Ivor looked over to her with an idle glance. Why hadn't she finished her first sentence? His tail flicked a little as it dragged behind him as he chewed on his twig a little. "Well there's nothing wrong with knowing what you like. For your age, that's a good thing." His ears flicked a bit. "Shall I go find your dad or Sumac though?" Ivor tilted his head a little watching her curiously.

Ca shook her head to his question. "Dad's on patrol. I don't know where Sumac is. I haven't seen him in a while. I think he might have left." It was disappointing, but she hadn't seen him around...

'And what's stopping you from going off and finding Sumac, hmmm?' The stallion tilted his head a little in curiosity looking over at Ca Thu Thi with a teasing gaze. His ears flicked as he stopped for a moment in a deeper part of the forest, his nostrils flaring as he looked around him so that he knew where he was. The stallion's wings shifted a little from having been still too long. He was itching to fly...

"That would just make him upset. He'd say that a filly like me shouldn't be wandering around on my own, especially if it's somewhere where Cardinal might be. He also has poisonous leaves in his mane and tail, so I can't be around him for very long. Or if I am, I have to take lots of baths." She didn't mind being clean, but the continuous baths had been irritating. Her ears flicked up as his wings shifted. "... You can fly. I'm used to it."

Ivor gave a bit of a stretch as he listened to her stoic voice. He was still trying to find some sort of emotion in the filly. Sure she gave away a few visual changes, but there was little to nothing else. She was certainly a strange, interesting little one. "He sounds quite the character...Oh come now, I thought Fillies loved being pampered." Ivory looked at her fondly with a bit of a grin. At her question, he tilted his head, looked up at the sky then back down at her. "Used to what?"

"Pampered and being bathed every time you make contact with someone are two different things." Ca Thu Thi looked up at Ivory when he asked his question. "Being around winged Azrien. Dad does the same thing that you do when he needs to fly."

Ivory chuckled slightly keeping his silence as they strolled before coming close to a clearing. He looked up at the sky, the need to stretch his wings becoming slightly extreme. "Well thank you for enlightening me, Princess." He teased her gently then looked down toward Ca Thu Thi. "Maybe one day, I'll take you flying." The stallion gave a wink and a grin. "Don't drive anyone crazy, little one. And go back to your family." The stallion leaned over and then picked at her forelock in a playful teasing. He'd keep eyes and tabs on her marking this spot in his mind. All foals needed a big brother, right? He trotted forward stretching his wings and taking off into flight, into the skies.
The conversation was short, but pleasant surprisingly for a foal. He wondered what she would be like when she was grown. He'd definitely want to be there for that.

Ca Thu Thi rolled her eyes, but didn't make any sharp remarks to his teasing. "You shouldn't suggest impossible things," she replied to his offer to take her flying. She had no wings to fly with, and although she was not large for her age, even Ivory would have trouble carrying a half-grown foal into the sky. The comment about not driving anyone crazy got a slight smile out of her. "No guarantees." She watched him fly off, wishing for the thousandth time that she had wings too. But she didn't, so she couldn't follow Ivory to wherever he was going. So she turned and headed home, where her adopted father would hopefully be waiting for her.
The conversation was short, but not unwelcome--especially from an adult. Maybe they'd meet again. She liked the thought of that.
