Ceron sat in the back seat of a rather luxurious car as it pulled up to the hotel. The man she was escorting climbed out first and walked around the back end of the car and opened the door to assist her out. She accepted his hand and allowed him to pull her out.

"I thank you for the wonderful evening Ms. Eleazar, perhaps we might get together sometime soon and do it again before you disappear on another one of your delightful adventures." He said in his clipped voice bowing over her hand and kissing it.

"I do hope we do this again soon, it was a very enjoyable evening Master Breac." Ceron said as she walked calmly and carefully into the hotel and toward the elevator.

Once inside the elevator she let out the breath she hadn't realized she'd been holding with a grumble and began cursing Chance in every language she could think of in every possible combination. Considering she knew about 23 languages, this took the span of her entering her hotel room, stripping out of the ridiculous garb that she had been forced to wear on the assignment, removing the latex that disguised her face, shower, select her threads for the evening, arm herself, pack her duffel bag and check out.

She slid on her sun glasses in deference to the setting sun as she waited for the valet to bring around her bike. She had one in every major town or city where she plied her trade usually maintained by a discreet mechanic or one who dropped out of the game. The valet brought around the bike struggling to dismount and she flipped him a generous tip as she passed him, he was significantly taller than her, mounted slung her duffel behind her and took off to her first and more "public" safe house. It wasn't until after she parked her bike and settled in her apartment did she call in for a debriefing.

Chance had given her a ride from Lucidus Magus to Novum Fulgur along with Aiden upon which she had slept from wheels up to wheels down. She hadn't slept for three days before the whole chaotic eruption that was the kidnapping and assassination so having a safe place or at least relatively safe place to catch up was a luxury that she owed Chance for at the very least. She had offered to board them at her place since her apartment was more than enough for the three of them to live in and not get in each other's way but they had declined stating they had their own digs. Ceron had been dropped off and been informed that Chance would "keep in touch" which meant he had jobs. She shrugged, it was better that she had something to keep her busy rather than pacing all about the apartment or doing something to make her neighbors think she was stark raving mad.

She poured herself a glass of raspberry juice from her fridge that was stocked an hour after she arrived by one of the Corps d'Shade munchkin. It was their job to see to her needs and get things done as well as shadow her when she was on assignment to learn the trade. She had to admit that she made her shadow's job very difficult. Her shadow had to restock the fridge every three to four days considering how much they would have to eat and she liked her food as fresh as possible which meant that all food older than five days had to be chucked out or the shadow could eat it, which ever but she didn't want it in her fridge. She never enjoyed travelling by car and always took a bike which could go places a car couldn't which was typically what her shadow drove, she would take obscure routes to destinations which was usually faster considering the traffic in Fulgur could be hell at the worst times and she didn't care for waiting. The worst thing she probably did to her shadow was change guises half way to one of her several destinations leaving her shadow to pick up her discarded layers of clothing.

Sitting down in her sofa as her shadow finally entered and stood at attention at the door waiting for directions she sighed. She had instructed the kid that once inside the apartment they were to relax and make free with the place. She looked at the kid, well kid might have been the wrong word for it, he was taller than her, muscular which strained at the clothing he wore which consisted of a shirt, vest, jeans with sneakers and a hat. His auburn hair poked out from under his hat and he looked ready for orders. She sighed, kid needed to learn how to relax.

"Grab a glass of something to drink and come take a sit here while I call in the assignment." she said to him.

He obeyed without question pouring himself a glass of apple cider and sitting across from her rigid and proper. It caused her to roll her eyes as she dialed Chance.

"Hello." a masculine voice spoke on the other line.

"Ahh, I'm calling for Chance."

"He's not here at the moment, he's on break."

"Chance is never on break."

"He's on break."

"This is Ceron tell him that my target didn't have anything for him and that's five wealthy spoiled witless gits in the past three days if he sends me to one more escort or babysitting job, I will slit his gullet and strangle him with his entrails."

"I will pass the message along Ms. Ceron, and he has a message for you too in response and I quote, 'Deal with it.'"

