She was told to move left but when she went to move left she was too slow, still not used to this particular pair of heels. So when the fist came her way it was by sheer instinct that she lifted an arm up to block the incoming fist, she wasn't about to let herself be struck in the face. Thrown off, her arm still up from blocking the punch, Delphi had no chance against the kick sent her way and landed on the ground. Surprise shown on her face as she rubbed at her abused side, where the others foot had landed.

Delphi was unaware of how her life might be in jeopardy more with one enemy, or group, than another. To her they really were all quite the same. "I'm female - I know kicks hurt more." She wore heels often and knew how much a kick with a good pair of heels could hurt. She'd seen some girls give a good foot stomping, with heels, as well.

Her hands pressed to the pavement as the page lifted herself up and climbed to her feet. Fighting wasn't her thing - never had been - but she brought her hand up to slap the other, she didn't even think she could make a proper fist to punch someone. There was no anger behind her attempt to slap the other, she wasn't angry at the senshi for putting her onto her a**, it was just her attempt at something.

Tsui was surprised that her attacks had landed, and she was more than ready to shower the Page with apologies until Delphi snapped at her. Tsui was taken back by her words, so much so that she completely dropped her guard and remained as she were, not once moving to help Delphi up. "W... what does being a female have to do with knowing kicks hurt more?"

It was an honest question. Even as a civilian, Tsui never really cared much for the idea of gender biasness and the stereotypes that came with them. She had always been a tomboy, Maddy as well (though a tad bit more girlish but never afraid to get her hands dirty), and she had never worn heels. It was confusing for Tsui to try to pinpoint the connection, so much that when Delphi rose a hand to slap her, the Eternal Senshi truly didn't see it coming.

She had been punched, kicked, even speared (twice), but nothing really seemed to make her head ring more than that slap to the face. Only one other person on her team had the nerve to slap her twice, and Tsui had let it pass, because even then, she knew she deserved those strikes. Here? Tsui was not only confused, but not she was downright angry, and the only thing that spared Delphi from an immediately retaliation was the very small grip on reality that this page was an ally, as Tsui stepped back and rubbed her cheek.

That wouldn't spare Delphi from the verbal retaliation, though. Only the physical. "Hey! Look, I'm sorry I knocked you down- it's not like I meant to do it on purpose! But do you really think the Negaverse or the Dark Mirror Court are going to take it easy on you just because you don't want to fight? I'm doing this for you, you know!"

The Tiger Senshi was known for her strength, her brash and energetic nature, but not so much her patience. She hadn't been this angry with another member of her court since the meeting, and those were feelings that Tsui wanted to lock away forever. Now that she was Eternal and she had the power to back up her words, she didn't want to regress back to that barbaric state... not against an ally.

"I've seen more females resrt to kicking people, perhaps it's simply my experience. But also I know how much a pair of heels can hurt when kicked with them." And that should really go without saying - heels hurt like hell. Delphi didn't think much about gender things and yet carried some of those thoughts within her, as shown just now, but it wasn't anything she actively thought on or pondered. It was observations and comments and not a thought given to them or that their were biased.

Now it was her turn to be surprised and shake her head. "You think I slapped you because you knocked me down?" She questioned and shook her head further. The little crystals hanging from her hair knocking into each other. "Would y ou prefer I punch you? I'd likely break a finger trying, or somehow hurt myself. I've never done more than slap or kick a person - or stomp on a foot with a pair of heels." She was no fighter and only knew, and had experience, with the most wimpy and, for lack of a better term, girly ways of fighting. Hair pulling, kicking, stomping with heels, and slapping. She had said she couldn't fight, hadn't she? Had this senshi thought she'd know how or what to do properly ,such as making a fist and punching someone? She also hadn't said there was anything off limits, such as slapping. So she'd gone with one of the few things she'd known.

Standing there she took a moment to figure out just how to word things before speaking again, she didn't need this to dissolve into a fight - or more of one than it already seemed to be dissolving into. "You didn't say I couldn't slap you and I told you I've never fought and am clueless. I didn't know there was a restriction on what we could do here so I went with what I know." And there might have been an apology there in the tone of her voice.

