Willow's tail flickered, "It is. Had I not, I probably would still have very few friends." She answered, "Nothing like being thrown into a large crowd to make you a little less afraid of them."
She paused when he flicked his tail away and took away the shiny. She looked at him with big sad eyes, it was so fun to play with. "OH? Hand-made?" She tilted her head, "It's very nice for being hand made." She nodded, trying not to pout that her new toy had been taken away. She had been very careful not to use her claws to paw at the toy.

That hadn't been the reason he'd expected to hear for it being good. At least she hadn't been offended, but, friends was her main concern? Not a future governed purely by such strict, gender confined rules? Ones with a seemingly archaic feel to them? "It is... crowded here. Yes." He chimed, liking her term. While it wasn't as if he felt suffocated, there were more than a few people buzzing about at all times. Always something. But being less afraid? He frowned a bit, musing over that. He wasn't afraid of them was he? Just, unsure. There was a difference.
He eyed the bell on his tail lightly, ensuring it was perfectly fine before looking up to see Willow had taken it upon herself to wear the biggest, saddest, most pathetic set of eyes he'd seen. In a while anyway. She was merely giving an unamused look as he carefully untied the bell from his tail, intending to keep it somewhere he'd be able to see it easier. Safer. It was wonderful she liked it, but this was his bell. He wasn't about to let someone bat it around like a toy. "Well, I chose it carefully. Most of mine are hand-made. They have a more unique and clear ring if a personal touch has been put into it. A practiced artisan can make them as polished and complete as one could hope." He added, dusting the bell off a bit as he pulled it free and flicked his tail back to where it had been. "It's merely a matter of standards."

Willow nodded, well at least they agreed there. "What's it like where you come from?" Her ears perked, obviously she wasn't going to talk about herself, all day. She was curious about others as well.
She took up batting at his tail. It was big and fluffy, it was a nice consolation. "I see, I bet the horsemen could make some nice bells." She said musing over the fact. Thinking about what he'd said, about how they were hand made and polished, "I bet you could get some more maybe some ornate ones, too."

Where he was from? Well, basic things should be fine as long as he didn't go into detail. Not that it was interesting at all, she wouldn't ask again after he explained a few things afterall. "Lots of snow, and quiet. We lived away from people." They weren't recluses, but when you didn't want your personal business getting out, you didn't sit right around where society was. You kept to yourself a bit and chose your moments. "It was just our house out in the area." Pretty boring, seeing as all there was was places to go wandering and a house. Nothing new ever happened there. Nothing changed.
School, was obviously not a place that followed those same rules.
He continually shifted his tail, lifting a brow at the fact she was now batting at it like it was some sort of toy. Really? Maybe if he ignored it she'd get bored. Though the information she offered as intriguing. He'd heard a little about some horsemen clans at some point, but didn't have any real details. Just what they were, and he hadn't been that aware many were around? "Oh?" And if they were any good, as she was suggesting, he could get a few real treasures from them? "Is that so? Do you know any of them then?" This was a subject he'd need to learn a bit more about, seeing as it was in his best interest.LP owo Did you still want to finish this?
