(ignore the other two rolls I was sure I wouldn't of succeed in dodging LOL)

It was like watching a rather deadly dance, one would swing a blade and then the other, feet moved with liquid fluidity as one would partially dodge and then the other respond. Jerarda managed to dodge the attack completely the grin on her face showing just how much she was enjoying this battle as it progressed.
Adrenaline buzzing she leapt forward to retaliate against his attack, almost like a pirate she went as she went to smack her staff against Rishima's legs.
"AHA take that!"

Rishima dodges and counters Jerarda's attack.

Rishima's Dmg: (12 + 7)/4 = 4.75 dmg
Rishima would never, ever say it outside but he was actually kind of... enjoying this. It seemed weird, after all he didn't want to harm Jerarda in anyway, but at the same time the entire battle was exhilarating, his heart was racing, his cheeks flushed, it was just... fun. He wondered if it should be, he would have to ask Jerarda about it later, to see if it was alright to think of something like this as being fun. She seemed to enjoy herself during battle so maybe she would understand what he was feeling? He wasn't really sure but he hoped that she might, he didn't want to appear as being weird because of how he was feeling at the moment.
Continuing to keep himself moving, antennae twitching from time to time in response to Jerarda's movements, he was able to almost dodge her next blow, getting scrapped by the butt of her spear, before he slid forward and took another swing at her, the slightest smile on his lips as he did so. He was going to feel this later, both the exhaustion and the bruises, but it was very much worth it if you asked him. He was going to benefit from this battle, it would help to sharpen his skills, and maybe, just maybe, it would help him with other battles that he was going to have in the near future. Especially the one with his mother.

The grin on her face only showed how delighted she was to be sparring again. She missed it, the fights and the scuffles...heck they should do this more often!! Why didn't this more often? Perhaps some part of her actually was afraid of hurting Rishima. That thought had never really crossed her mind before, was she afraid of hurting 'her'? The idea seemed..ridiculous almost laughable...but she knew some part of her didn't hold any desire to physically harm or prove herself the stronger of the two.
In fact she was just enjoying the fight as it was...a spar. To help get 'her' ready to face her 'mother'. Wow...how people change.
In fact even as she swung wildly and missed her mark she didn't seem to mind, still smiling that giddy exhilarated smile.

When Jerarda took her next swing at him next he was rather surprise to find that the swing seemed to be a bit on the wild side, something that made his mismatched eyes go a bit wide. The way she swung had made dodging it rather easy, even for him, which was also surprising. He starred for a moment, about to ask if she was alright, before he changed his mind and instead he tightened his hands on his spear. He didn't want to ask her if she was alright, not now, because she might give him a swift kick in the backside for asking such an insulting question. The last thing that he wanted was to insult his dear sister in any manner after all.
Instead he readied himself for his next attack, deciding to go all out this time since he hadn't had to focus on dodging too hard this time around... not that he would ever say that out loud either. It had just been luck on his part after all. Taking in a deep breath, antennae once more twitching, the halfbreed took another quick swing at Jerarda.

The alkidike woman dodged the attack fully again, showing off her speed and skill as she did so. Her foot work showing off as she moved aside from 'her' swing and around to the left of 'her' thumping her spear into the side of Rishima, giving a small chuckle as she did so. This was proving a lot more fun that she thought it would be and she made a note to do it more often with 'her'.
But Rishima was making wonderful progress! It showed on how the hits were landing and actually hurting, a nice change from the first attempt at herself.

Rishima got a bit wide eyed as Jerarda slid out of the way of his attack so easily, making it seem so simple to do, though he wasn't really upset about it. If anything he was impressed. He would never learn anything from someone that took it easy on him and it was more then obvious from his various bumps and bruises that Jerarda wasn't taking it easy on him. The halfbreed boy shifted in place, waiting for her next move. His antennae twitched, sliding out of the way of Jerarda's next attack just as she had done to him. It was a rather surprising thing, the way that the two of them were dodging each others attacks over and over again.
It was suddenly as though the two of them were in sync with one another, it was something that had him even more excited, his antennae twitching in an excited manner as he lifted his weapon once more and lunged, taking another swing at his sister.

Jerarda was wearing down but this wasn't a bad thing, after all it was a spare and though they would be covered in bruises by the end of it at least there was no permanent or lasting damage. It was so encouraging to see Rishima doing well at this! And not running away was the best she could of hoped for.
Another jab and she knew that was was going to bruise something aweful but at least she had been able to avoid most of the damage, now it was her turn to swing the spear, though she turned it around and tried to get him with the butt of the spear instead.

Rishima was quick to slide out of the way of Jerarda's next strike, watching as the butt of her spear flew passed him, before he took a couple of steps back, nearly tipping over due to how quickly he'd moved to dodge her swing. The boy gave a sighing sound, antennae laying back against his head in a tired manner for a time before they perked back up. Only once he'd steadied himself, as well as took a moment to catch his breath, did he lift his weapon up for his next attack. Sliding forward he took another swipe at his fellow Blade.

Jerarda took part of another hit, she could feel herself tiring, the adrenaline was about the only thing keeping her going at this point. She was going to be pretty black and blue the next day, not to say that Rishi wasn't taking 'her' lumps as well.

Rishima was feeling that he was starting to slow down as that the two of them continued their battle, he was only able to dodge a bit of Jerarda's last attack, taking some of it and was promised yet another bruise. It was made even more apparent as he took his own swing at her ad instantly he knew that it had come up a bit short of hitting her. His eyes went a little on the wide side when he realized how badly he'd missed, "O-Oh... oops..." He murmured before he lifted his arm up to rub it against his face, mopping away the sweat before he prepared himself for what was to come. He was getting a little on the tired side but he knew that it wasn't over yet so he had to stay on his toes.

Jerarda A wide swing from her opponent and she gave a grin readying her own spear and ...missing wildly as well. She began to laugh..stumbling slightly as she was pretty sure this duel was lasting perhaps a bit longer than she had anticipated. Rishima was good, a lot better than 'she' gave herself credit for.
It surprised and pleased Jerarda, though perhaps hurt her own pride if only slightly.

It seemed that in this instance of the duel he was a bit on the lucky side, wasn't he? He'd missed with his last attack, quite spectacularly in fact, and in turn Jerarda missed as well! It was quite a surprise to the young halfbreed, had him starring a bit and had his antennae twitching, before he tightened his grasp on his staff and lunged forward at her, taking another swing at her. This duel was getting to be rather on the exhausting side, wasn't it? Very, but he wanted to keep going, wanting to keep up with his sister, and wanted to be prove himself! He just had to keep moving even though, at the moment, he wanted nothing more then to take a nice, long nap in the trees.

Jerarda: 0/24 hp
Jerarda hadn't been prepared for it, the sudden determined lunge caused her to falter, she was tired and this duel had been going on for a long while now. Caught off guard she was hit squarely and will plenty of strength behind it. Her breath was knocked from her as she felt her body shudder at the impact and then as it landed squarely against the ground.
She stared blankly up at the sky a moment, struggling to catch her breath and once she was able to it wheezed from her throat into her lungs. Jerarda had been beaten, sure it was a duel but normally this arrogant and proud alkidike would sulk, blame the use of the spear being her down fall. But that hadn't been the case, in fact they had been evenly matched and the timid Rishima won.
Giving a wheeze of a laugh she went to sit up, grimacing at the pain in her ribs and wondering if she would need to rewrap her top to make it more of a real bandage than just looks. "Ah...haha...good j.job Rishima." she managed as she slowly pulled herself together and went to stand up. "I thin..think you are ready to f..face your mother."
