>To be on canvas when you think of it!!

Landon looked at the tall boy who bent down to his level. The boy seemed kind, and gentle. Though when he mentioned little boy Landon blushed with embarrassment "Oh my dear boy! I'm sorry to correct you but I'm a teacher here, I'm the Visual arts teacher to be in fact." He said in a shy matter. He got his bags out of the way of the boys way and smiled "But I do ever so kindly thank you for considering my presence, it's not everyday you meet such kind people. I'm Mr. Marks by the way but! You can call me Landon child. Also if you can ever be so nice as too help me with my bags of materials I would be so ever in your debt!" He said trying to carry some of his bags. Unfortunately to no avail. "Whats your name kind sir?" He said in a soft tune.

John was shocked when the boy spoke and he looked shocked, since his jaw dropped. "Oh, right. Yes, I can help you with your bags. Sorry, I...I just assumed that you were. Anyway, my name's John.". Said John, as he straightened up and grabbed Mr. Mark's bag. He wasn't sure if he should call him Landon or Mr. Mark. Since, John wasn't ever going to be taking any art classes he decided he would call the guy Landon. Especially since the kid was two whole feet smaller then him. Was this child or just a very small adult?

John wasn't sure if he should ask about the age. He decided he would just ask where the guy was heading. He did find it amusing the short stop was calling him a kid. "So where are you heading Landon. Some art room? I know my place around this Academy pretty well. It's my sixth year, I'm going to be graduating soon. But that's a different story for another time. So do you like books? I'm a writer, that's my specialty." John smiled as he talked, although he didn't still know the guy's age. He still acted like he would around a child. Just in case, he didn't want to scare Landon off.

Landon smiled at John "John hmm? What a magnificent name, also thank you ever so much for assisting me and yes just follow me!" Landon walked about a few floors and arrived to the art room. "It's been renovated since the Visual arts room has been used a lot...I'm the new teacher like I said." Landon bowed at John and took the bag from him and put it near the clean, sterile bright desk. He went to John and chuckled. "Also yes I am very fond of literature, my grandfather was a novelist his name was Monroe Marks. Though he only wrote tragedies and horror some of it involved romances but I am not sure. Another note since I am new maybe whenever your free you can take me on a tour of this place...I-I Mean only if you want!!...umm." He said as he lightly blushed, he felt that he had consumed so much of Johns time but shook his head and smiled. "Oh by the way! I know I am petite and look like a child but I'm actually 26 years old, I have a rare condition you see so I never grew past the look of a 10 year old. It's alright though if you got confused I completely understand!" Landon went to his bag and took out his driver license were all his physical info was printed on. "You can still call me Landon John I don't mind at all!" He said with an innocent smile.

John was surprised this boy seemed to read his thoughts. But he listened intently as he walked. Once they arrived John set down the art supplies on the nearest table. He then examined the newly renovated room. It was nice and a part of John regretted he did not know how to draw. John was admiring the art work on the walls when Landon asked John about the tours. If John didn't know any better the kid, well adult who looked like a child was asking to hang out. John smiled and said, "Sure I don't mind. In fact if your ever free we can grab lunch together some time." Said John, he didn't mind being friends with this small but cute art teacher.

When Landon mentioned his grandfather John almost screamed like a fan girl from excitement. "No way! I love Mr. Marks. I read all his books. His use of imagery and personification is something to revival Robert Frost! Of course Marks doesn't receive nearly as much credit as he deserves. Too many critics think recent authorship is too repetitive. But I don't believe that. I wrote an entire scholarly paper on Mr. Mark's book How the Wind Blows. Anyway I will see you around Landon. I have to get to class, before I'm late. Bye! Pleasure meeting you." Said John, with one last wave goodbye. He left the classroom then and looked around. Should he grab breakfast are just run to class?

my love is better

Often I’m told I need to clean up my act
Although maturity is something I lack
And so when some simple little problems arise
I overthink them, over and over again

"Very nice to make your acquaintance Miss Konjo." the blonde said. Her sapphire orbs seemed indifferent and the way she spoke was very... aloof. Miss Amaryllis here reminded Maria much of herself, actually. But there was one thing Maria found that seperated the two, one thing that she held above all else. "It's understandable. Loving your family is understandable." Amaryllis spoke again, circling the wind with her finger.

"My love is different." Maria responded quickly, almost snapping at the other girl. The love she held for her brother was much of a fixation, consuming all of her thoughts, driving her to do everything and anything she possibly could. Where did this unhealthy infatuation come from? Maria did not know, nor did she care. All she wanted was for her brother to be hers, only hers, and forever in her grip. "My love is stronger." Maria continued, her now maroon eyes expressed her ego quite clearly behind the silver frames; her expression, however, remained neutral. Speaking with her eyes, that's what the black haired maiden did for she wasn't ever adept in expressing her emotions through her tone or facial expressions. And by this habit, she was able to read other's by their eyes, quickly becoming keen in seeing how her peers really felt, not that she cared though.

