Blinking, the ghoul did indeed accommodate for his movements, but didn't stray. Levi kept her ground and just sort of went along with it. Hands fanning out to reach and grip at West's shoulders, the ghoul's tail retrieved and coiled around his as if to hold him steady. Was yer sorta fashion, I s'ppose. Any time I'd git some sorta memory from tha'Queen, yew were goin'round as naked out front as'a hellhunter. 'xcept ya had a coat on yer shoulders... Emphasizing, Levi's hands rubbed at West's shoulders, producing a light sensation of warmth from the friction. N' yer hair was 'bout~ up ta 'ere. Her left hand left its place, sliding down West's arm, poking him in the side with her index claw as it scratched its way down. Just 'bout where yer pants started.

To the ghoul, it was no big deal if West decided to wear such a fashion considering he was more of a laborer in the other world. The farming boils back home, when in their smaller forms, did it all the time. They practically compared their small formed fur patches as if it were a badge of just how potent their tatzelwurm forms were for having so much fur transfer over even after the pins were in use. It was this that led Levi to believe West could rival even those boils; his patch was a positive trait in her eyes.

So don't be givin' me no lip, boil. Yew did it all yer dang-flamin' self. Alls I had ta'do was look down. Levi did just that then, placing her wandering hand at the point she'd envisioned as the most fur-riddled. He looked like yew, boil. Not tha'other way'round. When I knew what was goin' on, after Medea was tellin' us there wasn't much else but fakes n' shadows, I could only see yew through 'im. When tha'time came, I took care'a things. So I could come back 'ere. Her last word would be paired with a short bounce against the mattress' springs. She hadn't just meant she'd returned to Halloween; Levi meant here with him.

His hands drew into fists again when she met his anger with a cool wall of rationality. He trusted her, he had to, and he was only mildly horrified by his counterpart's apparent affinity for flaunting his chest. The source of the boil's anger had shifted again, from disbelief to jealousy, though this flare of that second emotion was now only partially directed at this mysterious Other West. She had been one of the ones to fix all of this and he hadn't been there to help. He'd been doing homework and keeping his appointment with the Fitness Club's punching bag. She'd been a queen. He was jealous of her.

West listened, noting the continued absence of deception in her tone, her lack of desire to return to the phony world where she was royalty. She had worked to get back home. She was here with him. Touching him. He sighed, his heart thudding steadily against her palm. Maybe none of it mattered. He wanted to be angry again, but his emotional excess had been drained away by the sound of her voice.

"Dun wanna talk 'bout him... me anymore," West murmured. "I'd still punch'im in th'jaw... but... whatever. I'm glad yer back an' I'm glad yer in one piece... yer not hurt right?" he asked, tail finally curling to meet hers. His hands slid across her hips, coming together behind her as his fingers pressed into her back.

He was flustered, that much the tatzel could tell. The wrath demon was easily read, and his heart hitting up against the touch of her hand was further evidence of his intensity of feeling at the moment. Compared to how he spoke a moment ago, however, West was rather soothing. Sure, it was refreshing to hear him talk to her with care, but it also caused Levi concern.

Yer not mad at me, are ya? Sighing with a melancholy expression, Levi's arms both enveloped around West, tail tightening as well. Her claws gripped into the soft flesh of his back enough to print tiny crescents onto him, but not to draw blood. M'fine. Yer fine. Xiu n' Rex 're fine. Her voice went small, lips brushing his ear at one side. No 'mount'a silver would get me back'in thar without yew, West. Her own heart was racing as she pressed hard against the wrath demon, hugging him tightly with as much constriction as she could produce in this form.

Then Levi offered something to offset her embarrassingly intimate moment. All of this was just reminding her of what she told the other West and how much West might've been even more put off with her by it. The ghoul tried having her tone more energetic as per usual. So- did'ja miss me'at all? Releasing him, but keeping her hands resting over his shoulders again, Levi smiled brightly at the boil. Reckon it must'a been borin'round 'ere without me ta'play with, eh? No'fense, Master. The ghoul peered over to the scareon for a moment to see if she was awake, turning back to West and slowing rising off of him.

Sitting up on her knees, Levi leaned in, flickering a few straggling hairs from his face and kissing him on the forehead. Levi then sat back down; apparently she'd gotten comfortable where she was. Did'ja hit tha'gym? Anythin' fun happen?