Ceron growled and hung up the phone. She stared at the mobile in her hand for a bit before she growled again and tossed it onto the coffee table. She got up and walked to her room and changed her coat which wasn't discreet enough for her liking and instead selected a mid-calf length trench coat. She checked herself in the mirror. She was wearing a tight fitting white shirt with a dark gray tie, dark gray shorts, black tights and ankle boots. Ceron walked out to the coffee table and tucked it into the inside breast pocket of her coat before buttoning up the torso.

"I'm going out. You can stay or shadow, it's up to you but leave your phone on." she said to the trainee and walked out the door picking up her keys from the bowl.

She heard the trainee trail behind her locking the door and instead of taking her bike out, she decided to take a walk, and grab some dinner, which was a great source of information if you knew where to look, and whose pockets to grease. Fortunately for her she knew exactly where the sneaks liked their dinner

"I do have it-right here actually." He said and slapped his suitcase with his palm."I have no idea of its range or.... I'll show you." Numbers spun around the top rim of the suitcase and cupping the suitcase with his arm, he laid the item flat on his forearm so that it opened for his display. With no confusion as to where the device was, Manson plucked the pen-like item right from a pocket and shut the suitcase tight before it swung down to near his side. He held the cylindrical obkect up with a forefinger and thumb for Aziz's taking. "I plan for its return to the owner, but it's quite much ours as running into him is to our advantage, an impossibility."

As it seemed, it was a simple mission of a pick-up that they were there in Novum Fulgar, but it by no helping that Manson would imagine the time eventful and standing infront of the border than divided city and metallic earth, he felt ease in his hopefulness.

"Do we have ourselves plans for our stay tonight?" He asked onlooking a checkpoint. Illuminated rims and linings of a hat and uniform indicated the stationed men and geared they were.

She went into a recline and felt a touch of on her shoulder from Mr. No Name
and thusly, Aiden jerked in the slightest way as she was repulsed in some sort of way before moving forward into a lean on her knees again.

"Okay," Levette would start in the means of a skeptical tone and watching a uncomfortable Aiden bring her contact onto the floor, "Who and who? Who are the killers?"

Aiden's souring face sunk onto her fingers which trailed up just underneath her the red halos that were her eyes. Her head seemed to be pulled up to face Levette by her hands. "You know, it's just silly I've gotten a little too comfortable. Plus, I got hookah head." Hands slapped her thighs and she stood up. "I'm going to make my adieu guys."

"Hookah head?" Asked Mr.No Name who was slow in conjuring up a reason for Aiden to stay.

"Yeah, I got a hookah headache. You know... ouch."

"What the ********?" Levette said as if her tongue were now sharp like a knife.

Aiden was checking to see if all was in her pockets. "I know. I know. What a bitchy thing to do. Bye though." And Aiden was up, drunk, and off. Hands hung in the air, loosely suspended by limp wrists as she moved past the flow of the venue. She turned and shouted, "I forgot to hug you guys, but you know!"

She was now outside, accompanied by less than fresh air that was Novum Fulgar's. There was no desire to return to her room or much desire to do anything at all.

Ceron made her way to one of the sketchy districts, it would take a bit of meandering from locale to locale to get to the sneaks she was looking for. She sighed a bit at the time it would take to find them. She wasn't on a time frame but she had been working the past three days almost without sleep only to find no leads on Pentagram. Sighing she turned into one of the bars known to host underground bands and several under the table types. The bouncer stopped her at the door and frisked her before holding the door open for her. She smiled at him in a way she knew he would take to think she found him to her liking, but really she was smiling because he hadn't found any of her hidden weapons. The bar was loud and the band had the attention of the crowd, she was giddy, it was a good night to do business.

She meandered to a table ordered water in a martini glass with few drops of gin and the olive, she couldn't afford to get drunk but if her drink smelled like alcohol and she was seen drinking it, it was good enough. She lounged crossing her legs in a way that she knew made them look a mile long and observed the men and women meandering about looking for well one like her. Eventually she caught the eye of a good looking man, clean shaven and very charming in appearance. She looked him up and down as if deciding whether or not he was worth her time. He sat down uninvited in the chair opposite her and ordered a beer.

"See anything you like?" he asked in a clipped accent.

"Depends are you offering or am I buying?" she asked knowingly.

"If you like what you see I'm offering."

"What about what you might know?"

The man cast her a calculating look, "That my lady, is for sale."

"Awww and here I thought you might like what you see." Ceron replied coyly.

