What time zone is everyone in? I'm mostly in central, so I'm an hour behind Invincible and two before Gaian time (pacific).
And honestly, I see the draw of other sites, but I don't think we should give up this one. Even if we move most of the main action elsewhere, we can still recruit from this - and other - communities.
Also, I'm not really for anything that's gonna make me download the program. My comp doesn't like it so much, and my phone couldn't handle it.
Well after playing with Second life for about a week, I think we can safely rule it out as a primary hub. It might be a fun thing to do "lets go run around 2nd life tonight!", but it lacks the organizational tools we need. And it's SOOOOOO not user friendly.
I think we can also eliminate IMVU. I just don't see the structures we need there.
As for not abandoning Gaia completely..yeah I agree. We need to be able to recruit. In fact, I think wherever we land, we should establish presences on Solia, Facebook, Twitter, tumbler, D/A, and anywhere else we can think of.

Hey Rose, even if we don't go to Second life (Frankly, we're not), you might wanna poke around. Your Opening Scene Project might be easier to do in 2nd life then as an animation.

It's a pretty good kit. I was able to build Sailor Black Pretty Easily, i'm sure I can build everyone else. And apparently scripting is pretty easy, if we can figure that out, filming an opening would be pretty easy.

xD Not that I'm aware of. But people are rather generous. Hang out and talk to people enough and you'll have some handed to you. I lucked out and found a party, and they had bots handing out 10 lindens every couple minutes to a random person there. The same party had a tube race, which I somehow got 7th place in. That was another 60.
Oh, that sounds cool. Are they bots made by the devs or by the users? o3o hkdkshfjdksf You can race and s**t?

99% of everything in the world is made by users, including the bots. (The bots basically being invisible spheres with a script attached to hand out lindens at random)
And yeah, someone designed a tube race course. They pull it out twice per week. xD
Its rather amazing what people come up with and put in Second life. Played a game, in the game called fruit cake. The fact someone was able to code something like that for second life kinda boggles my mind. I mean look at this tutorial. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xn6M3O7mBiQ
If they could just get their act together and make a viewer thats actually user friendly, Second life would be so huge. They could easily quadrupedal their traffic if it wasn't such a learning curve. xD And if they'd fix their rendering issues and lag.

Yeah bots are legal. Theres nothing to farm, so nothing wrong with them really.