" Can you mimic the sounds of nature through your instrument? "

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

━━━━━━Amaryllis stopped as she drew a semi-circle in the wind, hearing what the girl responded with. What a passion she held toward her brother, a passion that Amaryllis could not comprehend as the young blonde closed her eyes and sighed. "How can it be different." she asked, no--- really just stated, "You love one of your family members, that is all. There is nothing more to---" Amaryllis then remembered who she was talking to and then cleared her throat, her golden locks being thrown in front of her once again as the wind made its way. Why did Amaryllis snap back like that? She must have been tired she thought, she must not be thinking straight, maybe she had been like this because she had just finished playing. This was quite interesting. But not enough to really capture her full attention, for Amaryllis still partly gave some to the whispers of the wind. She gave a slight smirk as she looked up at the young woman.

━━━━━━"I sincerely apologize for my rudeness. Of course I cannot comprehend this love that you bear, I was born an only child." Amaryllis said, her eyes telling a different story, one that never really gave a damn, and she wasn't afraid of how the girl saw through it. What Amaryllis said would be the ones standing trial when she would get in trouble in a business type of way. Not eyes, not feelings. Those were irrelevant, and feelings she only used to emanate the sound from her violin. "Of course you must love him. That is quite wonderful. I am elated for you." She bowed as she said this and then looked up at the sky. Ah, from what she could see, she should be getting to class. It was quite late, at least, for her. Her assumption was validated as she looked at her watch, pulling down the sleeve with her other finger that did not have the job of carrying her violin. "And it seems I must get going now, I would love to stay and exchange words with you," she started, turning around, carefully sliding some of her blonde hair back, "but I'm afraid I don't have the time." Amaryllis then started to walk away from Maria just like before. Hopefully, she wouldn't be called or swayed to stop and turn back around like before.

"How can it be different." Amaryllis snapped back at Maria, whose scarelet eyes only returned a scowl. "You love one of your family members, that is all. There is nothing more to---" the blonde stopped, as if realizing what she was doing, then cleared her throat. Maria inspected this action, by the way the violinist acted it seemed as if expressing her thoughts the way she just did was unusual for her. A sense of delight came to Maria, amused that she was able to hit such a nerve in Amaryllis. "I sincerely apologize for my rudeness." the blonde expressed, "Of course I cannot comprehend this love that you bear, I was born an only child."

"How unfavorable." Maria responded quickly, her voice insipid. Maria could see in the girl's stormy sapphires that she could care less of the crimson-eyed girl's complex. Contrast to Amaryllis' moons, Maria's rubies grew bright once again as her interest in the stranger spiked.

"Of course you must love him." Amaryllis spoke again, bowing. "That is quite wonderful. I am elated for you." Her orbs focused their attention on the sky that domed them before checking her watch, "And it seems I must get going now, I would love to stay and exchange words with you," she said, preparing for her departure, "but I'm afraid I don't have the time."

"It's understandable." Maria replied after the girl watching the blonde's back as she exited the scene. A small sigh escaped her soft pink lips as she, too, began to exit the peaceful courtyard.

Morticai Piper Jameson

Pip just call me Pip
Writing: Jesus im late..
Singing: Styrofoam Plates: Death Cab for Cutie
Acting: Excited, Anxious

Morticai ran, as though he were running for his very life, headphones threatening to abandon him and cast him into the mess of cluttered noises erupting from the emptying hallway. Locker's slamming shut and shoes shuffling across marble floor. Twisting of faces, couple's secretly mingling in corners their pecks and nibbles echoing to their content.

Piper rushed past the music class, shutting his eyes tight, longing to shut out the desire to be there along with them. But his parent's only exception to letting him join art school, was that he had to study vigorously the art of literature. He didn't mind it at all, for the subject was fascinating down to the core, and Pip was such a devoted writer. He just wished that he could study some of his other passions for a little while. Like theatre and music!

Morticai stopped short, for only a moment, to ponder on the collision before him. Women, could any of them manage five steps without some sort of accident? Piper was just glad it wasn't him in that wreck. How embarrassing that would be! He straightened his bow tie and smiled. So maybe it wasn't a female thing...just an art student thing

Art Student...the words filled Piper with such happiness he could just about burst! Containment behind bones were all that kept the male from doing just that. He often let out the built up excitement in music. Singing at the top of his lungs and pressing limbs against walls to jot down sentences onto paper, jumbled words that made hardly any sense until morphed into a genius piece of creative writing. Creative writing. That was his subject of expertise, so claims his applications.