"No, not mad." Frustrated. Uncomfortable. Teetering on the brink of blinding stupidity. He leaned into her hug, nuzzling her neck for as long as he could without being obvious. It didn't help. His fingers gripped her tighter when she moved away, inching farther up her back.

He grinned a lazy grin in response to her smile."I always miss you, even after I've jus' seen you." It was true that he hadn't gone looking for her during this latest absence, but that had never been their way. He knew she was strong enough to take care of herself. He didn't need to dote, even though he might have wanted to. Did he? When had that changed? Had he truly stopped wanting to hide, opening them both up to the vulnerability their relationship would bring once it was public, or was his sudden change of heart fueled by the fact that she was sitting on his lap. Then not sitting there. Then... sitting... there...

"Levi," he said, her name barely discernible from the tail end of his short sigh. There might have been more to that thought, but it was swallowed up by his unflappable need to be proper where her innocence was concerned. West grabbed at the threads of conversation floating about, his next reply far more gruff than his last had been. "Master... takes care a'herself. We don't play." At the sound of her name in her owner's clipped voice, the scareon cracked open one golden eye and stared at the pair. She yawned, flopped over onto her side and went back to sleep.

West tried again. "The gym? I guess I did... the usual stuff?" No, this wasn't going to work. His right hand left her warm skin and slid up to cup her cheek, fingers digging into her neck. "Levi. I don't wanna talk." He pulled her closer, lips meeting hers in an insistent kiss. The hand on her back slid ever higher, skimming beneath the hem of her shirt as if asking for an invitation. ******** proper. ******** fireworks. ******** kings and queens and crowns. ******** innocence.

Levi had words to say, but they became a simple hum within the kiss. A followup muffled sound was familiarly like that of the one she'd made in the past; once during that fight. The ghoul's primary senses dwindled in some ways in growing favor of the more prominent emotional incitements piling onto her that begged for her emotional responses in return. Oh, there was still sensory but a veil was placed over the ghoul, grouping them all together. His rusty metallic scent, his grip, his voice- they all became the reason for her numbing. Or was this feeling them even more? It was almost too much for the tatzel to think about; so she didn't.

It was obvious that West was asking something of her. The boil wanted something Levi was unsure she could provide. It wasn't that she didn't want to, but rather didn't know how to reciprocate with the same intensity. The wrath demon knew how to demand ask; how could she answer? Am I shaking? Don't fall apart, ghoul. Do I smell like Popcorn? Am I burning up? Or is he just colder than I am? Nah, he's not cold at all but- Oh Jack, he's- A physical alarm then sounded at that hand of his; it was still right there. Her breathing became shorter and more erratic; urgent. The ghoul shook involuntarily. Never had her body been so firm and desirably weak at the same time. The tatzel felt she might lose for him, whatever that meant.

Then just like that, the tatzel ghoul was ready to answer. At this moment, Levi made a point to lock eyes with West. Retrieving one hand from his back and weakly, at first, pressing it against his chest, Levi pushed into his sternum, away from the kiss. Rolling her hips and curling her spine, West's fingertips would greet skin just beyond the hem. He was the boil she'd chosen for her mate, but this was beyond her know-how. Tatzelwurms, more often than not, found mates through family. Once selected, they would take pins and go through ceremonial practices. Some time after, the two mated would be seen around town with a pumpkin. Oh, Levi knew of everything she'd learned in classes as far as conduct that existed between ghoulfriends and boilfriends, but faltered at execution and was derailing here from what she recognized as normal for her kin.

Levi simply needed to clarify that West knew what he was getting into. A lot of this would be placed on him at first. He would have to take the reigns till she could take them from him. Sliding her hand to his back again, Levi seemingly was bracing for something. She would be ready for it. The ghoul leaned in with a whisper, fully intending to reconnect with the demon via her lips at his neck. I-

TSSSSHHHHH~!!!

A sharp jab right where her tail met skin suddenly forced the tatzel's spine to align straight up. It hurt more so than such an attack usually would given she'd been completely at rest where she was. Turning to see what it was that had just attacked her, one of Levi's hands shot out, pointing at a critter scurrying along the floor and heading for West's closet. WHAT THA'HECK-?!

Something was watching them?! Was this some sort of a trick?

