Zoom hesitated due to the boy’s reaction not sure if he should set him down or not. A weak smile and shake of the head as Ryan crashed his smooth words so easily. Just ‘literally’ was a shame to his heart in away but he couldn’t blame the guy. “Is there anywhere you want me to take you perhaps?” He asked wondering just how long he would be allowed to hold the other until he got protest.

Anywhere Ryan wanted to go? "I don't care." This morning when he left the house, he didn't have a destination in mind. "I...want to try it like you do. Go where ever without a plan." Ryan thought anything would look better from the air.

Zoom couldn’t help but to squeeze Ryan slightly tighter at that. Maybe the guy was worse off than he first realized. Adjusting his grip so he made sure he had a good hold, he would take to the skies. Allowing the wind and breeze to guide him mostly, enjoying how it rushed through his hair cooling. It was a nice balance with the heat of the sun. He sadly couldn’t go for long and ended up landing by a lake with a weeping willow tree for shade. Just in case the boy wished to hide from the sun still. “For some reason . . . it sounds to me like you’re running from something. I don’t know how you can enjoy the beauty around you if this is the case.”
He of course let the boy go once they landed moving to sit under the tree and rest his now semi sore wings. He knew he should have landed sooner; this also came with the chance of the boy running or their meeting’s end coming closer in his eyes though. So he had made the trip last probably longer than he should have with the extra weight.

Ryan looked down in near breathless amazement. So this was what it was like to fly. It was...wonderful. He could see why Zoom went where ever he felt like. Like all good things, it ended all too soon. Once he had all paws on the ground, Ryan took a drink from the lake before joining Zoom under the tree. "You alright?" Not being a flyer himself, he wasn't sure how it would be carrying something Ryan's size as well as the flyer's weight.
Ryan's ears drooped slightly at Zoom's question. "I guess, if you want to call it that." He sighed. "My parents are expecting again. For a while now its just been the four of us, so..." He looked at Zoom though with a reassuring smile. "But the flying and seeing how everything looked from the air made me forget it for a bit."

Zoom glanced up to the boy cutely surprised as he was asked if he was alright. A goofy smile filled his face at that, wondering if the guy actually cared. “Yeah, wings just a bit sore.” He answered honestly, a hand rubbing the back of his neck a bit. “It was the first time I ever attempted flying with someone else before.”
Zoom, blinked when the boy started to open up only to chuckle and shake his head some, wondering what having a family was like. “You love them right. . . wouldn’t adding more to a family just mean adding more love?” His hand slowly lowered to his side at that as he thought it over. “You may never get lonely with a family like that, especially if it keeps growing. Sounds wonder, like you may always have someone there for you.”

"Then perhaps we should walk back when we're ready." Yeah, they might have come a long way, but Ryan wasn't wanting Zoom to do any damage to himself. He frowned as he heard a chuckle from the winged male. Was he really being that silly about the whole thing?
"Yeah but, I just don't know how to feel. On one hand, like you said, it might be wonderful. On the other...what if it changes everything?" He put his head in his hands. "Sis and I are adults, and we need to be having our own lives, finding someone to start our own families with. I guess...I guess I'm just afraid that because of that, my parents won't love me as much as they will the new babies."

Zoom seemed to hesitate as the boy spoke of walking back. Only for that goofy smile to return, he did speak of walking back together, used terms such as ‘we’. “If you wish.” He couldn’t help but to say, after all he was willing to fly him back after resting but the walk would end up given him some more time with this boy.
Listening to the boys feelings just made him smile more, wondering was that really how families were. “If you were in your parent’s place . . . would you ever love your children any less? For any reason at all?” His eyes sparkled some at that, he knew he probably couldn’t. So much for trying to win the boy over now though . . . Zoom didn’t want to abuse his confused feelings to get him. Sides for all Zoom knew he could be just crushing. “Do you want to be an adult?”

Ryan thought hard on it. He wasn't a parent so he couldn't really answer that. But...love was unconditional wasn't it? "I don't think so." Which meant his parents wouldn't either. He gave Zoom a big smile. "Thanks Zoom. Sorry for being a downer." The smile turned into a grimace as Ryan scoffed. "What kind of question is that? Do I want to be an adult? Of course I do!" Granted, he hadn't exactly been acting like one today. More like a spoiled kid who had their favorite toy taken away.