"If you have something I want, I might be able to swing things your way."

"And what might that be?"

He watched as his mark wandered by. It had been a very long time since the two of them met. He had to admit that he was smitten by her, even then. The years apart had only made his own heart grow fonder of her.

A low laugh released from the depths of his chest. He loved it when he created bullshit stories in his mind that matched the character that he would play. Honestly, it was luck he met her here. He was finalizing some business with a few partners and was wandering back to his hotel. And, truth be told, it had been a while since he and Aiden had met. So, it seemed as though fate had intervened and allowed him a chance to catch-up with his favorite female weapons dealer.

"Aiden." Timont said, appearing next to her as she drunkenly (he assumed) staggered around. "It has been a long time. Have you thought on the offer my late father gave you? You know, he was fond of you. Almost as much as I am." He stood next to Aiden, waiting for her response. He just hoped she didn't try to cleave his head off.

{Lol, mystery deal.... that not even I know what it was. Pssh..... AND FINALLY WE HAVE TIMONT OFF AND RUNNING!}

Though it were the night in which horizon is cast down over by dark, there was no compromising of the sight of her path. It was what solely seemed to be the exception that was the most of what was seen under that signature that was of Novum Fulgar that was what Aiden walker under. A quick and steady pace became a manipulation of truest will and even then, it would look that she had an unrelentless inability to do anything but uneven strides and this was how she found the many walls of the many buolding must generious in her glide back to her hotel.

Upon hearing her name, she gave the wall a lean of the weight of her back as she steadied herself and turned somewhat relieved that there was a reason to stop what forced concentration she had produces. Calm, yet in all mind ready to act and power up a spell, she turned to who mentioned her name. Her eyebrows raised instantly overneath a curl of the lips. "s**t, no way. Timont! " She started and outstretched arms raised before at once lowering to the sides of her black jeans and them up and crossed against her torso. "Deal? Deal?... Deal... deal... deal.... I have so many deals. I'm sure I did. I mean I'm sure I thought about it..."

Timont laughed in his deep baritone laugh. "It was just some territory deal. Gave you rights over some city or other. Gramps was raving mad about that one. Father always did consider you part of the family. I swear he would have adopted you and given you control of the weapons trade if he wasn't so intent on throwing us together in a marriage. Not that he told you that." Timont straightened his jacket, wiping off invisible (and visible) dust particles. "Not that it matters. Now that he's dead I've taken control of the weapon dealers. Good old Gramps still keeps the family together through his mystical powers. But he's starting to train one of my cousins to run the whole family business one day. Glad it's not me, that's all I have to say." He turned his head, a genuine smile gracing his lips. "So Aiden, what's new with you? Seeing how I haven't seen you in years. I admit I sometimes wondered what you were doing, in the odd moment of nostalgia. I always assumed you would be running around the world, being an adventurer. Or something of that nature. Seemed to mesh with your personality." He paused in his train of thought, before laughing again. "Of course, I could just let you answer that, and not place upon you my exceeding specific expectations of your life."

She slide down the extent of the wall slightly and dragged herself right back up exhaling deeply as if it were by work that she held herself up. Patting down the sides of her pants, she finally discovered and pulled a cigarette carton and then the cigarette. Then, with no caution to hide her Noxan roots, she lit the cigarette with waving five fiery finger tips past the end of the cigarette. Puff. Puff. Holding up the carton to Timont, she gestured a cigarette offering.

"Us getting married? 'Guess the dude didn't figure out how not classy I can be." Slowly, Aiden would nod up and down over the news of the old man's death. It was years she'd seen the man, and as was the case with many of her relationshops, she'd been absent just long enough so that one less familiar face was part of her life and trade. Aiden let Timont be the lead the topic and also be the ending note.

"Yeah, I run around the world; like, I swear this is my millionth time here in the last few months. And I was just in Lucidus a couple of days ago AND I was supposed to hop over to a trip West for my throne from there, but dude, you know the fire? I was there! I was in that s**t and now I'm here again instead." She slowed down. Took another puff. "Sorry, sorrrrry, drunken speak. I've been drunk so much lately.... gonna get sloppy or I've already been sloppy. You! What the hell have you been up to all this time? Has it been years? Your taller!"

