"No. No I don't." Hafwen merely shook her head at Delilah's question, already moving to get up from her seat in front of the computer terminal. She was of the opinion that they secured the book or at least make a reservation for it depending on when it was due to be returned. There were occasions when she herself found that speaking to the librarian in person about her school assignments had a tendency of coming up with more leads than she herself would be able to think up on her own hence her suggestion.
"Sounds like a plan then. I'll grab us a copy of the book if it's still available and we'll see what else we've managed to come up with on our respective ends back here after we're done?" Either way it didn't matter how the both of them chose to go about this, the more leads they had to draw material from, the better this would turn out for them by the time this assignment was done and dusted.

It took Delilah a few moments of hard work before she came across what she wanted. As a smile grew on her face, the girl pushed back from the computer and walked towards the printer she had sent several notes too. In it was references to books about the time period she expected to go through.
Sneaking around several younger classmates who felt talking about Justin Bieber was more interesting, she grabbed the paper and walked through the shelves pulling the five books she had found.
When she returned to Hafwen, the girl shook her head before dropping the pile of books. "You know, I never understood what people got in pop singers. Especially ones that really don't appear to care about anyone else but themselves."

"I have no idea to be honest. Ya really have to wonder how on earth they managed to make it that big and famous with the trashy lyrics in those songs that are supposed to be chart toppers apparently." Hafwen quipped, gesturing towards the book she had managed to pick up from the librarian before handing Delilah a slip of paper on which the titles of five books were scribbled in pencil. "The librarian gave me a couple of references but I wasn't able to find the books although they aren't on loan at the moment according to the library records. We may have to go down to the city library..."
She blinked a few times when her gaze skimmed over the pile of books that Delilah had retrieved on her own. "... wait a minute. So you were the one who grabbed them before I could. What a coincidence!" She chuckled when she came to the realisation that they had actually been after the same books just prior to their rendezvous to check on each other's progress. "I guess this means that we have managed to save ourselves a trip to the city library for now unless these books don't contain what we're looking for."

Looking in the direction that Hafwen motioned, Delilah smiled and gave an approving nod. "Good. Should give us something to start..." Stopping mid-sentence as Hawfen took in the books she was carrying, Delilah was trying not to laugh until she could put them down on top of the other.
"I don't know what that says about me. I think like a librarian?" Delilah raised an eyebrow and shrugged. Was that good, bad, or did she spend too much time reading? Well it wasn't the later to be sure.
"What do you say we each take three and tackle them over the next day. See what we can find and any leads?"

"More like you're the proactive type who tends to take things into your own hands. Still, good job on getting these before anyone else did." Hafwen quipped, still very much amused over what had just happened with her partner. Delilah White. She certainly wasn't anything like the typical rich snobbish Daddy's girl that made up the majority of Crystal Academy's cohort.
Giving an approving nod at what the other girl was suggesting, she helped herself to the first three books that were at the top of the pile that Delilah had grabbed from the shelves then started towards the counter to get them checked out by the librarian. "Alright. I'll take these then. We'll meet again tomorrow to consolidate our findings then decide where to go from there." With any luck, these books would give them exactly what they needed to nail this assignment for good.
