Relieved to see his weapon desummoned, Kat finally dropped her stance, no longer on the offensive. For now..
"It's fine, I guess. I just wasn't sure if you were going to drag me off to Caelius or something." She answered, sliding the hood back and scratching the top of her head. As he tried to voice his question, Kat paused to listen. "Well, we had our weapons, but Caelius saw to having them forcefully removed. I don't know what happened to them after being exiled, aside from the fact they returned back to tablet formation." That moment when her weapon was taken.. it was hard to forget it.
"Where?" She asked, giving him a suspicious look, tensing a little as he moved closer. Moving aside as he reached for the door behind, she followed him anyways.

"Y-yeah I kinda saw that. It didn't look at all... comfortable... when that Red creature took them away that was bad enough but..." He frowned, Caelius, the other scythe user. No wonder everyone suggested he just learn on his own rather then go to him for help. In a strange way he reminded him of his father. You never got a middle ground, punishment was always swift, and extreme.
Pushing that thought aside he continued to move through the store room. "They have a side door here somewhere, for moving larger things into the store room from outside. Not really big, but big enough and far enough from the front door if you don't want to be seen you won't be seen."

Nope. It definitely wasn't, nor was it something she wanted to go through again. Not that she'd have to, what with her being 'kicked out' of the whole hunter job. Oh well, there was no use moping about it. She needed to move on, or at least try to.
A little surprised that she had been led to a storage room, she gave the area a quick glance about, before returning her gaze to Ro. Oh! So that's what he was showing her. "Ah, thanks." Its likely that would come in handy if she were ever down this hall again. "So, what now?"

The topic of weapons and being unbound from them quickly faded, he was sure she didn't want to dwell on it, and neither did he, hell even bringing it up might have upset her and that alone made him feel bad enough so instead he started towards the side door.
"We get back to the dorms, hide you somewhere around there, why would you come to the Labs? They have so many cameras that if the wrong person where to look at a single tape they could see you just about anywhere probably."
He frowned looking back at her, "The guy who did this, Caelius, he might be our leader... but what he did wasn't right either. Though attacking him or disobeying orders isn't better...." He shook his head, "We're dancing around in a lot moral greys right now."

Though she had previously been staying in Lex's room, Kat had moved in with Ami until her issues had been sorted out, one way or the other. Though she really hated the idea of having to be kept cooped up somewhere. Maybe she really did need to go and talk with one of the leads.. Ami and Lex both said she had to, but..
"Oh, um.. two of the people I've been staying with are in the life division, so I wanted to pay them a visit.." Though, it really was a dumb move on her end, what with all the cameras about, as Ro mentioned.
With a sigh, Kat folded her arms behind her head, casting a look off to the side as he spoke. "I know, I know. I've done some pretty stupid things.." She shouldn't have stepped out of line as she had, she knew that, but still she did not regret her decision to do so.

They moved through the cloest, when they finally found the end Roland gave the door a shove leading them outside of the labs. He took a glance around but it seemed like no one was around at the time.
"Probably best to visit them somewhere else or later..." He started back towards the dorms stuffing his hands into his pockets, two coattails flickering behind him. "I'm not.... I'm not saying what you did was wrong, or right." He looked back frowning, "Someone I cared about was one of those... monsters. I didn't attack them, but I was umm busy being nearly choked to death by something called a 'Mindflayer' I just.... like I said. Moral greys."
He continued onwards to the dorms.

Yes. Running off to the labs wasn't the wisest of choices she had made since she got back. After all, Ro had already figured out who she was, who was to say others wouldn't have clued in either?
"Yeah.." Lifting her chin, Kat stared up at the hunter as he spoke of the recent events. She had heard that some of the hunters had been getting along with the Halloween denizens, but even hearing it sounded a bit weird to her.. "Wait.. you got choked by a mindflayer?" This was the first time she had heard about this. But then again, its not like she knew Roland all to well really..
Striding along beside him, Kat stuffed her own hands into her pockets as well, paying no mind to anyone else around.

"Erm yeah, it didn't seem to happy about me hitting one of the other creatures so it uhhh kind of had a grudge at me during that. Kept talking about making me it's 'pet' made Rep look completely normal compared to the crazy creepy that thing was giving off."
He shivered as they continued to walk. "They don't have mouths so it was even talking to me in my head, it was like having another voice along with your weapons I don't think I ever want to meet up with that monster again."
He was completely unaware that she was actually classified as a demon and what he just said would likely be added onto a list of reasons Riley would want to keep him as a pet and abuse him for being ever so rude.
When they finally reached the dorms he wasted no time heading right to his room opening the door and ushering Kat into the past of a trainee life, the tiny room. Plain walls, nothing but a bed, desk, and dresser to keep him company. Though the desk looked a bit odd the middle part made out of fresh wood.
"I guess... now that we have you here.... you know I really don't know what we do next..."

Being any Halloween freak's 'pet' didn't sound too pleasant in her books, especially that of a mindfayer. Shuddering, she rubbed at her arms and continued to tag after Roland. "How do they even survive without a mouth?" She asked, wrinkling her nose at the idea of something without a mouth. Creepy.
Stepping into his dorm room, she paused for a moment. The last time she had been in a boys dorm, she had practically freaked out, for more than one reason. Then again, she was also an emotional mess then. Either way, she needed to start sucking it up, and get over it.
"Uhh.. I don't know either. I can head back to where I've been staying or something, if that makes things easier? I don't think I'm going to run into too much trouble in the dormitory, not at this hour anyways."
