Keres slowly tilted her head looking at the stallion, to her the talons were not in the least bit oversized as he may have said. They were talons none the less and to her she assumed they were normal? As for the small spines on his back, they were seemingly normal to her. Though she had yet to see every soquili that grace the lands and merely assumed that they were just merely traits of the harpy breeds.
“I see, I did not know. I assumed.. in which I should not have assumed it was rude of me. I did assume that they were normal talons and traits of the harpies I am sorry.” She replied as one of the spirits rubbed across her neck. He continued his voice sounded as if there was something more that bothered him then just the talons, and his brother sounding in a way less interesting then he had. One of the other spirits wrapped around her ears whispering a few words.
“Oh… yes thank you… for the compliment on my name and for wanting to remember it most tend to forget it.” She replied giving him a small nod. “I have not met your brother so I could not judge if he was sweeter in appearance than you. I do know to me, even if this means little to you that you do not looking cursed or twisted. I am sorry if I do not see this.”

Griever felt a wave of relief pass him; the young male harpy looked around the forest studying it a bit. He knew he had traveled further away from home in which that meant he was on the right path of figuring himself out; at least he had hoped it did. He looked back at her “Well thank you for the kind words. So are you heading anywhere?” he asked her. Griever was curious and wanted to know more about the mare. He has met so many different soquili in his travels and she seemed different compared to the rest.
he harpy remained silent waiting for her to reply. He wondered if she would tell him, would she trust him? Could anyone trust him? She obviously was not the judgmental type and could look right through him ignoring his spines and talons.

Keres looked at the moon, it was a large orb floating in the dark colored sky. She wanted to imagine that she came from there, as a foal that was. When she was younger she would look at her deep purple coat and look at the sky imagining that she was its child. However the spirits told her it was a stupid dream. Completely insane to think that something a live could really come from the sky.
The voice that wrapped itself around her ears whispered again its voice sounding like the tinkling of small bells.
“You are more than welcome, however what I said is merely the truth.” She replied looking at him again, giving a short nod.
“I am not really heading in any direction. Merely moving a long to one place or another, I mean I am not unwilling to tell you were I am going. Nor do I want to be rude, I really just head wherever I feel the need to walk. One day it is north another day it is west.” As she spoke she hoped that her words would not offend. It was rare to hold conversation, let alone to make anyone interested in her and what she did and she didn’t want to chase that away.

“You just pick a direction and go? That’s interesting.” He sounded fascinated by her way of living. He felt that is what he was doing now. Just going wherever he felt like going and hoping to find something to fill the hole he felt inside. He was starting to believe that there was nothing out there for him but now he started to believe there really has to be something out there for him! Any regrets he had for leaving his family slowly slipping away from him.
He looked to her “I’m going nowhere as well. Would you mind my company as we walk to nowhere?” he asked her, curious in her answer.

Intresting, Keres thought as she looked at him before looking up at the sky again. She had always felt that her mere wandering was sort of useless in a unbeneficial way? Like she could have mapped out to where she would each day that she would see all the lands but she hadn’t. Instead she would at times cross over a path she had traveled before, however things were never the same. There would be others who would appear, even at times they would be a different season.
“You are more than welcome to join me if you wish. I certainly would not object to any company different from my spirits.” She replied giving a somewhat faint smile. “Which direction would you like to go?”

He seemed overjoyed by her answer and he looked around trying to figure out which direction they should go. Griever wasn’t one that had a direction he just picked a way and headed that way. The stallion blinked his eyes and turned to the west. It seemed quiet and possibly safe? He did not want to lead them in to skinwalker territory or something of the sort “Will the west be alright? I’m afraid I know little of these parts.” He asked her.

Keres gave him a faint smile as he seemed a little worried, "West is acceptable. We don't really know until we go. That is sort of the adventure of going wherever and never knowing what will be there."
Keres took a few steps in the direction, "the worse that can happen is we run into something dangerous and we do our best to escape from it." Really Keres had not run into anything dangerous or at least nothing that seemed to want to harm her. Usually others feared her, she bore the appearance of something unearthly and rather something to be feared, or even worse something of another ghostly world.

“Alright then, west it is!” He beamed while turning to head towards the direction. Griever was not expecting his journey to take a good course so soon. He in fact felt he would spend many lonely days wondering if he would ever find the sort of company that would make him feel at ease with his appearance. His pupil-less eyes shifted his gaze towards the mare as he studied her more. There would be perils and he would likely be less threatening then most stallion’s out there but he would do all he could to protect his traveling partner.
He gave a light nod “Heh, we will run like hell when the time comes.” He darkly thought about the kalona from his past. Would he ever run in to that stallion again? He could only hope that he would never see his face again.
