"They sound like the Heartless from Kingdom Hearts." Heidi mused as she watched the creatures almost completely tear apart Marcus' walls. Her eyes widened. That poor golem! Did they feel pain? Heidi watched nervously as the creatures swarmed her own walls, sighing with relief when they still stood after their onslaught and Princess Eva was unharmed. Marcus snorted. "Yeah well, I dunno about that, only that they are a pain in the a**." Rebuilding his walls in a few ways, Marcus looked to the two he just... A shrug he waved it off. "Reason as to why I tend to stick as a guy who works in teams rather than solo. Solo I do well on my own time. Plus manuals help. "I don't mind reading..." Heidi shrugged, using brick for her walls again. It was like the Three Little Pigs, the pig with the brick house was the most logical. The wolf couldn't knock that sucker down. Plus she kind of wanted to impress the Hunter on her first try at this thing. It'd look good if she did well, right? Even if this was practice you should still give it your all. All in all her walls looked pretty good! Not too shabby, not tooooo shabby~. "Okay, I'm ready! Bring it on!" A small nod from Marcus, he followed up the path, pausing to look at his rather sad wall. Well, he tried. "A moon hunter is always ready, always prepared. You have to be, unless you prefer a lot of pain.. or worse." Button pressed he watched, wincing as the walls were attacked, almost laughing as his one dinky wall withstood the assault. Who preferred pain? Geeze. Heidi said nothing on that but she did take the advice to heart. Always be prepared. Got it. One of her walls was completely obliterated and she winced as Princess Eva cried with pain, but the rest held up just fine. She sighed with relief. "She's alive~. Marcus paused as he made his way back to the booth. "I tend to draw out the death, the golems end up scrapped a lot of the time anyway. But, see how long I can go. You only need 3 rounds to pass, though 5 is preferred." He gave a look to his own little walls before letting slip the shadowlings of war. And watched his princess get eaten. "....It's good to show empathy, but in training don't let it get to you. Even on the field we have to be able to focus. Balance when it's better to retreat then push your luck." HP: DED

Draw out their deaths? But why? Maybe this was one of those things she had to get used to. It would take time. "What happens after five? "I wish." Marcus laughed, even as they swarmed Heidi's princess. "Nah, it's just sort of a typical standard. Like, 3 rounds is a C, 4 a B, 5 is an A. Anything over and you're just going into hardcore mode. We can stop if you want, but mostly its go until you have to stop. Eventually you learn about tactical retreats and carries and a bunch of other useful stuff. Like last round would, had this been a real situation, I would have picked up the 'princess' and run. At that point there would have been to great a risk for no reward. But this is training, and I wanted to see how well what I had would stand up." He motioned to the field. "Your call."

So he did it to see how his walls would hold up... Heidi hummed thoughtfully. His princess was dead and hers was looking worse for wear. She didn't want to kill her but..she did want to see if maybe just one more round would be okay. "I'll try it one more time.." She got back down to meet up with her princess, giving Eva a smile. "Sorry about this. Just one more try." The princess golem gave her a warm smile. That one wall just did not want to stay standing strong. Maybe it was the ground beneath it or something. Sigh. Heidi closed her eyes as she hit the start button, not wanting to watch the walls get destroyed or to witness her princess' inevitable destruction. ...There were no screams of suffering. When she looked up again, one wall had been completely destroyed but her princess was still standing. "My hero~!" She sang out, giving Heidi the most grateful look. Heidi cheered. She jumped, clapped, squealed and did a happy victory dance. "I did it! Marcus, look! I did it!" Aw yeah! First try! Heck yeaaaah!
