A huge Bear tour down the Vines protecting the cave Drenched to the bone , his furr mangles and Thick with mud and oozing swampy water as it leaked of his body and stream towards the fire and put it out, it trudged In slowly and gave an epic Roars, that Echoed through the cave.
Medusa's Ears Perked as it hit her the Noise wasnt Thunder, the echo clearing her mind, she looked ahead from the back of the cave and saw a huge bear water every where and Keahi infront Protecting her. she suddenly remembered him telling her Water would make him very sick. watching as it all took place, still shaking from the noise of thunder but holding herself together. incase Keahi needed her. she wasnt about to let him get hurt.
Medusa would keep the water away from him.. if it meant throwing herself in harms away to do it.
she would be able to survive a hit from lightening - if she Placed a vector plate to get her out the way in time. the snakes that were with her we limited. one hit is all that medusa could endure.. if it hit her for a second time, he life would be in danger... she scowled and pondered on what to do
the bear was too heavy to fling him out the cave with her vector plate, that and if she tired... it would get angry and come back.

' i will .... eee protect him ' she tough as she cowered in the corner from Rumbles that passed by.


Bear ready to attack Paw raised and he bellowed again, as if telling them to get out. he slammed his paw against the wall of the cave causing a slight tremor, the pointed rocks on the ceiling of the cave shaking above medusa,
her not realizing there above her. slow cracks appear in them , one more hit like that one the wall would cause them to fall on her.

Keahi stood firm infront of her, not Budging and Inch , then he roared a brilliant fire at the bear.
The bear growled then Saw fire flash and hit him, he freaked in a frenzy whacking the side of the cave once more before retreating back into the woods he has crawls out of, Some of his furr slightly Alight, growling harshly as he ran for his life.

that one last tremor was enough to make the spike rocks fall from the cave ceiling, but medusa's snakes took care of those.
she smiled alittle at his bravery for her.

" Medusa " she whispered sweetly.. " you ... can call me .. medusa "

Giving some one permission to call her Just by her first name was very important to her, it was like a seal of Approval and proof that she liked them.
Still in the Corner of the deep cave the vines now Striped from the entrance cold wing Blowing in the Rain.

"Go Find Cover "

wobbling towards keahi she Pushed him to the back of the cave, as she still quivered with fear, each time she heard the thunder she would bury her head into his soft furry chest as she pushed him back to the far back corner with her so he didnt get wet. A huge Bolt Stuck a tree outside the gave starting a mini fire, the rain putting it out as it pours from the sky. the lightening trying to Hit her snakes as they tried to find cover for the cave, she Cringed every time one got killed, curling up in the curling up coldly in the corner with her paws over her ears, now she knew keahi was safe there was no need to be so close to the gave entrance.
Afew moments later, the Snakes Fetched back a rather Large Flat piece of Wood, it looked like it was the Bark of a very big oak tree, and the place it over the cave entrance, the remaining Snakes Brought some Spare Fire wood that they had found the would was slighly wet but due to other wood bing on it there where Dry Parts, it looked like it could be lite after all.

" thank... e eee you .. " she allowed them rest as she burst them back to where she summoned them. she turned to keahi.

" thank you to.. keahi.... " her voice very soft and quiet

she cuddles into keahi's side and slowly drifts asleep again, a couples hours pass and what was day turned to night, slowly the rain comes to a still, and the storm passes over head. The clear sky holding the moon as the light Shines down onto the cave entrance, the hooting of owls awaken medusa from her sleep.

" did .. i fall asleep, what .. time is it ? "

she looks up as see keahi, jumping up she moves away and clears her throat
"ehemm. yes well ... thanks and .. Bye i guess"

Blushing deeply she heads for the entrance and Pushes the panel of wood of, suddenly a Huge puddle of water drops on her head and drenches her

" eww grrrrr "

She begins to sneeze and shiver as the wind blows past her now wet fur...
Not only was she Embarrassed about being scared of lightening, but she showed such fear infront of keahi, she felt ashamed to even look at him as he saw her in such a fragile state.
It bothered her greatly not just because he is the first to see her that way but because she grew to like and care deeply for him.. And now she was drenched in water.. she was glad it was her in a way, she would hate for anything to happen to keahi, She sniveled alittle...