Tsui wasn't sure what to say in retaliation, as Delphi's reasoning seemed solid enough, but she was still too proud to admit to it just yet. She rubbed her cheek for a moment more, considering what she could say to help diffuse the situation, even though her anger was still boiling hot within her. Eventually, she felt calm enough to address the page, though there was still a hint of edge in her voice. "No, there aren't any restrictions. I just... didn't expect you to slap me, that's all. Most go for punches, kicks, or magic, or their weapons, if they don't have. Slaps don't happen that often in the fight."

That, and slaps felt more personal to Tsui. Punches and kicks she could prepare for, or dodge. Slaps? It just really rubbed her the wrong way, and Tsui couldn't quite put her finger on it. Whether it eased tension or not, Tsui didn't want to dwell on it, and she was quick to fall back into a combative stance. "Okay, I'll give you that one. Slaps are perfectly acceptable in a fight. Hell, you might even catch them completely off guard with it, so I'd say go for it in the future if you're dragged into a fight."

And just like that, Tsui was eager to get back into practicing, the sting on her cheek and her pride finally dying away, and she held no anger or tension towards Delphi (outwardly, anyway) as she motioned for the page to return to the defensive. "You ready to go at it again?"

"Magic...with this little toy?" Holding up said toy, though it was considered a weapon of sorts. "If I poked you it might break." She stated rather blandly, making a face at the little scepter she held. It really did look like something a small child would have in a game of Princess. "Kicking I can do, if you want." But punching - no. She was sure she'd hurt herself more than anything. In fact she was sure she shouldn't even try, at least not without knowing how to make a fist properly.

She'd once known someone in school, they didn't talk any more, who had told her she couldn't make a proper fist. She'd been remaking on a fight he'd gotten into, in the hallway, and had made a fist and jabbed it at the air only for him to laugh and tell her that and more. He'd laughed when she'd asked why she'd ever want to know? She had no intention of ever fighting - unlike him. He'd laughed and called her a princess, not the sort of person to ever get her hands dirty. The teasing had ended that friendship and fast. As he'd continued to call her princess, and joke (in what he thought was a friendly manner) about her opinion on fighting, any time he saw her in school.

"If it catches them off guard that would be good." It could afford her time to put distance between herself and them. She really didn't like the idea of not being able to get away from a fight, she didn't like to fight!

"I am but first..I guess I should learn to make a fist so I can throw a punch?" She really didn't like asking, didn't want to know. But she knew she needed to know how to actually defend herself and while defensive was great she might as well learn offensive in case it ever came down to that or her life.

"You'll be surprised how much magic you've got when your weapon evolves," Tsui said, pointing to the same weapon that Delphi had called a toy but not thinking ill of her for that mindset. In truth, Tsui felt that it wasn't fair at all that Negaverse officers gained actual offensive weapons when they ranked up while, to Tsui's knowledge, knights remained rather toy like, but then again, wasn't magic suppose to make up for that? She wondered, for a moment, what Sutai's weapon would have evolved into once she ranked up and what magic she would have, but she forced herself to focus on Delphi as the other page of Polaris kept talking. When she asked how to properly make a fist, Tsui tried her hardest not to want to laugh.

It seemed like such a simple thing to do, and she looked at her own hand and made a fist, suddenly questioning herself if she was doing it right at all. No, she was, but the important matter wasn't how to make a fist, but how to throw a punch without hurting yourself in the process. Tsui figured that had to have been what Delphi meant, and she tried to recall her brief boxing lessons with Jett. When it came to boxing and fist to fist, he was an expert...

Unfortunately, he wasn't here, and Tsui had to admit that she was still learning, but still, it didn't take a genius or boxing wiz to figure out something as simple as making a fist or throwing a punch. "Well, the important thing to remember is to curl your fist- I don't have any fingernails, so it's real easy for me. See, like this."

She held her balled fist for Delphi to see, as she explained, "Anyone can throw a punch, but you have to think about where you're aiming and what you want to hit. Never go for the jaw. It's too strong a bone and you'll break your hand trying to deck someone. Aim for the cheek instead."

She pointed to her own, the spot to aim for instead. "Or go for the arms here- it'll sting and likely stun them from using that arm for a bit if you hit hard enough, but avoid the shoulder. You got it?"

