She didn't think so, but hey, it was worth a shot asking. "I suppose I can go and ask one of the division leads about it later or something." On the bright side, it was apparently an unpleasant time. Maybe not having the memories wasn't a bad thing after all. Though, in the case of Ryan.. That was a little more troubling.
At the mention of the horsemen, Kat only remained silent, waiting for him to continue.

"Yeah, I'd ask as soon as you could. Being in the dark about this isn't exactly a good thing." Lex affirmed, tapping his chin. He didn't like being in the dark about this either, actually. If there really was mind wiping technology, why would it be kept hidden? They could interview Halloween students, and wipe their brain if they weren't good weapons candidates.
Back to the story. This part, he definitely didn't know much at all of. "All I know is that you weren't tortured, initially. They actually took care of you, and let you bathe in their hot springs. Then they asked you to help bring Deus down, and you refused. We found you in Alaska, battered and freezing." He finished, rolling his shoulders.
"And...well, you know the rest."

Not answering, she just remained in a thoughtful silence while listening to him speak. Was it really a bad thing to have that all blacked out? Maybe she had actually been done a favor? Judging from what Lex had told her, she should be mad - hate Caelius for what he did to her - but without those memories, she honestly didn't know what to make of it. Maybe that was the point of it all? Who knew?
Rubbing at her temples, Kat shrugged, followed by a small shrug. "Sorry, I just find this all kind of hard to believe. It does explain how I managed to get sun burnt and nearly frost bit all at once, but its.. quite the story.." She knew Lex wouldn't lie to her about something like this, but man. It was kind of a lot to take in, especially when she remembered nothing about it.

"If I were in your shoes, Kat, I would have the same reaction. Hunters go through some weird crap, but this is a story that I think even some of the more experienced guys on the island would have trouble with." Lex sympathized, patting her on the shoulder.
A beeping sounded from his phone, alerting Lex that it was time for duties. He had infirmary, thank heavens. He could deal with whining Hunters with a pessimistic outlook - he couldn't deal with the fecal matter of stupid little things that didn't even have enough FEAR to last longer than a few days on island.
"I need to go now, sunbeam. Get some rest, take a while to process everything. Welcome back to the land of the living." He smiled, ruffling her hair. It wad truly odd, even to Lex, how the Life trainee could switch from womanizer to big brother to the same woman in a matter of days. Puling on his scarf and coat, and letting Kat out the door, Lex locked his room with a small sigh. Oh what Deus had done to him.
