Maya's antenna flicked at the constant stumble. It was as if Jerarda had meant to call Rishima a male. And yet insisted Rishima was a female. Halfbreeds, what if her child was a halfbreed. Would she be able to accept it as readily? Would she damn her from seeing the world for the shame? Maya shook her head, impossible. Aisha would not have granted the lotus to her if that was the case.
"Work doesn't mean they are bad." Maya responded watching Jerarda idly as the Alkidike moved to sit. Flicking a piece of hair over her shoulder, ignoring the clack of the beads. Maya looked down towards the forest floor again, searching Pacju's pace. She half wondered if something was wrong but wasn't about to suddenly up and leave the conversation. She was to prideful to do that.
"I will have to look into it, maybe if I ask Mother Aisha. She will be able to tell me something." Blinking she turned her head skyward. "What is Mythos?" Her brain had been feeling quite foggy as of late and though her body yearned to tell her what it was. She had forgotten.

"Oh you know myths..legends...often times based off of a true fact originally and then expanded on and elaborated. I am starting to think that the old war was a case of misunderstandings...but I could be wrong." Jerarda stated with a shrug of her own, obviously she had mixed feelings on the subject. The alkidike were a proud race of warrior women, it seems...almost wrong to think that the war was biased on lies or fictional tales told through the ages.
"I should probably go to mother and ask her myself..I wouldn't want to get you in trouble after all with all my prodding into the past." She chuckled leaning back slightly and noting how the other seemed antsy. Though if she had a lotus...that could probably explain it. The idea of having kids or wanting them was beyond her, but at the same time she felt that perhaps ...maybe someday.
Shaking her head to clear her thoughts on children she thought instead on Rishima. "I need to take Rishima to mother anyway...so...I'll be there and I will ask her then. Though I am not sure how long Rishi will need to reconcile things with hi...her biological mother."
