" My mothers would fight you over the term guardian," Kadriye replied with a soft laugh. They had accepted their child's unique fate and were good parents so far as she was concerned. They were not overprotective of her but Kadriye had memories from her youngling days of them being rather well.. snippy when people asked too many questions about her and how she was growing and did they need any help caring for her.
"I would appreciate having someone to go places with though, when I don't have to work something out by myself." She could not become dependent upon another Alkidike but it would be nice to have regular company and someone to watch her back when she got distracted. " Perhaps Amadi can teach me the magic of his kind when we are together so he doesn't feel left out." Kadriye didn't know if she could learn such a thing but she would certainly give it a try.

Briella smiled and let out a weak laugh. Her own two mothers weren't exceptional parents. Sure they raised her and taught her like most mothers would, but they protective of her or anything. When she left the island with Maya and the others she had a feeling they were happy to see her go, even if they didn't say so themselves. "Hum... Maybe protector is a better word? Body guard?" she offered with another laugh.
Briella nodded. She was sure there were many things that Kadriye would and could do that Briella couldn't, though she could accompany her to do just about anything else. When Kadriye suggested that Amadi teach her his magic. She looked at the little sprite who seemed to be talking again. "I'm sure if we could understand him better he would teach you all you would like. That is if we are able to learn that kind of magic." she said with a shrug. She had been trying to understand Amadi's chatter for the longest, but so far she hadn't had any luck. Maybe Kadriye would fair better.

"Bodyguard sounds nice, or private protector," Kadriye admitted, "Not what I want you to think you always have to be around, I mean you have your own life to live and goals you must want to meet as well." Every sister had a role they were meant to fulfill and Briella could not her advance her own standing within the tribe if she was busy following Kadriye around all the time.
"I may not understand what Amadi says but magic is already it's own language, so there's that." the girl said with a bit of a laugh. She had truly lucked out in meeting this pair today.

She nodded. Private protector.... Yes, that had a nice ring to it. When Kadriye said she didn't always have to be around the girl nodded. "Of course, but the path I wish to live is that of a warrior. And what better way to do that then to be a private protector?" she said with a smile and a small laugh. "But yes, I won't always be around, just whenever you need me or we both have free time to hang out." she added with a smile. Kadriye was nice, and different from the other sisters she knew. Not only because she walked a different path, but there was something else...
She nodded. It made sense that those who knew magic would understand other magic users. "Maybe we could even get the two of your magic together and then would could understand him." Hey, it was worth a shot.

"Yes, although not today, I need time to think of the best things to combine and Eshe might have an idea as well." Oh this was going to be exciting, it would be an added task to learn a new magic if possible but oh so worth it Kadriye was sure.
"Although I won't be granted much free time if I don't get my studies done." The young mystic looked off in the direction she needed to go to search for the plants again. "I should probably get back to that."

Briella nodded. Yes, she had taken up enough of Kadriye's time. Although she didn't want her sister to go, she knew that they had been talking for a while and she should get home also. They would be wondering where she had run off too.
Briella took Kadriye's hand and bowed slightly with a smile. "It was nice spending time with you Kadriye, till we meet again." she let go of Kadriye's hand and turned to leave. Amadi went up to Kadriye and tugged on one of her dreads lightly, talking in his foreign language the whole time. And with that both of them were off, happy with what they had done with their day.