Her hum rattled West to his very bones and when she made that rare, lovely noise he hadn't realized he'd missed, the boil responded with a faint, low sound of his own, pulled from a place that hadn't been touched in a very long time. Maybe it wasn't all that long in the grand scheme of things, but for a being who had been alive for less than two decades, it seemed like an eternity.

West reveled in every quiver, fitting her tightly against him until she pushed him back. He really didn't want to presume that he could do whatever he liked for fear of scaring her away, but when he saw the look in her eyes, he knew permission was on its way anyway. He was just being forward thinking. Innovative. A trend setter. It was easy to shift his hands from her back to her sides, to slide them up, up, up as her breath ghosted in his ear, to brush a thumb along the underside of...

Levi's startled hiss sent a chill all the way to his FEAR core. West snatched his hands away, eyes wide as they struggled to focus on what she was pointing at.

A hellhunter. A jackdamned hellhunter.

The demon flopped onto his back again, a brief, hysterical giggle escaping him along with a series of breathy mumbles, some of which sounded suspiciously like the words three years. Master opened her eyes as she was jostled, leaning toward West's outstretched arm and swiping her tongue across his hand. The boil's entire body felt like it was made from a tingling mush, with the exception of several notable spots that didn't, and he had a powerful urge to kill every last animal on the face of Halloween. Slowly.

"It was a... doesn't matter," he said, drawing his arms close and crossing them over his wildly beating heart.

Her breathing was still short and fast, but gulping down the rush of adrenaline brought forth by the head-butting mini, this slowed to a more thought-promoting state. Her hands settled back down at her sides, allowing the wrath demon to fall away from her. The ghoul looked down at West wide-eyed while he laughed more irrationally than a were-hyena. What 'bout three years now? The tatzel wasn't certain that West had said that; best to ask to clarify.

She didn't want to move from where she was, but getting another surprise tackle was not going to be an option. Levi collapsed to the side of West, crawling up to lay her head on a pillow. Wriggling to get comfortable, the ghoul rested on her side, just staring. He was really a beautiful sight right now to her, just laying there open to any of her potential attacks. What sort of attacks could she even do? This wasn't like wrestling- was it? ... Nah. Body tingling, Levi reached out and over the boil for his far hand. Glancing down at the floor, she first tried to affirm that there were no minis nearby. Master was cool and all, but it was somewhat the same feeling of having others watching during private matters if those tiny eyes were on them. When it seemed like the Scareon had gone back to her own concerns, the ghoul continued.

West- Guiding back his hand to where he'd left off before disaster struck, Levi inhaled audibly, maintaining her eye contact with him before shutting them and arching her back slightly for convenience with a hum. Her tail never dropped his; it instead loosened and constricted to her own insistence as needed. Opening her eyes again, Levi wriggled even closer to the point where she shared his groove in the mattress. Knocking her forehead gently against West's, Levi's lips pecked at his before offering a quiet word. C'mon. This time, she was inviting him.

He probably should have panicked as a result of her question. At the very least he might have tried harder to lie, but West's sense of self-preservation was currently buried under a heap of prickly disappointment and had never really been that robust to begin with. In any case, he certainly wasn't going to give an actual answer, not right now at least.

"Nothin' importan'," he said, frowning faintly at the ceiling. "I promise."

At a loss for what to do now that their thin excuse for a mood had been obliterated, West kept peering upward, counting the weird plaster blobs that patterned his ceiling as his breathing slowed. When he felt Levi staring at him he turned, a question in his eyes as she nuzzled nearer and took his hand. He certainly wasn't objecting, but he had to wonder what she was thinking. Her earlier reaction to his rather selfish insistence had been gratifying, but frankly this was more West's style. The boil who fought so hard against being chained, but who loved to be led.

His name sounded sharper than usual as it dropped from her lips. It narrowed his focus to their hands and the feel of her yielding skin under his palm. A grin lifted the corners of his mouth as she closed her eyes and pressed closer. Nothing mattered beyond her body, her face, her arching. Maybe all of the hellhunters didn't have to die. Maybe they'd given him the chance to see that he hadn't really pushed her that hard at all, simply nudged her toward a discovery of her own. Maybe he didn't care. Levi kissed him briefly and he responded in kind, his eagerness tinging the action with an undercurrent of expectation.

Her invitation had arrived.

He moved his hand.
