that way again, please. "Maybe. My family is dead, though... Well. Everyone but my brother." She tilted her head curiously at Zar, "Demon? I thought you said you were an ink-yoo-bus?"

"Incubus is a type of demon." he offered "There are all sorts, some focused on specific sins or tasks. I specialise in paperwork." He didn't specify more definitely than that. "It is similar to the way you are a four clans member but you are also of conquest."
As they entered the school grounds, he headed to the demon dormitories looming ominous on their hill. "Would you like to come in?" he asked pleasantly, not wanting to drag her all over unless she was actually interested.

"I'd like that very much." Lily smiled warmly as she followed after the incubus. She vaguely understood his explanation. Except... demons were not horsemen. She frowned thoughtfully but kept it to herself.

Zar led the way through the dorms with familiarity, the plush decor reassuring and homey. He led the way to his black dormitory door and opened it, stepping inside, followed by the little cart.
"Come in if you like, make yourself comfortable, I won't be a moment."

Lily eyed her surroundings with no such familiarity. She was almost uncomfortable even being here... until she reached the boils door and was invited in. Such an interesting change, being a welcome guest. Up until now she was made to feel more like a disposable loiterer. More irritating to the Halloween creatures than desired. It brought comfort to know not all of them seemed to agree.
"Do you have any warm beverages?" She asked as she curiously peered into Zar's room after him.

"Sadly not, I don't keep liquids in the room generally. If there's anything drinkable, it won't be warm." he gestured at the chest he had kept most of Nuru's things in, along with the various snacks the boil liked "If there's anything here, it will be in there."
He started lifting out paper and neatly placing it in a filing cabinet. "I'm not generally a very good host unfortunately."

"Better than most I've seen thus far," Lily confessed as she hovered near the chest to investigate its contents. She didn't recognize any of the foodstuffs within and frowned. Not feeling particularly brave about eating things that... no longer seemed recognizable as fear anymore. She closed the chest again and began wandering his room slowly, drinking everything in with her eyes. Everything looked... big... and solid... and a bit on the decadent side. Even the chairs looked like you could get lost in their cushions. Not that any of that was a bad thing.
She pressed her hands into the desk chair surface to see if it felt as nice as it looked.

Zar was flattered by her compliments at least and gave her a genuine smile. "I'll need to be more prepared next time I bring someone around."
The chair at least was very comfortable indeed, the furnature had all been designed for very long use, no expense spared. He gave her a curious look, concerned for an instant about his chair.
But it was just a chair, she couldn't do it any harm. "This is the closest I have to home"
