I don't know of a way to reverse a Silencing, Kallichore.

Damn.

Kallichore paused for a moment in memory of Alkaid. Even though they had met on the battlefield, she was once a senshi. Once. In a time before Kallichore's awakening. If she had awakened sooner then perhaps she and Alkaid could have been friends. Allies. A gloved hand touched her heart and the eternal closed her eyes. "Alkaid was probably far before my time. I never knew her as a senshi, only as a bloodthirsty corrupted super..."

Then Kurma's next statement brought about a sigh from the eternal. "Unfortunately, yes. I know many who have become lost." Too many. Entirely too many. "Ares, Leto, Requiem, countless others they've wrestled into their damned Dark Mirror Court. Ares is a princess now, by the way. She tore apart the Blood Moon Court in order to form her own twisted senshi. She nearly took me, Serpentarius, Albali, Sirius, Birhan Isat... but she keeps adding to her ranks every day."

Kallichore looked up at the sky. "...and I haven't been able to stop her."

Kallichore let out a sound crossed somewhere between a sigh and a hum. She was thinking. If Kurma was a guide to the universe then on the one hand, the eternal assumed he would know at least a little of what was going on here on Earth. On the other hand, if what was happening here didn't affect the universe, then perhaps it wasn't Kurma's place to know. Or it wasn't large enough in scope?

Either way her shoulders sank.

"I only wish I was strong enough to save them, Kurma. Europa wouldn't have lost her cousin, brothers and sisters wouldn't have lost their siblings. Parents wouldn't have lost their children and so on and so forth." She shook her head. That sort of power was well beyond the scope of most people, she believed. Certainly there had to be some sort of truth to the idea of purification but even the royals seemed as in the dark as everyone else.

She turned back to Kurma, brown eyes focusing on a particularly interesting spot on his chest. "The place called Ares doesn't exist here," she started, frowning. Kallichore didn't know much or any real specifics - just what she'd learned from Ares herself or from other members of the Blood Moon. "It exists in a world parallel to ours and Ares stepped through it, along with a few others. I know Nehelenia was the name of one and Zirconia was another but I don't know the others. Most died, leaving Ares alone and trapped here. She gave in to Chaos one night out of loneliness, I imagine, and became corrupted. She took so many with her: Leto, Europa's cousin, and Requiem too. She continues to take more and more."

The eternal growled and turned away, fighting back the tears and the tightening in her chest she despised so much. "I barely made it out. Sirius, Serpentarius, Albali... they made it out too but... we can't stop her. I can't stop her, Kurma... she's too strong." Crimson gloved hands balled into fists.

The eternal sighed into the open air with a heavy heart and a hopelessness she hated to its very core.

"Leto, Requiem, Lesath, Remarque and who knows who else. They hide in their damned mirrors. I've seen Ares twice since her corruption. She came to me and offered her guidance, she said. Offered to save me, she said. Then came the ambush where god knows how many more were killed or taken. But I was powerless to stop her both times, Kurma."

She almost ripped her own hair out in frustration. "Both times and how many more is she going to take until her black heart is satisfied? Can't anyone stop her...?"

Kallichore stood silent for a few moments trying to regain her composure. Freeze the water again into ice so things could be done. Crying wasn't going to solve their grand cosmic problem; weeping wasn't going to stop Ares and her damned Court. After a few moments of silence, the eternal turned back to Kurma, her shoulders just a tad lighter. "I try to save people by educating them. That seems to be what power I do have to change things."
