He came out a good twenty minutes later, wearing a pair of jeans and drying his hair with a towel. "I ain't supposed t'be happy, Danny," he told her as if it was only logical. "If I was supposed t'be happy I woulda been born someone else." Then he headed for the door to answer the pizza guy with--"Where's my smoothie, man? I wanted a smoothie!"

Danny cackled something fierce as Roch berated the pizza guy for a smoothie that hadn't been ordered. She threw Roch a bag of seeds (which hopefully whacked him in the head) and then just threw back her head in laughter.

Roch grunted, grabbing the bag of seeds before it hit the ground. Then he counted out the seeds a pizza would cost, plus a SMALL tip before sending the guy off--sans pizzas. Then he turned to Danny. "Y'brat! Where's my smoothie? Just cuz you got weird anti-cold problems don't mean the rest of us do!"
Then he threw the bag back at her and headed for the kitchen to get a bottle of pop out of the fridge. "I gotta call Monica," he said idly, seeing how empty the fridge was.

Danny perked up at the mention of Monica, putting her seeds back in her pocket and cracking open the box of pizza and grabbing a piece greedily. It felt a little strange to be eating pizza with Roch when they were supposed to be in Screamology, but Danny didn't mind too much. She'd never been one that cared about school too much.
Mouth full of pizza that was scalding hot (not that Danny noticed that of course), she said, "I think you should've kept the blonde beard." Just to spite him.

"It itched," Roch said with a shrug. "And I didn't feel like dying it. It's already a pain in the a** doin' my eyebrows." Yes, he dyed his eyebrows, too. He HATED being a blonde.
"Y'think it'd be easier if we just broke up completely?" he asked her. "Get it over with, y'know? Kinda like cuttin' off an arm before the insanity spreads." Pretty image right there, bro-__-

Danny patted the spot next to her, already half done with her slice. "No!" she said almost immediately. "At least ... unless she did something ... or ... I don't know." She put a hand on her chin. If she didn't know the wrongdoing Amphi had done, Danny wasn't sure how seriousit was.
"Can't you just tell me? She's my friend too..."

"That's why I DON'T wanna tell you," Roch said. "She's got... misplaced allegiances," he said darkly. "Thinkin' one bad guy is better than another bad guy. And I don't agree with her logic or pickin' the side she picked. An' if I can't trust her--this is serious stuff, trust me--then how can I stay with her?" he asked. "I don't know, honestly. I don't know how t'deal with it, and everytime I try t'think it through I just wind up even more depressed."

"Dude shut up, you sound like a movie," Danny whined, biting into her pizza. With a full mouth, she said, "I mean like all this woe is me stuff." That, and Danny didn't know what allegiances even meant.
She frowned, not really sure how to feel. On one hand, Roch cut ties with Amphi, a ghoul they both really liked. On the other hand, Amphi might've done something to really hurt Roch.
"Like do I gotta kick her butt or what," she asked. That was the only way Danny knew how to fix things. If you didn't like it, put a fist on it.

"Nah... we'll figure it out," Roch said. "At least... y'know, I hope we will. It'd really suck t'love her and... y'know, not be with her." He shrugged, thinking it over. "Then again--she IS a Johnny Danger fan. Seriously, I shoulda dumped her over that, first. Likin' that skinny a** bastage--I shoulda known she had bad taste in--" Wait. That meant her dating him was bad taste, too... Well, to be honest, he'd sort of thought that, too...