" Achoo... err, will you be heading home now? " Wondering if he even had a home to go back to .. she would offer back to her place if he didnt, the night had only just begun and she .. would really have liked him to come home with her. that and she was still scared the storm might come back.
Licking at her wet fur she grumbles at the piece of flat wood as if it could hear her..

keahi came over to her and warmed her up, he looked disappointed when she left him but, she didnt know how else to react. it was all so new to her. and confusing.
" th..thank you again .. " She looked at him as he said he had no home and he traveled.

" Want to come live with me ? .. I MEAN stay at mine you know i mean.. " shutting up on the matter before it got worse as she said something stupid..

she didnt know if she should wait.. or see if he would follow her.. she was lost and didnt know how to go about things... she waited... as she blushed slightly. before adding

"My lair, is in a forest, in a swaps, it is huge and has lots of trees that reach to it, but it is Mostly all underground. it has a back entrance too,. where there is no water. the Swamp part is the Main entrance but it is more like a fortress than anything. - i use my snakes to get across the water if i have to go that way , but i prefer the Back Entrance it is closer... and i dont have to get Muddy. the reason for the Swap is the Benefits of the Ingredients i can get from it. As my home is all under ground i dont have to worry to much .. there is a smaller Extension That leads to a Outdoor part of the house he leads to a cliff side Mountain behind, it is a rather bif Outside home also no water there. where the Forest Reaches. I used that passage to get the Minerals but i never use that part of the house. "
she has no idea why she stood there Explaining how big and Complicated her house really was, she must really want him to come stay with her.
Her home was Huge. underground made life easier. She had he back tunnel which only those Whos Blood has been entered can enter. so far that was herself and another called Trisha. and the second largest Tunnel
which lead out onto the Mountain Cliff, it was Two stories like a normal home would be.. but with nothing in it. she had found it and Made it her own and connected it up to her own home to make is easier to get too and from the mountain . it was convenient for her.

She stopped for a moment and cleared her head.. there was a good chance he didnt even want to know any of this.

eyes widden as he accepts her offer to go live with her, she is so unsure how to feel

Alittle dazed and shocked he accepted she takes two steps out of the cave, slips and falls over. Quickly rushing to her feet as if nothing has happened.
Why was she so nervous? was it because she was going home with a man. Clearing her throat alittle

" well i hope you like it. " she Summons a snake, as she does on of the tattooo on her arms Come to life and turn into a large transport snake " Get on ?"

Jumping onto its back she makes herself comfortable for the Journey back home.

She commands the snake to return home the back way, so that they dont Run into the swap and keahi doesnt get wet, the snake of large size, whisked through the woods as if it where air, and withing 10 minutes at the speed the arrived at the back entrance to her home.
It looked like collapsed ancient Ruins, old Pillars left and on the wall that looked like the main entrance was Engraved markings, to the right of what looked like the door was a stone tablet, stained with what looked like blood.

" Please give me your paw and let me cut it ? "

She wasnt going to hurt him but she needed his Blood and ink, when she entered it on the stone tablet and uses her magic it will all Keahi to open it with the touch of his paw, when ever he would like to.
there was only one other with the Pass to her lair but she was long gone.
Hoping keahi trusted her enough to allow her to do this.

She smiled gently
" it .. shouldnt hurt it is just alittle scratch "

She gently grabs his paw and hovers it over the Dial and turns the paw so his feet pads are Upards and then Cuts the top so his feet pads when he walks wont sting like hell she the Slowly Rubs his paw bleeding around on the dial, lifts it up and licks the wound clean for him before ripping of apart of her top to Bandaging it up.

She lefts go walks up to the door and use's her magic with her head pressed against the door

" i medusa accept this blood of Keahi, a guest for now and foreve into my lair "

This now ment keahi would be able to come in and out of the house using Any exit or entrance by Simply Holding his paw against the door

" Keahi, come here and press your cut paw on the middle of the door, it will now open for you. you will be able to freely pass in and out from any entrance/exit that you see in the Lair. "

she stands back for him to get to the door.
