"Would that be wise?"

Kurma tilted his head, a long lock of dark hair brushing against Iris's arm.

"If this is for your teammates, and not just you. Is it really your choice what they should and should not learn?"

Her fingers released the man's shoulder, casually brushing away the hair which had draped against her skin. She knew the answer to the question and it did not need to go answered aloud.

However, there were many more aspects to the whole ordeal than the guide would need to know. The princess was looking out for others who didn't even know it yet.

"I think... I have the answers I need."

The blonde princess stepped away from him, and as she did, her dress faded, changing back to the fuku she had been wearing before. She then spun around as best as she could in the sand before moving up close and poking a gloved finger at the orb which was now within Kurma's hold.

"So... I always wanted to know... what th'hell is that thing?"

The Princess had abandoned them for the day it would seem.

The wings and gown disappeared as smoothly as they had appeared on the Princess's form, leaving the familiar, somewhat more graceless Sailor Iris behind. Kurma had stepped back to give her some room to change back, but the gap closed before it could grow even half a footstep. He took it in stride, neither spooked nor startled, but that was par for the course with him. It took a lot to give him a shock. Someone suddenly invading his personal space didn't quite cut it.

"Oh," he replied, "this?" He briefly sat in the air, holding the starlight-filled buoy close to his chest. The buttery glow caught the edges of his face, which was wearing an intriguing smile. "Not much. Just me."

"...Just you?"

Well that was puzzling, but it didn't really lessen her curiosity. Perhaps it had something to do with the object being the only source of light at the moment.

"...well... whatever... it makes a good light durin' th'winter months 'ere..." She paused before clarifying "I specifically mean 'ere... as in this location. Other parts of the world aren't this bad with the seasons and stuff..."

She glanced to the direction she had pointed in before to show the way to the Port. "I ain't in the mood t'go there now... but maybe another time... if yer bored, we could attempt goin' t'the Port... it ain't much... but at least it is somethin' a bit better than a world-wide desert graveyard..."

Much like before, she soon enough whipped out her senshi phone and was starting to go through the motions to get back to Earth.

Ah, so much for the promise of adventure. Kurma accepted the possibility of coming up to see the Port another time with a serene nod. "Could be a good time," he mused. "I'd like to hear more of your story when you got the chance to tell it. But for now... I am glad I could help you find an answer to your question. Let me know how things turn out for you, alright?"

Whatever had been troubling the young Princess... he was confident it would be resolved in time. Things had a way of working out when one willed it.

"Don't be a stranger. Later, Iris."

And as soon as the senshi had departed from her asteroid, he, too, was gone.
