It was pretty strange, truth to be told. One minute, Eva found herself being pulled down into an infinity, inky blackness, her heavy body causing her to sink...and then next, she was suddenly jerked back into consciousness. It was a rather rude awakening, she had to say--if she had to compare it to something, it was like having bright lights suddenly switched on as she was sleeping. She let out a quiet groan as the lights burned into her eyes even through her eyelids, vaguely making out a familiar voice as her head was gently slid onto the ground.

"Wha...?" She tried to speak again, her attempt only slightly better than her previous grumble. She cracked her eyes opened as her senses slowly returned to her. The earthy scent of the ground, the itchiness on her cheeks where the blades of grass were tickling her, and--

"Wilson?" With a wince, she forced herself to sit up, turning to look at her friend with a puzzled expression as she caught the tail end of his question. Go to the infirmary? ...Wait, what had just happened? They had been sparring, she was caught in that cloud of poisonous gas, and then...

Her gaze flickered to the young man as he began to back away, his expression suddenly twisting into one of...what was that, fear? Looking confused, Eva lifted a hand in an attempt to stop him, but it was already too late. Before she could ask him to wait, he had already turned and ran off.

...She wasn't sure what to make of what just happened, but she could dwell on it after she got to the infirmary and got herself checked out.