Timont took the cigarette offering. "You were tough. He liked that. Always said the family was too high class. That, and you could keep me in check if I ever got crazy. I'm pretty sure he knew how unclassy you could be." He chuckled, puffing at the cigarette. He slide himself down next to her, taking a rest for his legs.

"The fire in Lucidus? Damn, must have been intense. But whatever. Anyway, I've been around, learning the workings of my business." He chuckled at the taller comment. "I guess I have gotten taller. s**t, it feels like yesterday I was just fourteen, and in in Aes with father, facilitating an arms deal with some terrorist organization or other." He laughed, taking a second to continue puffing at the cigarette. "We screwed them badly, and damn were they pissed. He took me to Ater Nox next, because he could get some really good whiskey there. First time I ever got drunk. Anyway, I was actually just back in Aes, talking business when we got the news about the fire. I just hightailed it out of there and back here. Seems like Lady Luck was on my side, since I found you. But yeah, it's been...." He started to tick off his fingers, "Four years? Maybe five? s**t you were young then. I know my old man kept in contact, but some family politics s**t came out; and my brothers and I had to take care of it. Gramps was pissed as ********." He waved his hand as if a manner of that explaining everything. "Anyway, how old are you now? Twenty?" He chuckled. "s**t I still remember the first time we met, and we were in..." Timont paused for a moment "Ater Nox, at school. I was sixteen, you were eleven. Didn't think much of you until I saw you in action. That caught my eye.... and the eyes of others I'm sure." Timont held the cigarette between his fingers, his eyes clearly reminscing.

"I never did find out how old you were when you started the business. Or was it your parents business before yours. s**t I can't remember." Timont puffed at his cigarette once again. "Maybe I should stop drinking so much? Or start drinking more. I'm never sure."
PostPosted: Sun Jun 09, 2013 7:11 pm

"Obviously drink more!" Her head trailed Timont as he came alongside her in a lean as well. Eyes scanned at what was once a boy and now although still identifiable, now man. The years had pulled no hurt to his looks.

"Nineteen and I was fourteen when I left. Yep, left then with my uncle to Thesaurum and you know, he regretted it after not long cause it take me long to get 'unclassy.' He tried to send me back, blah blah blah, then I really bailed."

She pulled a hand to her face and stretched the skin under her eyes. Thinking about dates from back when was enough to add a little stress to her night. "Start small, do big, get fancy- It's not hard to get a couple of guns in Thesaurum and get good at selling them. I made the business happen and my parents won't be needing any of that credit."

Her core arched and pulled the weight of her back off the wall. She turned in the same movement taking a step around so that she was facing the man. It was then she thought about asking about her parents. Rather hesitation led to a finishing puff before she asked, "You still tough? Tougher maybe?"

The red halos of her eyes that had been an occurrence of the entirety of the night heightened.

Timont listened to Aiden's story, nodding at a few things. He certainly knew how easy it was to sell weapons in Thesaurum. Hell, that was probably where she met his father, selling weapons there. It was also how his father knew the Merchants guild, and why the Heliants were now serving a back seat in manufacturing weapons to Thesaurum. Though, if this new war broke out, things could change quickly.

Timont could tell that Aiden was thinking of something, before she asked about his toughness. He didn't push it, instead he laughed, and instinctively reached out, ruffling Aiden's hair. "You questioning my toughness?" He asked, a grin plastered on his face. "I guess one could say I'm still tough. Not as tough as before. Too much negotiating, not enough fighting for me. Especially since my father died." He nodded at Aiden. It seemed odd. She wasn't the little girl she used to be. Instead she was a woman, and not an unattractive one at that. Still, though the two had never been super close, they had been friends. It felt awkward to not think of her in a sibling manner, but rather in a more mature way. The price of time, he guessed.

"Why you want to test out how tough I am?" Timont asked, finishing his cigarette, before tossing it on the ground to be crushed underneath his shoe. An impressive feat seeing as how he was still crouched against the wall. "If you do, we could always figure something out. Though I'm sure you'd win whatever contest you think of, especially with all this adventure you've been doing." He grunted, pulling himself to a standing position. "We could have a bet. I tend to respond well to incentives. I wonder if it was a family thing?" He stretched his arms reaching high towards the sky, his dress shirt pulling slightly to reveal a slim stomach. Not fit persay, but definitely not out of shape.
