Shika looks at Shal. "I am from the edge of a forest the touches Big Oak Grove. The edge of the forest I live on touches Aa-wi-u-s-di Plains and the part I live in is filled with flowers." She points out a bit as she watches how he stretched and thought it was cute.
She looks at a shell on the beach that was close as she smiles. "The shells here are like beach flowers." she giggles a bit.

Shal'zaru considered this. "I suppose in a way they are." He glanced back at where the beach met the jungle. "You must have traveled a long way. Will your family be missing you? Will you be able to see your way home well enough?"

"Well once I get to the forest all I like to do is look for icy blue glowing lilies and then I am home. But I might stay the night here at the beach so that I don't get lost in the dark on my way home."
She looks at Shal. "Oh that is if it is okay for me to stay on the beach for the night."

]"You are welcome to stay on the beach. There is a cave nearby that is no longer used by a member of our herd. It should offer ample protection for the night," Shal'zaru laughed, amused by the mare. "Someday I shall have to come see these glowing flowers of yours. I have never heard of flowers able to do that."

"They are lilies my adoptive brother and sister carry so if you wish to see them sooner I can drag my sister here. Or you can come to the field of them that is well hidden and only myself and my brother and sister know how to get to." She points out as she smiles.
She looks over seeing the cave. "It looks like a nice cave."

Shal'zaru returned the smile. "Perhaps one day I shall come see your friend of glowing flowers, and bring my mate. I doubt she has heard of glowing flowers, either." He looked thoughtful a moment. "We have some grassy areas on the island. I wonder if we would be able to cultivate some of the flowers there."

"Well normal flowers maybe but the glowing lilies need to be under the care of a flutter or flutter mix to stay alive. So if you wanted the glowing lilies you would need a flutter in your herd." She points out as she looks at the Island.
"flowers that are normal should grow there without a problem. If grass can grow there without a problem that is."

"Are flutters good with plants? Perhaps it might be wise to find one willing to live on the island and tend gardens for us." The stallion nodded thoughtfully to himself at the idea. "Yes, that is what we need." He looked at Shika-Nijiiro again. "Not your flutters, of course. They are yours. No, I think I will send the boy out to find a flutter willing to call our herd home. He's always up for adventure.

'Oh yes flutters are great with plants and flowers. They can re-size themselves to be as small as a bee. So they are like bees. But they can't stay in that size for long." She points out as she stretches a bit.
"If my flutters have children. I know that if they want to see the world I will send them here to maybe help you out a bit. But only one of my flutters might have someone." She points out.
"If you can't find a willing flutter then maybe one of your herd can have a fling or mate with a flutter. Then a baby flutter mix could be part of your herd."

Shal'zaru laughted and shook his head. "My herd are all like me, or completely aquatic. I do not think a flutter/naga hybrid would thrive well, but it is an option to consider." He chuckled again. "Most likely, I will have Zalashji come in the morning to escort you home. He can see these flutters for himself and perhaps find one that might be willing to come back here. He's been itching to travel for awhile now."

"You might be right. Flutters are like bees and bugs so they don't get wet seeing it is hard for them to fly and do what they need to with wet wings." She pictures a Flutter Naga mix.
"The mix might look a bit odd. But they still should be able to do what is needed to be done." She points out. "Oh that is nice of you but not needed. The trip is long though."

"I think finding a flutter to live amonst us might be best. If they wish to have children within the herd, then we will worry about hybrids then," Shal'zaru answered, closing his eyes somewhat in thought at the decision. He opened them again and looked at the mare. "It will be no trouble, Shiki, to send Zala with you. He has spoken of wanting to journey for sometime now. The boy has a need to find the other half of his family. This will give him an excuse to leave the herd for awhile."

Shika looks at Shal "Hybrids can be fun. But I agree with you. Having one live with you or more then one to help you all out is great." She bows down a bit looking at a sea shell. "They are so pretty just like flowers." She has a thing about flowers.
Looking up at Shal. "Oh my.. I hope he finds his missing family soon. He must be hurting inside not knowing if they are okay or not."

"He has his mother," the stallion replied, giving a slight shrug, "but he wishes to know his father. It would be wrong to deny him knowledge of his heritage." He gestured to the cave with his tail. "At any rate, I will send him by in the morning to see you safely home. I must go check on the herd. They will be wondering where I have gone off to and I would like to tell him about.. flutters. Sleep well, Shika." He bowed his head slightly before heading off.

Shika nods. "It was an Honor to meet you Shal." She trots to the cave as she get to it and trots inside. She circles a bit inside before laying down. The night is a nice one and she has enjoyed her day.
She paws at the ground with her hoof a bit before tucking it under her. "The moon light on the sea is sure pretty. I am glad I came to the beach. So glad." She yawns a bit.
