"I wouldn't lower myself to tabloid reading. But yes, I am aware of their return, after they died of course. How lucky for your lot and more importantly how lucky for them - they got to continue living." His own tone sneering and cold, a hint of that I'm better than you quality to it. "And you think we released a youma? On innocent civilians? The only one we had was the one we showed up with, it was our only means of getting there to help the people." Never mind they also had needed to see what the senshi were doing and put a stop to it, they couldn't loose their power because of the senshi and their knights.
"As for how many I killed." Shifting his weapon in his gloved hands, hands sliding over the shaft as the weapon was held with the spear end pointing at the other. "I took out two senshi before we were ejected from the battle field." That unsaid I'd have taken more if I could have left to hang in the air. Killing might have bothered him back then but in the heat of the moment it had come easily to him, it had just lingered in his mind afterwards.
As the knight's voice boomed and they came at him he found himself quite startled, that voice was nothing he'd expected. How was it that one could raise their voice in such manner? After the initial shock, which even had him flinching at the unexpected loud sound, he found his head snapping to the side as a fist connected with his cheek. It was by instinct, as he hadn't turned his head back round to face the knight, that he brought his weapon up to strike at whatever it may. At the same time he felt some new signature flare up - another knight. How...nice.

The hands holding hers were taken by Winterlynn's gloves ones, fingers lacing together. "What's happened?" Confusion and shock dripped from her words. She didn't understand but she had some feeling, and a thought in her mind, and it all was too much right now. She could feel something - something dark and strong and it unsettled her greatly.
She was one of these...terrorists that roamed the city, destroying things and ruining lives. That thought entered her mind like a freight train and the normally calm and composed Winterlynn shook as she gripped the other girls hands tighter. Holding their joined hands up, between their chests, as held them where she could see them.
"Stay..." She needed to understand this and she didn't feel safe with that darkness right here. For one who didn't trust people she knew that right now she needed to, she just hoped this didn't come round to bite her in the butt, that she didn't hear whispers of who frightened she had been; you never knew who to trust after all. And Winterlynn was sure this one, no matter how good she felt, would say something to someone - to everyone?

Sessrumnir might be much larger than the little General, but Benitoite was undoubtedly faster. A hiss of pain emitted as the squire tried to jump out of the way of the General’s swing of his weapon, but the tearing of fabric made it obvious that he’d made sufficient contact.
A flesh wound, surely, but unintended, nonetheless. Booming cracks of thunder emitted from where Sessrumnir landed in the alley, although he was momentarily distracted by the flare of another energy. A Page...? Had someone come to their aid, or...?
Without a doubt, the General felt it as well, but he wouldn’t allow him to harm any of the less experienced, and more innocent.
“You won’t be killing anyone tonight,” Sessrumnir’s voice rumbled as he regained his footing, taking hold of the stormglass once more. As long as he could keep his kid on his toes, they might all be able to escape.

Deep plum eyes stared imploringly at the young woman who had transformed before her, her ringed fingers squeezing the hands she held in what she hoped was a comforting manner.
Varuna would be lying if she tried to assure this woman that she knew what she was talking about, or that she knew what was going on. She was still new at this, still often scared, but so determined to make something out of this power that had been given to her that she found herself all dolled up, exploring the city... and not in the way she was used to.
“I...” she opened her mouth, wanting to reassure her, wanting to make promises that things will be okay... But she couldn’t do that. She didn’t know if things would be okay, and she wasn’t going to make her think everything was flowers and sunshine.
But her request had Varuna hesitating. She could hear the fight down the alley, and she was drawn in two different directions. On one hand, she knew she needed to help the man that had helped them... but on the other... There was something in this woman’s eyes... a barrier to block out all others — one she was very familiar with for she put up one around herself. Varuna could remember her first time awakening, of how scared she’d been, but how she soon realized there had to be more to it than just being afraid.
“Fight with me,” she said in response, holding the white gloved hands tightly in her own. Despite having nothing against being physically close to someone, trusting another wasn’t quite as easy.
“Help me...” Varuna asked, surprising herself as she did so. Why would someone want to help her? Someone who didn’t even know her and had no obligation to her? But the other knight had helped them, and she wouldn’t be able to live with herself if she ran away now.

Smirking in triumph the blond was happy to hear that telling hiss of pain. Turning his head toward the knight he'd lashed out at. He'd broken skin from the sound of it, even if it wasn't deeply, and hopefully drawn blood. Watching the brunette land the thunder surprised him, unexpected, this knight was a fighter unlike others he'd run in to. He could feel the smirk creeping up onto his features, twisting them.
"Really? You think I won't remove your starseed?" He questioned, purring his words as slate eyes gleamed. "That I won't take your life?" He added as he watched the knight.
Approaching the knight, slowly, the General closed the distance between them.

"Fight with you...." She wasn't a fighter, never had been, but she wasn't going to leave the presence of the blond haired woman. So rather than protest, or even say she wasn't a fighter, she nodded her head. She wasn't a fighter but she too had to help the one who was protecting her, that one who had grabbed her seemed powerful and quite dark. She worried for the one protecting her right now in that alley.
"I'll join you." But I won't fight. She thought to herself. She would help though, in some way, she owed him that much. Her hands held tightly by the other females she nodded her head. "Let's go."
And she turned toward the alleyway and drew the other with her rather quickly, wanting to get to helping as fast as possible. If she got this done quickly she could get home and hide from this all, she could be safe which right now she certainly wasn't. She knew this was dangerous and didn't like this one bit, but it was something she needed to do. So down the alley the drew the other with her. She could see the intimidating blond and the brunette and it seemed neither had the upper hand, at least not right now.
Now what did she do? She couldn't think of what to do with the item she held. But it seemed the female with her knew what to do and the male as well. There had to be something she could do.