Tsui was awfully close, and the thought of Delphi going in to demonstrate her tactics had not crossed her mind. Given how much she admitted to not wanting to fight, she was certain that the page wouldn't take a moment to capitalize on the lesson, physically.

"When it evolves, right now I doubt it could do a thing." Aside from maybe upset a small child if she were to poke them with it enough, or maybe hit them gently. She really hadn't much of a clue that this little toy scepter would become more than it was, much less something that would help her in a fight and keep her alive, how could she? It really looked rather pathetic truth be told.

It had been what she'd meant, how to make a proper fist and how to properly throw a punch were similar. If either one was wrong you got hurt, and Delphi was sure she'd get hurt. She already knew she couldn't make a proper fist so throwing a punch would hurt. If she got into a pinch she supposed it was best to know, as much as she hated the idea of fighting and would avoid it, as it seemed she may not be able to avoid it in the future. "I don't either...." Displaying the rounded, but short, fingernails she possessed. She wasn't about to spend money on her nails - have you seen the prices?! And caring for them on her own wasn't easy, they didn't all grow the same length, they bent, chipped, and the sound of a nail file was like nails on a chalk board for her. She kept them neatly clipped short and then would rub them against a desk top to smooth them.

"Alright, so no jaw and no shoulder. I really would like to avoid injuring myself." If she actually had to fight she really would like to avoid hurting herself. Holding one hand up, her right, she fisted her hand hoping it worked. Only her thumb was tucked in and her knuckles stuck out.

Tsui was right though, she didn't go to strike her. She rather waited to see how bad her fist was and correct it. She had tried to mimic the other but was sure she had missed something. It hadn't felt right when mimicking the other and this felt comfortable but was it completely wrong? She wouldn't strike tills he knew things were right, not to mention she really didn't like fighting or violence.

When it came to creativity, Tsui was no MacGuyver, but she could think of at least one thing that Delphi's weapon could do. "Well, it might not be much, but you can always pop someone in the head with it if you're worried about hurting your hand. Or jam it in their eye, if it boils down to desperation."

Tsui had to remind herself that Delphi wasn't violent, nor was she likely to do something like that. She was certain that the page thought her to be barbaric now, but the Tiger Senshi tried not to dwell too much on what others thought of her. Maybe her methods were barbaric, but she'd do anything to keep members of her court safe...

She kept this in mind, as she looked down at Delphi's fist to see if she was doing it correctly. Everything seemed alright from Tsui's view, but then again, Tsui didn't think about the proper way to make a fist when she threw a punch at the enemy. When you were in the heat of battle, it was just something that one didn't think about. And Delphi looked like she had a good fist, if she'd just get over her pacifistic ways and stand her ground. "Looks good to me, though if you're really against punching, you can always resort to slapping instead. They sting like hell and it'll definitely keep them off guard. And kicking too. So, don't worry too much about punching, unless those two don't work out for you."

She had the feeling that Delphi wasn't going to be pushed much further, and she tried not to judge her poorly for it. Some people weren't meant for fighting, simple as that, and it wouldn't do much good for people like Tsui to keep pushing them. Delphi seemed to have a solid head on her shoulders and would surely run if the situation arose, and sometimes, that would have to do. "Do you want to continue or should we think about calling it a night? I don't want to push you too hard, especially when you're not wanting to get your hands dirty."

"I had thought about hitting them, though I wonder if this might do more damage to itself. I hadn't considered the eye." People often said girls who got into fights went for hair and eyes and clawed at each other. The thought of ever going after a squishy eye, touching a persons eye (with how wet it was and it's texture), was a huge turn off to her. She never liked the thought of that, anything involving the eye and penetrating it, doing damage to it, or anything like that made her stomach turn. The only exception was contacts, though it was also something she'd never consider for herself if she ever needed glasses, for other people.

The methods, at least the idea of going for someones eye, was gruesome but to each their own? She supposed that was the best she could think about that. She couldn't hold something against another person when it was who they were and considering the circumstances here...no - she couldn't hold the others opinions against her nor would she. But she would always remember these things about the tiger senshi. It was good to know and keep in mind. This senshi could fight and would certainly do so without hesitation, or so it seemed to her.