" Can you mimic the sounds of nature through your instrument? "

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

━━━━━━Amaryllis kept walking straight forward, away from the place where she wish she could stay forever. This Maria interested her, she seemed to be the type who could easily be swayed, seeing her ability to tell people her weakness so easily without second thought. Maybe she would speak to her more this year. It would benefit Amaryllis in more ways than one. Amaryllis though had other things in mind besides that, counting the fact that she would have only a few more years before her violin would be taken away from her. Of course, this was inevitable. One day she was to part with her dreams and walk straight forward with family business in hand instead of the violin case that she had now. That was the deal. Her eyes looked down as she walked, was this really fair? That was the question that stuck in her head each time she left that spot of grass. She moved her hand to her face so she could block the sun from her eyes when she exited the grove of trees, but then removed her arm when she became used to the harmful rays of the sun. Her blonde hair moved with the wind as she went through the two double-doors. It would be school once more.

━━━━━━Amaryllis then walked through the hallways, not noticing that she had left one of the zippers on her bag open, now bouncing as she walked proudly through, just as her blonde locks did as she took each step. Everyone stared at her, of course, but she had better things to do than return their stares, she had to get to class. But when she passed by one of the windows, not realizing that her bag was open, as well as the window itself, a breeze blew by her, and a piece of paper flew out in her opposite direction. Hm? What was that piece of paper you ask? Well, its the one piece of music that the man gave her, it was the one piece of music that she first learned with that instrument. Amaryllis stopped right there, her eyes showing the first emotion that no one had ever seen: surprise as she started to run toward the piece of paper after hurriedly zipping up the open hole in her bag.

━━━━━━Amaryllis climbed up the stairs and ran through several halls with the same open windows, allowing the paper to roam freely. She started to breathe heavily, not being used to this physical labor, and the wall she put up with her eyes started to lower more, showing anxiety and want rather than calmness and indifference. This paper was free, she was not, was what she realized. Amaryllis saw the paper as something she truly wanted to have . . . and it was slowly making its way away from her, freedom itself. "Get back here . . .!!" she desperately thought in her head as she ran around the corner of one of the halls. She didn't want to lose something so precious to her, that was precious to her, freedom was so precious to her. All she could see was that piece of paper, and because that was all she could see, Amaryllis didn't notice that a boy had been standing in her way, and soon, they both collided, her blonde locks scattered all over the ground. Luckily, Amaryllis had, in instinct hugged her violin and fell on her back, shielding it from falling on the ground and she closed her eyes in hopes of shielding herself from the pain. Like her dream, like the freedom that was slipping away, she was going to protect the violin as if it were her child, or the only piece of happiness she had in this cruel world.

━━━━━━Now even more papers were falling from her bag as Amaryllis sat up, rubbing her head after a few seconds of blinking and waiting for the pain in her back to lessen. She made sure that her violin was safe as she opened the black case and peeked through a little slit, sighing in relief to see that it was fine, as shiny as ever. Even though she fell on her back, she was okay. The physical pain did not matter. But as she looked up and saw the black haired boy, she realized that she must have shown some kind of insignificant emotion, a weakness and so the wall that fell suddenly grew in her eyes, showing indifference once again, one that kept people away from being with her. There was no need for someone to see her in such form, no need for someone to see her frantic. "I deeply apologize." Amaryllis said in an indifferent voice as she bowed her head politely, silently hoping that the paper she saw stopped where she had fallen, "I was not looking, I deeply apologize. I should have seen that you were standing there." Her stormy blue eyes looked up at him afterward looking through his green ones like a blade piercing through someone. She started to pick up all her items as she waited for his answer, hopefully she didn't have to make an enemy out of this one. Amaryllis tried to hide that she was frantically also looking for that piece of music.

Morticai Piper Jameson

Pip just call me Pip
Writing: ow ow ow ow ow...
Singing: Gold: Wake Owl
Acting: Startled, confused, ow.

Ow Ow Ow! Morticai rubbed his head. Yeah, definitely an art student thing. He had gotten distracted by thinking of how great it was to be in this school, and hadn't even seen the girl run smack into him! The boy had to remind himself that his inner monologues did not make him any less susceptible to collisions. It could have been worse. At least in this situation he shared the embarrassment.

There had been occasions where Piper had zoned out, drifted off into his imagination and was only abruptly shoved back when a, usually yelling, voice asked him what in the hell he was talking about. He couldn't even count how many times he had apologized to a door, or a wall, or a locker, even a water fountain that he had flipped over once.

