There was amusement on the faerie's face as she mentioned the Love Talker bit, and he just couldn't help but find it funny. "Aye, that's one name." He thought she was cute. Almost like a little sister he never had.
"Gancanagh are known for their ability tae make others fall in love with 'em by th' touch o' their skin." His wings fluttered behind him as he pursed his lips in thought, his feet mindlessly taking him down the path he'd by now memorized.
"Oi'm slowly gettin' used tae it. But oi dinnae want tae catch others off guard."

Maple very much wanted to hide her face in her hands, embarrassed that this kind boil had heard the slip of her words. So nice to her, and she had said something that could possibly bother him, maybe. Or maybe not? Didn't seem too bad of a reaction.
Even more of an informative one. Okay, maybe this made some fairies a little more interesting, but the witch couldn't help but feel a little sad over his predicament. Though, touching for her was a little uneasy for some it was a much more welcoming sign of affection. "M-must .. g-get.. fr-frustrating s-sometimes," she found herself saying. "W-with t-touching o-others, if.. th-that aff-ff-ffection.. is.. t-true or n-not.."
Oh jack, what was she saying?! "I'msorryiitsppprobablynotmmmyplacetosssaysuchthings!" Her eyes were wide, and so apologetic. Please don't be mad, please don't be mad! He had already said he was getting used to it! URG WHY DID SHE SAY SUCH A THING?

Crouching to her level, Marosa smiled, not at all bothered by her questions. "Nay, it's fine. Really. Aye, it's a bit frustrating, but when oi kin warn others like you, it isn't so bad. Not everyone knows, and most of the time it happens on accident." His finger wavered in front of her nose as he tried not to laugh.
"Ye are quite fine. Oi'm not troubled by it." He was, but not the way she stated it. His own predicament was his own, and he just had to get used to it. It wasn't anyone's fault.
He was slowly getting used to that fact, as well.

He wasn't mad, he wasn't mad ~ Thank Hecate. There was such relief running through Maple, she almost let out a little sigh as a sign but she held it in. Instead, her brown eyes followed and crossed as his fingers danced in front of her nose. She tried very hard not to flinch, knowing what Marosa had just told her about his skin. Because, she didn't want to offend him, even though he seemed very much in control and nice about the whole thing. And, well if she moved... she was bound to get herself into trouble or something. That would be just her luck and all.
"Th-that's .. g-good you're on.. g-good t-terms with.. your... sit-tutation," the witch really was very impressed how rather nonchalant he was with it. She was maybe even a little jealous, with such a problem and so accepting of it. Why couldn't she be more like him? So kind and able to put the best foot forward.

"Nay... not really." Marosa withdrew his finger, rocking back on his heels. "Oi just act like it sometimes. Some days it gets me down. Other days... are like this. Oi kin just breeze through," The faerie stated with honesty. He wished that he was more like... her, her naivety. Oh, how he missed those days.
"Ye dinnae have tae be sorry about asking questions of me. Oi won't take offense." Giving her a soft smile, he rose again and continued the way to where she needed to go, his pace slow so she could catch up.

Her eyes continued to follow his finger, even as he withdrew it. At least they were finally uncrossed, before any strain came to them. The witch settled on keeping her gaze on their surroundings though as she nibbled on her lower lip. "I... know th-the f-feeling..." she mumbled. Because, even for her there were days she didn't feel like the worst person to try anything ever. (The type of days that others always told her about).
Maple shifted a little, her hands once against her her chest as they pulled at one of her long collar pieces. Questions. Well, if he didn't mind perhaps she could treat this as a learning experience; her knowledge on faeries was pretty limited, she had pretty much already demonstrated that. And he didn't mind. Of course, as it presented herself her mind was completely blank on any sort of topics she'd want to ask (of course)! So, she was quiet for a few minutes, also to catch up, in their short travels.
"A-are... all.. d-demons r-really th-this n-nice?" Maple found herself asking. He'd been here obviously longer, he was in more social circles for certain to her knowledge and he really was throwing a lot of what she was used to out the window. "Or.. is it-t a ... g-gancanagh at-ttibute?"

Unable to help himself, Marosa grinned. "Nay... it's just me. Other Gancanagh would be nice tae be able to touch ye. Oi just like tae make friends." He thought about asking her what he'd asked Sharra... but it probably wouldn't be a good idea. He didn't know her that well yet.
"Oi haven't really met a whole lot of other demons, but Sharra's pretty..." Awesome? Kind? That demon that he constantly had dreams about? The faerie looked away, lips pursing together as he fought to keep some semblance of himself stoic. "... oi kinnae find the right word right now, but he's a decent sort. Best friend and all. Oi haven't really met any other faeries, but it's a large school. Oi dinnae know if there's any other faeries that go here." Marosa shrugged, not really affected by it.

