Fai had been working as well. There was a slab of thin rock placed over two larger ones, creating a wall, there was a plant in the middle of the table, one that was growing even as Fai poured more FEAR into it. It was a huge, exotic looking bloom, one that had most likely come from the Isle of Conquest. (He did so enjoy corrupting their plants.)
"You have the things," Fai asked as he patted the plant like one would a puppy. "Bring them over here, my friend."

Muka shuffled briefly, unconsciously, from side to side before he set forth to put the things he'd acquired down. He was currently intrigued by the plant growing right before his eyes. It was one of the biggest flowers he'd ever seen and though he was tempted to poke and prod it (he even had a finger raised) the strix pondered if perhaps that may be a foolish idea. Who knew what it could do to him! "So," The strix paused to make some bird sounds. "What are you.. we.. going to be doing?" His head tilted far to the side in curiosity.

Fai took the ink and the needles, pouring out some of the ink at the roots of the flower. It was sucked up quickly, rising up through the stem and starting to change the color of the flower itself. Then he very delicately started piercing holes in the petals, causing the petals to have patterns. "Yes, I believe this will work," Fai said--only to sigh as the flower started moving--and snapping its petals like a mouth. "Ah, too much FEAR," he admitted as the flower latched on his hand. The stem twisted, wrapping around his wrist. "Although, it does make for a lovely bracelet," he said thoughtfully. Besides, petals didn't chew very well. iloveyouDIE Sorry this took so long OTL

Ulmuka watched in wonder as Fai worked on the plant. He'd never seen a flower change so quickly and he was amazed. The strix never gave much thought to plants. They were simply there in the world and other than giving flowers to ghouls and making things look pretty, hardly served the strix any knowable purpose. As the patterns begun to show in the petals he practically gasped and then giggled in delight, clapping his massive hands together. "Fantastic!!" As the plant wrapped around the horsemen's arm, Muka giggled again and much like a giddy scareling exclaimed, "Oh more!" What more could it do!?

"Ah, it will have to grow more--but it will make a lovely strangulation device if your lady friend runs into someone she dislikes!" Fai decided. Honestly, he doubted it, but a pitch was a pitch! What? He was broke. The flower started rooting around, waving in the air as it hung off of his arm--then promptly moved to stick its roots in the place where the ink had been. "Thirsty, my dear?" he asked, patting the petal. "Perhaps some more water?" Ah, it would be bad if the plant was addicted to ink, wouldn't it?

"Hee.. I can set it by her door in case any strange men come knocking!" A tattooed self defense plant! He watched curiously as it thirsted for more ink. Was that a thing? Could plants get into ink and tattoos? "I wonder.." His birdlike sounds got louder a moment, a reverberating breathing noise that emanated from his chest while he contemplated, "if the plant could be ahh.. practiced on? She could mark it with needles and then the plan itself.. they ah shed leaves and things right?" It could shed it's marked leaves and petals and she could have fresh canvas! "If that's possible. Considering flesh tattoos are ahh hrrrmm.. more permanent."

"The leaves are nice and thick, so I don't see why not!" Fai said, ignoring the whole "I want to suck your innnnkkkk" thing that the flower was giving off. "So you're satisfied with your prospective purchase?" he asked.

"I.." Muka's head bobbed in and out, turning as he examined it. "I think so.. It will not harm her, will it?" Giving someone an annoying living plant was one thing.. but giving someone a violent one was defenitely not good (if it was your ghoulfriend).

"Oh, of course not," Fai said cheerfully. "It has no teeth, it's not large enough to strangle, and I'm sure it will become quite fond of your mare friend," he said. "But I should warn you against imbuing it with more FEAR. I do not think its necessary." Besides, he thought with amusement, the flower wouldn't last TOO long. Unless she planted it, that was...

Mare? OH YES.. he was a horseman. It took Muka a moment to absorb that comment. The strix then merely bobbled his head in an enthusastic nod of approval. "Wonderful!!" He would go get a nice pot for it and then he could take it to Needle straight away! "No more FEAR.. check. Hee." The strix flicked the fact off on one deadly looking finger. "Any other pointers? I am not considered to have ahh... green thumb." Didn't plants need light and water? He had to try and remember, especially since in the ghost dorms Needle only had the tiniest of windows.

"Perhaps keep it at a strict drop of ink a day regimen," Fai said. "I would not let it drink too often, unless it grew voracious," he decided. "But I am sure if there are any problems you can come and ask me," he added. "It will be interesting to see how it grows."

Muka's head bobbled enthusiastically. There was definitely a good likelihood that this plant would turn into some sort of voracious beast at some point down the line, but for now the strix seemed amiable to the horsemen's instructions. "Thank you sir." He said politely. The small container where the ink had been dropped ended up scooped up by the strix. "If you don't mind.. I think I will get it ready. I'm taking her on a Scarentines date and... " He giggled happily. With another polite bow the strix cradled the plant, now wrapping around his hand, and took off towards the dorms. Ice Queen for some reason I thought this was finished.. --__--;; Wrapping it up!