He smiled softly and tossled his hair. "Not a problem at all miss" He spoke politely and--what was that look? Jeez, if looks could kill. Piper blinked his soft brown eyes. What was she looking for? The boy lifted his foot and bent over to pick up a sheet of paper. He could perfectly read every line of the sheet music, and smiled at the thought. "I am Morticai Jameson..but please, call me Pip." Pip hopped up from off the ground and dusted himself off. OH! and of course, checked and straightened his bow tie. Bow ties are cool.

━━━━━━Amaryllis had just finished picking and packing everything that dropped, and when her eyes saw that the boy had found that piece of music she held dear to her heart, Amaryllis quickly swiped it away from him with her free hand, carefully placing that in her bag too. The young blonde then cleared her throat, hoping that he did not find it too rude for her to do that. "I'm sorry, but that bears significant importance to me, I cannot let anyone lay their eyes on it." she apologized, carefully tucking it in the folder it belonged to. Yes, it held great significance. It was the embodiment of her feelings, of her life separate from the one she was soon to live. Of course it was important.

━━━━━━Amaryllis then stared as the boy picked himself up and then dusted himself off. He gave his name, a name she did not know of and so wondered if she should give her name to balance out how much information she was giving her. Her stormy blue eyes scanned the boy up and down indifferently as she let a silence pass by. "Amaryllis Jones." she replied professionally, not with a smile, but with a polite, business-like voice, "It's nice to make your acquaintance Mister Pip. I thank you for finding something I hold dear to my heart, I deeply show my gratitude." She bowed her head afterward with her violin case in front of her, Amaryllis' blonde locks falling from her shoulders.

Morticai Piper Jameson

Pip just call me Pip
Writing: Coffee sounds really good right now
Singing: Falling in love at a coffee shop: Landon Pigg
Acting: Polite and Proper

Morticai nodded, and respected how the woman composed herself. It was a trait his parent's would approve of. A proper poised woman or gentleman was as rare as unicorns in modern society, so thought the Jameson family. Piper was no stranger to this belief and accepted it openly. He prided himself on his gentlemen's demeanor. Hopefully this had been evident in his recollection of himself, post collision.

Piper tucked his hands behind him and bowed slightly, showing his gratitude for the introduction. "Such a great pleasure meeting you, Miss Jones." He spoke before adding his own personal charm. "You've certainly made quite the impression, my dear. Perhaps our next encounter we can just discuss interests. Over coffee? I'll treat you sometime, it's the least i can do. Just let me know when you'd like"

Poor Pip, the girl probably already had the wrong impression of him. He wasn't in any way trying to skeez up on her. If anything he just wanted someone to talk music with! Maybe she would understand that much, being a musician herself.

" Can you mimic the sounds of nature through your instrument? "

━━━━━━Amaryllis blinked 3 times when the boy talked. Was he asking her to have coffee with him? It was the first ever time someone has ever tried to even speak to her, let alone invite her out somewhere to talk. What a courageous boy indeed, he seemed interesting to her now. Usually people would walk away after looking through her eyes, this one reacted differently. Amaryllis knew that this boy didn't have any means to woo her, by looking at his actions, she guessed that he must have wanted someone to talk to, probably. She wasn't going to let her guard down now, but it did feel weird when another silence passed before she spoke, throwing some of her blonde hair behind her shoulder since it ticked her neck.

━━━━━━"I cannot allow that." she started, almost laughing at his stony expression that soon followed afterward, but disappeared after saying, "I must be the one to treat you. You found my precious object, it will be fair that way." Amaryllis truly found this one to be amusing, and she actually did want to have coffee with him, he seemed like an interesting person to talk to. But she made sure he didn't get any weird ideas from what she was saying to him. Her guard was still up and it was to stay up. Although her face showed a hint of amusement and the stormy blue eyes almost seemed like a drizzle of rain in comparison to a storm.

Cain continued to make his way through the halls, scrapping his feet along the ground as he walked. The only thing he carried was a sketch pad, a pencil, and an eraser. It was a steel pencil with fine lead. He had grown fond of it because he wouldn't have to worry about it becoming dull. Was he late? Probably. He didn't have a watch on him and he forgot his phone in his locker. He didn't really care that much though since he wasn't expecting any calls.

Cain's copper eyes darted around as he continued to look about the hall searching for the correct room number. He figured he was probably lost too since it looked like he was in the music section of the building. No matter, he was sure that he'd end up where he needed to go eventually. He put a hand in one pocket. Oh, that's right, he still had the black marker in his pocket. He felt its smooth surface with his fingers. Why did he bring it anyway? He didn't think he'd need it.

Almost there? Cain wondered as he saw the musical instruments and sheet music give way to canvases, tapestries, and sculptures. He must be getting closer. The halls seemed quiet, still, and empty. He assumed he probably was late. At least he was almost there.