Friends. Maple found herself blinking owlishly at the mention and a faint blush returning. The witch had to wonder if she was actually classified under such a term with the boil; she didn't have much experience herself with making friends, so she had to think she was very awkward about any approach to it. It always seemed like a lot longer process than just a few minutes of awkward (to her) conversation and following around. Did he? She didn't have the heart to ask, perhaps save it for another day.
Maple watched and listened as Marosa's tone seemed to shift and change at the mention of this Sharra, she wasn't sure what the whole story was behind the other boil and of course wasn't nosy enough to pry it out. Best friend, but the way he struggled over words. No, don't overthink things Maple, this is someone's private business. "You're ... th-the n-nicest one I'-ve m-meet sso.. f-far," she offered with a soft smile. And well, actually probably the first one she met upon school grounds, but still. Previous encounters with the higher hierarchy were usually more.. about being civil than pleasant company.

"Thank ye," Marosa bowed, the compliment bringing a confident smile to his face. "We're almost out o' the demon dorms, it's rather big," The faerie commented, then stopped, glancing down at her with another smile.
"Would ye like me tae walk ye to yer door?" He would be willing, rather liking the conversation and how easy it was to talk to her. He needed more friends like this in general.

Almost out? Maple's attention pulled fully to her surroundings once more, it hadn't occurred to her at first how much larger these dorms were compared to her own but the more she thought about it, it made perfect sense that the demons would probably have more property. She could only imagine that the monsters could rival them in square footage.
"It is," she replied sheepishly, "th-thank you f-for sh-showing m-me around." A tour might have come eventually, maybe if she was lucky enough to find a means to get to the other dorms. But, knowing how things fared for her, she probably wouldn't have been the same as having a guide as nice as the boil before her. (Hopefully this didn't mean that something worse was going to happen to her). She too liked conversing with Marosa, it felt... relaxing, in a way. Easy and on the same level. He was nice without any other motivations (hopefully).
"Aa," she glanced about while pondering his offer. "C-could you? I th-think I'll g-get.. l-lost," because it was still a large unfamiliar building after all. And the company wasn't that bad either.

"Aye, that oi can." Nodding to the ghoul, Marosa kept his smile and ruffled her hair, tilting his head at her in a curious manner.
"So what do you like to do in your spare time? Oi'd love tae learn more about ye, especially if we get to be friends from this." He truly meant it; she was adorable, and found her easy to talk to.

Maple's body went on an automatic defensive tensing when his hand went for her head, it was nothing to do with knowing what his skin could potentially do to her of course. It just happened, it was a somewhat unfamiliar gesture. And just well, hand head, she had a cousin who would grab her horns in what they thought was a playful manner when it totally wasn't. What Marosa did was rather nice, even though her hands went instantly up to fix what he had done to her hair.
His question was met with a pause, as she considered her words. Because, well, she didn't really do much she was beginning to learn from her short time here. "I.. l-like t-to r-read," she offered lamely. One of her very few hobbies, and it seemed to pathetic to what most of creeple did. And this nice boil wanted to be friends with her, urg she had nothing to offer when she oh so liked the idea of being friends with sweet Marosa.
"I d-don't d-do.. m-uch," urg that totally sounded horrible and lame, why was she still talking. "B-but I.. I'm hoping th-that others c-can.. sh-show m-me n-neat things.. t-to d-do..." She finished off, her words trailing off and getting lower and lower in volume, almost ashamed.

Reading? Marosa wrinkled his nose, trying to think. A nice gift would be good for her, but he had no idea what she liked to read.
"What sort of books?" He smiled down at her again. "No worry, we'll hang out again together sometime and try some hobbies, aye?" Giving her a wink, he entered down another hallway (was this where she was?) and stopped slowly, glancing back to her.
"Are we nearly there?" The faerie couldn't help but grin. "Oi dinnae want tae get ye lost when oi said oi'd help ye get unlost."

Were they nearly there? Maple glanced up at her surroundings, kicking herself a little for not paying as much attention as she should have. But there were familiar pieces around her at least, a good sign they were on the right track to the entrance of the dorms themselves.
"All k-kinds," she simply told Marosa with a half smile. She didn't really discriminate against books, even the dry ones, "M-my f-favorite author is.. Gr-grimoth Zahn th-though, h-he wr-writes m-magical f-fiction." Maple felt a little sheepish admitting that such a thing, since it had nothing to do with academics and the like. Purely entertainment value and all.
She liked the idea of touching on other hobbies though, and her small smile grew at the thought. "I w-would like th-that..." It was a good thing she didn't catch his wink or she would be blushing all over again. "A-and we're c-close t-to the en-ntrance.."
