It was true that there was very little Varuna could claim to truly understand about being a senshi and the apparent war going on, but she wouldn’t call herself confused. Not really...
A frown took over her worried expression, unsure of what Zee meant about being there when people didn’t know what they were doing. But Zee’s next question pulled her away from her thoughts.
She stared up at her for a moment, and then glanced away. “I could be,” she said, confident enough in her magic that she could take care of herself and pose a threat to those who tried to hurt her or those she was trying to protect. It wasn’t much of a threat, but it was better than nothing.Carneli Ready to wrap it up in a couple? <3

"I know," Zia said with a roll of her shoulders. "Everyone could be. Do you want to be?"
She was curious, really. Either answer told her a little bit more about the perplexing blonde in front of her, and she wanted to know everything.
"I don't think you're dangerous to me, though. I think you just want to do the right thing, or at the very least survive. That what most people want. On all sides."

Varuna pursed her lips together thoughtfully, trying to decide if this Zee girl knew what she was saying, or was just really good at bullshitting seemingly well thought out things.
Eventually she decided that there was no harm in answering truthfully, regardless of how vague that truth was. “I don’t know,” she admitted as she let out a small breath, her hands reaching up to thread through her loose hair unbound below a braid over her shoulder.
What this young woman was saying… seemed a little strange after everything she’d seen so far. The Negaverse wanting to do the right thing…? Or at least survive… that was the key statement.
“You’re lucky I’m not,” she said, taking a step back, a small upward twitch of her lips revealing what might have been a grin, but it quickly faded. “Be safe…”
While she would like to continue talking to this young woman, she did want to do the right thing, and that was to make sure there were no youma in the area. If Zee had no complaints, Varuna would make her departure.
