The very concept of a swimsuit eluded Merope faster than an obvious statement. He didn't know that the shorts he fancied happened to fall into the swimsuit category. To him, everything went into the water. It was just that some clothes handled it better than others. He knew that there were different kinds and types of clothes and each played an important part in some role or another. He didn't yet realize that there were some clothes made just for swimming.

Regardless he gave her an odd stare as she investigated her bag, giving her a shrug when Star made his appearance. "Eh, we're nearly there. Might as well let him run around for a bit, though I'm not sure if he'll take well to swimming. At the very least he could camp out with our stuff to make sure no one runs off with it?"

He reached out to carefully scratch the minipet under its chin. "Did you keep him outside of the minipet closet with you when you fell asleep? If you did, it wouldn't surprise me if he wants to get out. Being stuck inside for that long... I don't blame him for his cabin fever."
