Leon had his doubts. "Do you really have Rep's best interests in mind?" the question just had to be asked. "What good would ganging up on the guy do? Give him reason to think he can't be beat in single combat." It wasn't as if he didn't want to teach the guy a lesson, but it didn't seem like the right way of going around to do it.
Man logic was telling him that nothing good could come from this. "My beef isn't with who supports him, or who he's friends with, its just him."

"Yes, I do. I just don't think he's going to get better if everyone around him makes excuses for everything he's done. I know strong hunters are vital for killing creatures, but it shouldn't be at the risk of everyone else. I wish people would get more upset, and it just seems to be shield with all those people that protect him. I never said it was a good plan or even a plan at all. Just..." He gestured vaguely as his head to signal he just had a thought before rubbing his eyes under his glasses. He shouldn't even be thinking like this at all, but it was on his mind.
Rep and how dangerous he was and could be and if he could be trusted.

"So you want to stage an intervention."Leon butted in with the realization. "And potentially aggravate whatever ties you have with him and whomever cares about him. I hope you are really thinking this out Melvin."The plan seemed half assed from his point of view, that something could go wrong easily.
But it was Melvin, the prince of the you tried sticker. "Well I can't let you do it alone, I can try and help if you want it." He wasn't making friends as it was, what were a few more enemies to him?
He had Melvin, thats all that mattered,

"You're right. It's a completely half-assed plan, if you can even call it a plan. He's been talked to by all his friends and also been beaten up I'm sure. I just can't see people loose more hands and limbs and everyone just shrugging their shoulders and say it was just an accident when it could be prevented. Or worse, that someone dies and no one gives a damn because they weren't that person's friend." His mind wandered back to his dream. Would anyone care?
"I'll have to think of a better idea." When his brain wasn't just sparking out thoughts like a broken, burned-out machine. It was beneath him as a Life hunter to just pull something out of his a**.

"Maybe you should get some proper sleep, and a decent meal before you start thinking about this." Leon decided to bite the bullet and prod at Melvins side with a finger. "I mean, look at what you've been thinking about in your condition." Either way, it was clear that the blonde thinker was really set on going through with what he wanted as a result.
But would the ends justify the means, and the potential backlash that would occur. " You can brainstorm later, after you get back into your optimal working order." Anything to keep the guy from getting himself slaughtered by rep right now, was a good idea to him.
No he really wasn't going to give that up.

Melvin jumped with a start and slapped Leon's hand away. "I'm in no condition. I'm fine. It's just been a long day." He snapped, and took a sip of his coffee without thinking and cringed as he swallowed. He forgot it had gone cold.

"Well i'm glad you were able to admit it." Leon said with a cheesy grin, even when Melvin decided to throw a temper tantrum. "As long as you realize it and don't try to play martyrdom and having your last meal be a pathetic piece of whole grain toast." he really did hope that was whole wheat you were munching on, goggleboy.

"Toast, coffee, and some grapes. Don't forget those. That's basically the food pyramid right there." He teased, rising up from his seat. He was running on fumes here and probably needed to pass out.
Pressing a hand to his back and bending back to work out the kinks from sitting in a office chair all day, he looked back down at Leon. "Thanks - for like - talking here."

Melvin, he was the king of smarmy when grumpy. Like a cat, that's what Leon figured. A big grumpy, sassy cat. "And yet you still have no vegetables yet." the boxer stated, the tone of disapproval in his voice. all the dissapoint Melvin.
At the very least, he was happy to brighten the guy up, if only for the passing instance. "Not a problem, I can manage to talk to you without feeling the need to hit something, that's an accomplishment."

"I'll try and find a carrot for breakfast." He assured him, not really going to bother finding a vegetable just to please a guy he rarely spoke with. Still, with all his friends being people he had a hard time looking at lately, it was nice talking to someone different and not in the same group of friends. He had no idea who Leon even hanged out with.
"Well, we'll see how well that works next time I get around talking to you." Melvin wasn't about to kid himself that he sometimes set himself up for getting punched. "Good night or good morning, Leon." He said, and with a wave, he slowly made his way out of the cafeteria and off to bed.
