(( Oops: dice 1 rolled here, 2 rolled 2 posts down: Results 4,6))Cloudrunner reeled back at the fist attack from the houndour and snaked in for another good crunch, but it jerked free and batted her aside. She snarled at it and limped back to guard Cael. Unable to battle she might be, but she'd rip it apart before she let it get to him. Houndour HP: 1700/3200 Cloudrunner's HP: 000/300

Walpurgis lunged again, missing by a hair's breadth. Cursing silently, he rolled out of the way of another flamethrower, the heat uncomfortable on his skin. Walpurgis rushed away, thinking of how best to improvise without his gear. Using weapons would dispel any illusions he had built in regards to Johannes. Martial arts he could explain away as important for self-defense. He couldn't explain improvised weaponry. He cursed again.

Parthenius made another lunge for the Houndour. She was hit with a blast of flamethrower in return and, singed, fell off from the battle.

Voltron continued his pursuit of the dark pokemon and managed to get a critical hit on the pokemon only to be used as a chew toy in returne.
Keria winced as the Houndoor grabbed her emolga and started to shake it around like a chew toy. She quickly returned Voltron and backed up.

Mortimer, enraged at seeing Parth fall, yelled over to Herbert. "Hit him with another tackle!"
And Herbert did just that, unfortunately, the houndour was able to attack back. Herbert fell to the ground, defeated.

Auron saw Parth go down and turned to the Houndour. He growled loudly and lunged. He attacked with all he had angry that the wild pokemon had hurt his friend so badly. He however was attacked as well and he fell down himself KO'd.

The battle was getting more chaotic and the Houndour was still on its feet. What a remarkable Pokemon. It was still causing too much trouble though. Lizzie ordered Psywater to attack it again but his next stream of water missed. The Houndour flicked its ears and lept at the Lugia, biting it before jumping on another Pokemon.

 Juno had no interest in the Houndour for herself, but it might be worth taking back to the base. Fire-type moves would be nearly useless, so.... "Desdemona, Astonish!" With a crazed look in her eyes and a wail of "Liiiiiiit!" the Litwick flew forward to strike the Houndour with a surprise attack, and took one in return. Houndour: 900 Desdemona: 200

Determined to get back for the nasty attack, Psywater waited until the Houndour was closer again and smacked it with his wing when it leapt at him. The canine Pokemon winced and decided to try biting an easier target.

When the Houndour appeared, Jade had dropped the wood, and whistled. The glameow quickly joined her, leaping up to her shoulder as she surveyed what was going on.
"You up to battle?"
"Glameow."
"Good." It seemed to be a pretty strong pokemon, and so, Jade wasn't going to pull any punches. "Use Slash."
Unfortunately, the dog pokemon moved out of the way, turning around quickly, and biting the Glameow. Ouch.

"Precious, you're hurt," Juno cooed at her Litwick. She might have backed off then, but Desdemona's flame burned ferociously and she launched herself back toward the Houndour of her own accord. "Night Shade!" the woman called after her. The Litwick for a moment engulfed the foe in a dark mist, but then was suddenly propelled backward by a vicious attack. She landed at Juno's feet and slumped into the grass, spent, with a faint "Wiiiiick...." "Oooh, no, sweetheart..." Juno gingerly scooped Desdemona back into her lantern and hurried away toward her pack, where she had an ample supply of restoratives. "No shame, darling. Battles aren't your forte." Houndour: 700 Desdemona: KO'd

Seeing everyone going for it and many of the pokemon going down from attacking the houndour George decided it was time he got into it. With so many people it was hard to maneuver effectively thats why he waited so long.
He finally sent Tyr out there, "Tyr try using Take Down on it." Sadly he missed because he couldn't get into position but the Houndour used flamethrower and singed Tyr. He didn't like seeing Tyr get hurt but this was what was needed to be done.