Even though she didn't trust peoples answers to questions she had to ask it anyway. "You won't think any less of me if I call it a night early? I don't want to end this, I mean I'd like to arrange another night like this. I need to learn what I can handle." And she knew it. "I can power down now?" She asked this hoping it was safe to do so.

Tsui liked to think that she wasn't too judgmental in such cases, but it was human nature to judge others, even if they kept the thoughts to themselves. When Delphi showed reluctance to go for the eyes, she couldn't blame her, really. Going for the eye or genitalia was a last resort, even for Tsui, and she didn't want to admit to the other girl that the thought of permanently damaging another person's eye was a little too gruesome, even for her. She had a reputation to keep up, after all!

And truly, she didn't think too poorly of Delphi for wanting to call it a night- Tsui already had a full night's work before Delphi ever arrived and she wasn't quite sure how much longer her temper would hold out if the page kept trying to resist. Perhaps some people just weren't meant for fighting, and at least Delphi seemed wise enough to know how to spot trouble and leave instead of making the matters worse, and Tsui could respect that foresight.

So, no, she didn't think poorly of Delphi for wanting to call it quits, and she hoped none of that reflected in her voice as she flashed the page a genuine smile. "No, I don't think it'll do either of us good to push you anymore tonight. So yeah, you can call it quits if you'd like."

When she asked to power down, though, Tsui was cautious, and she gave a few looks around to see if there were anyone else in the area. She didn't feel any chaos auras nearby, and her eyes didn't see any sign of civilians, or even any animals that would give away their secret. Still, better safe than sorry, and Tsui motioned for Delphi to follow her back into the abandoned building. "You can, but it's best to keep out and away from open areas when you do that. Heaven knows I could have blown my cover a few times."

She had powered down before many of her allies and considered herself lucky. Now that she was used to this kind of business, she understood the need for such secrecy. "You can power down in here. It's safe, trust me!"

"I hadn't felt anyone, though I'm sure your senses are better than mine." Hence why she'd also asked. As the other had led them into the safety of the abandoned building the page's uniform melted away and left behind, for the senshi of tigers, a familiar long haired figure. Dressed for a normal night out Winterlynn stood there glancing around the abandoned place. She didn't think, or know, if the other would want her to see who they were as a civilian so she was keeping her eyes else where. She didn't care if someone on this side knew...they didn't know her name or where she lived so she felt safe enough.

"I'm not cut out for this - I know it. But I need to learn to protect myself, and not just because of this war." A heeled boot tapped the ground below as she spoke. Her long hair moving much like a tail would as her head moved about.

"We can discuss a meeting time soon, we can exchange numbers, so we can plan something out."

"Not many are cut out for it, at first, but it's nothing to be ashamed of," Tsui said. Admittedly, Tsui had her back turned when Delphi powered down, and the sudden familiarity of her voice was what made her turn around to face her. There, standing behind her, was Winterlynn, and once again, Tsui's bad poker face shone through, and suddenly, all of the tension and anxieties of their training session was gone from her mind. So much so that what she said didn't register in her mind, as she addressed the person that had helped her get the perfect gift for Anandi!

"Winterlynn... I don't believe it! I had no idea it was you the whole time!" Tsui said, approaching the girl that she had once mistaken for her sister without thinking. It wasn't until she was literally standing before her that she realized that she couldn't have recognized her, and with a nervous chuckle, she dehenshined, revealing her civilian identity to her in hopes of chasing away that gloom she saw in her friend. "Remember me? Gwendolyn, the girl you helped during the holidays? She really loved the gift, by the way..."

She wasn't sure if Winterlynn would remember- after all, she likely helped a LOT of people during the holidays, and as unique as she liked to think her hair was, she could only imagine how difficult it'd be for someone to remember a single person in the crowd. "I had no idea you were a page! Had I known, I would have been more lenient on you... oh, great, now you think I'm a ruffian, huh? Well... I guess if the shoe fits?"

Now it went from being awesome to awkward, but Gwen tried to roll with it. Now that their civilian identities were known to each other, it certainly made future planning much easier. "At least we have each others' numbers now, so that's one problem taken care of. I'm sorry if I was a little harsh on you, Winterlynn... I take this whole Senshi duty very seriously, as you can already see."