Zoom gave a slight shrug as the thanks not really thinking he deserved it. He was just saying what he thought after all, only to glance over the boy due to his apology. “You mean you don’t always pout like this? Shame, and here I thought it was cute.” Okay another tease, the boy obviously wasn’t interested but took them well so what was the harm in continuing.
His answer on wanting to be an adult got Zoom to chuckle some. It was hard to tell, he seemed so attached to his family it made Ryan seem as if he wished to always be a child. That wasn’t a bad wish in Zoom’s eyes mind you, as long as you knew when to be an adult as well. “Tell me about your family some?”

"Wh-what?" Pouting? Cute? Ryan felt his face heat up, so he turned to try to hide it. What was so cute about pouting? More importantly, why was he blushing? Had to be because no one ever said that to him before. Had to be. What else could it be?
"M-my family? Well, like I said, there's my parents and my sister. Mom's like me with the whole, " Ryan gestured to his ears. "Dad and Ashlynn aren't." He drew circles in the ground. "Apparently Mom and Dad's romance was a whirlwind one, but one sided. They don't really talk about it that much. And Ashlynn..." He frowned. "Ashlynn...Once we got to be adults we kind of went our separate ways. I don't even know if she was the same as when we were kits, so I can't honestly tell you about her."
Ryan turned back around to look at Zoom. "What about you? I know you said you said it seemed wonderful to have a large family. Do you have any?"

Zoom couldn’t help chuckle at how cute Ryan’s reactions seemed to be. Leaning his cheek against once of his own palms as he watched taken it all in back turned or not. “I’m not quite sure what you’re asking.” He chuckled some more wondering just how he got the bunny stuttering.
Only to actually lean in as if a child about to hear a great and interesting story as the boy started to speak of his family. “So you got your best feature from your mom.” A grin spread across his face as he continued to tease the boy, having missed the earlier blush. There was some fun in teasing someone when they didn’t even realize it was a tease or flirt after all. Deeply curious about everything Ryan had to say about this family though. “Tell me about the whirlwind?” He asked almost overly excited in ways. His smile fading and ears dropping some when the story got a bit sad in his eyes as the sister was mentioned. “You could always visit her and try to talk to her again right?”
Then of course the story time was turned around to him and he sat up again, even leaned back some as if making a slight distance between them. “I never had a family.” He gave a weak smile and shrug, feeling bad that he made the other talk of his but not having anything personal to share. Closing his eyes he leaned back even more as if to think. “Who knows, maybe I was made from a broken rainbow.”

Ryan hoped that his natural color would hide how red he was turning. If Zoom kept saying what he did, Ryan didn't know if he could keep hiding the blush. He nodded as Zoom suggested he visit Ashlynn and try to talk to her again. The bunny supposed he could do that. He didn't know why he didn't think of it before.
"Not really much to tell. From what I have heard, mum and dad talked to each other a couple times. Then at the suggestion of someone, mum and dad never were specific who, dad gave mum flowers and chocolate. Few months later, we were a family of four."
Ryan frowned at Zoom's comment about the rainbow. He felt sad that he had brought up the subject of Zoom's family, because it seemed to make the winged male uncomfortable. He shook his head. "I don't believe that. A broken rainbow couldn't make a cool guy like you."

Zoom listened only to end up chuckling when Ryan gave details about his parent’s love. “So if I gave you flowers and chocolates we could start a family?” He teased, sure by now the male would easily be scared off with that alone. His smile fading some as Ryan said he couldn’t come from a broken rainbow, only to laugh even more at the reason. “I’m that cool eh? Well if opposites attract . . . and you’re that hot . . .”

Ryan opened and closed his mouth several times, the only sounds coming out were sputtered incoherent words. Was Zoom joking? Did he mean any of it? Funny thing was...Ryan could almost imagine that having worked in getting his parents together. "I...uhm...m-maybe?"

Zoom was all relaxed and laid back watching Ryan’s reaction amused. He waited to be told off, that he didn’t have a chance, perhaps something horrible like never see the boy again. What he didn’t expect was a . . . maybe? Sitting up a blush crossing his own cheeks at that. Eyes looking around wildly as if for something he stumbled to stand, waving his hands wildly at Ryan as he tried to get his thoughts into words. “Wait here!” And at that he was off, gone in a flash, sore wings or not.
The fool was probably gone for 10 maybe 15 minutes as he panicked around looking for the items. Ending up with what probably used to be a nice bouquet of flowers ruined by the wind and flight, it had a shaggy look to it. And a bag full of chocolate . . . it was probably all he could afford from the looks of it. If Ryan was still there he carelessly shoved both items in the boy’s arms. “You said maybe right? Like . . . you might actually give me a shot maybe?”
