She watched silently as Mimi disappeared. One thing was for sure was that Meru was going to take in what Mimi said and tried to put some use into them. Meru knew that Mimi would eventually meet others of Chaos she could borrow the shoulder of, but at least Mimi had Meru for now. “I’ll do my best to take care of myself, but I hope you do too.

Meru started out jogging as she made her way back to her house. Eventually she was running. After that, she made her first attempt to jump onto a roof, her own roof, and was surprised that she could do it so easily. Sure, she was in shape even as Leonora, but it surprised her that it came so easily. Not wanting to arouse suspicion, Meru made sure that no one was looking before she scrambled her way across the roof and landed in the backyard. Luckily everything was quiet and she had time to herself.

I wonder how I turn back into Leonora…” She thought about it over and over again. The only logical thing that she could think of was to think it away. It made sense since it didn’t seem like she could just change clothes or take of her ring and bracelet. Meru stood there, thinking her clothes away as well as the ring and bracelet. It took a bit of time, but eventually they disappeared and she became Leonora again.

Just to test, Leonora thought of her ring and bracelet with its simple beauty. There it was, eventually back on her right hand. It caused her to smile, happy that she knew how to control something as simple as that. She willed it away though, and instead fished for her house keys.

She thought aloud as she opened the back door to her home. “What does the world have in store for me now?”