This person knew her? She supposed it could be. After all they all were dressed differently like this, though how someone would recognize her inside that uniform and out of it she wasn't sure. But it seemed that this was the case, a good thing too really. But who was this? Moments later, with the girl right in her face, it was answered for her.

"Of course I remember you. She did? I'm glad, and the dolphin gift as well?" She asked as she thought of the other gift the girl had gotten for someone else. She may have helped a lot of people during the holidays, too many to count, but she did remember most of them and more importantly, at times, she remembered what they bought. It was good to have a good memory, which she worked on maintaining, with a job like hers and seeing the amount of people she did at times.

"It's a new thing, this." She said without saying it. This whole powered up thing was new to her. "I may but to each their own in this case I suppose. I've never been a fighter and I can't hold wanting to survive against a person." It was human nature to want to survive, even she was willing to learn self defense in order to survive this. "I can tell you do. And it does make things easier. Perhaps we should, considering this all, get together for tea, or coffee." Something nice and hot to drink and get to know each other. She would need to know others and learn what she could about all of this.

"Yup- Maddy loved it! She'd wear it to work if they allowed it, she told me. So thank you a lot for that!" Gwen felt that she had a firm grasp on the whole Senshi, Pages and secret identity thing, but every now and then, she found herself taken completely by surprise. People who she met once but lingered in her memory turning out to be similar to her? It was certainly better than her transforming back and her not recognizing her, she supposed, though now it meant that Winterlynn had seen a side of her that might have now put her in a negative light, but what could Gwen do about that?

She liked being a senshi and all of the hard work that went with it. She couldn't deny it, and nor would she. She simply had to convince Winterlynn that things weren't so bad and that there were other ways of helping them in this war that didn't involve combat. A hard task, given that's all that Eternal Sailor Tsui was good for, but she could at least point her in the right direction of someone that could help her out.

"Not one for tea or coffee, but I'd like to hang out anyway," Gwen said with a smile, having tried both and simply not impressed with either. For her, it was soda, or water. Still, such a minor thing, compared to the topic of being a warrior for Order and such. "We can talk more about it then, but don't worry. There's plenty of things that the White Moon Court needs besides fighters... maybe you can pick up on the scholarly side of things and plot out strategies instead? Not much fighting there, and heaven knows we need people that can think things through."

Not that Gwen did much of that, nor Tsui, but she had a feeling that with the likes of Sutai and now Delphi, she'd at least be going into a fight with some kind of strategy (assuming she could overcome her stubbornness to listen). Maybe she needed someone like Winterlynn to keep her grounded from time to time? Gwen was willing to try. "But you did pretty good tonight, so I think you'll be fine in the long run. I'd tell you to be careful on your way back home, but I'm sure you'll be fine, right? Anyone tries anything funny, you can always give them a good slap to the face and a heel to the toe, right?"

"Your not?" She asked. Most people seemed to go for one or the other drink option, especially in the cold. "Hot chocolate perhaps?" Was that her thing? It could easily be, some people did prefer it to either caffeinated drink options.

"I'm glad she liked it, it's a shame she can't wear it to work...but where does she work that she can't wear it?" What sort of job didn't allow for jewelry to be worn, or certain pieces. She would think most jobs would, hers especially since she was something like a walking/talking advertisement. But she had to wonder about this, didn't places want their workers looking their best? And for females that should include jewelry, at least for most females. But that was perhaps just her love for it speaking those thoughts. She did, and always had, had a fondness for jewelry with it's shining stones and the precious metals. It had captured her attention as a young child.

"Wait...there are needs for that? I mean this doesn't, from what you see on tv, seem like the sort of war to have such a need." That she could do, if she read up and thought about tactics. it was easier than actually fighting. It would keep her in a safe, comfortable, area.

Laughing she nodded her head. "Yes, that I can do. I'll be sure to be safe on my way home. You can call me and we can arrange a time to go out for something to drink. You can bring your girlfriend as well if you'd like - if it's safe." If she knew. "I really need to get going now." It was an honest smile she gave the other before she turned and took off for home. She had things to think on and a slowly forming new opinion on things, or at least some of the people. It would still take time with Winterlynn being as stubborn, and unforgiving, as she could be.