Sessrumnir could feel the pain in his arm and the warmth of the blood that soaked into his tunic, but he didn't dare take his eyes off the General. He knew he was outmatched from the moment he approached the scene, but as long as he had been able to get the civilian girl to safety, he felt his job complete. He knew he could potentially be killed without any chance of escaping, but he wasn't going to give up without a fight.
He forced a smirk in return to Benitoite's, his jaw clenched tightly against the pain. "You can try all you want, but you won't be getting your dirty hands onto any starseed, or life tonight," his voice boomed, his hand gripping tightly to the chain of his stormglass.
As Benitoite approached, he swung the glass around him like a mace, albeit not as deadly. If he could keep the child Negaverse officer at bay long enough, he could figure out a way to get out of this.

Varuna nodded in understanding at the brunette's answer, keeping hold of her hand as she returned to the scene. They might not be as strong as a General, but they could certainly outnumber him, right? Glancing around, the senshi spotted an old trashcan lid, quickly scooping it up and pushed it into the young Page's hands. She needed to be protected, and if something happened, she could easily use the lid as a shield, or even a weapon. As long as it kept her from getting hurt.
Taking a step away from the woman, placing herself protectively in front of her, the senshi of Avalanches held up her hands, calling her attack for the third time. "Snow slip!" She wasn't about to give the General the opportunity to hurt anyone, if she could help it! But even as she stood her ground, watching the snow rush towards the younger man's feet, she could feel her own energy being depleted.
Having not been a senshi for very long, and not having the need to use her attack so much, Varuna was suddenly overcome with a sudden lightheadedness, as though she had been running for too long without any break. She stumbled backwards, hoping the two men would be too busy with her attack to notice that she'd worn herself down. The blond man just needed to go away!!

"If you keep telling yourself that you may get lucky - though I wouldn't count on it." The other might be cocky but so was the smaller blond. Ducking the storm glass, and tilting his head back at the same time, he hoped to avoid the glass mace of sorts. It certainly would be keeping him at bay, for now anyway, as he really didn't care for a trip to the hospital due to a concussion.
As he stood there, not about to try and approach the knight, not with that item still swinging, he glanced him over. It was while he looked him over he tilted his head. "Are you bleeding?" In the darkness he couldn't tell, he'd hoped he could, and wanted to know. A smirk in place as he waited to see if he'd get an answer.
Perhaps it was luck, at least for them, that his back was to the senshi and newly awakened knight. He missed the incoming attack, and as he was tilting his head back and ducking as he tried to move in on the more powerful knight, he was thrown off balance by the senshi's attack. As his feet went out from under him he landed hard, with something of a thus, an oof of surprise passing his lips, and a pain shot up from his tail bone. He'd landed wrong and it hurt, enough that he pulled a face and shifted to take the weight off the area.
It seemed an easy night was getting difficult and it wasn't done yet, as it seemed the female knight was entering the fray. It was as he was working on climbing to his feet that a trash can lid came sailing at his head. He'd only just seen it from the corner of his eye and was throwing himself, as soon as he caught the movement, to the side and hopefully out of the way. As it sailed right by, right where he'd been moments ago, he watched it hit into the ground. That really wouldn't have been nice.
"I see..." As he straightened himself he moved to position himself so all three were in front of him, or as close to it as they could be. A short, bitter, laugh escaped his lips. "Ganging up on me, how quaint. Unfortunately, for you anyway, I'm not much for playing with multiple people at once." A glance to the male knight and he let his lips twist into a mischievous smirk of sorts. "I will get you - another time - another night. I will have your life." And he would, at least as far as he planned. But right now he wasn't going to play this game, right now he wanted to lay down and press an ice pack somewhere as he was sure he was bruising from that landing.
With his slate eyes moving to the two females, than once more to the male, he bowed his head in a mocking gesture. "Before I leave I do believe I failed in introducing myself. I am General Benitoite. And with that...a good evening." And the General did something he hadn't done yet - he fled. He teleported himself from the alley and much closer to home so he could power down and walk himself home. He really didn't like fleeing but sometimes such had to be done.

Watching as the General left, vanished like he'd never been there, she felt herself slump against the wall nearest to her. Her light purple eyes on both the figures with her in the alley way. "What just happened...and why am I now a terrorist?" Or at least look like one. She didn't like this one bit and she needed to know just what had happened to her, never mind her words might be offensive. She didn't care quite frankly and was rather busy freaking out mentally, the emotions whirling round inside of her along with the questions was not a good combination.
And yet somehow despite that all the name - Benitoite - was repeated over and over again mentally as the name was committed to memory. She wouldn't ever forget that name, never. "And who are you both?" The trash can lid was gone over to, slowly, on shaky legs and bending she picked it up. Looking for a trashcan to place it on top of, rather than leaving it on the ground where someone might trip on it.

Yes, he was bleeding, but he wasn't about to let the Negaverse General know that. He'd had much worse injuries in the past several years of his life that this was nothing to worry him, but he didn't want to give this guy the chance to think he had the upperhand any more than he already did.
At least until the girls reappeared. Sessrumnir lept back in surprise as the snow swept around himself and Benitoite, the sound of thunder no longer emitting from what seemed his very body as he landed a few feet away, standing now between the General and the two young women. Leaving an opening for retreat was the best chance they might have, and sure enough, Benitoite thought better of taking on the three of them and took his leave.
Sessrumnir watched as the General disappeared into thin air, straining to feel any chaotic energy around them before turning on his heel to frown at the two foolish girls who had somehow convinced themselves to come back and save his life.
"We'll worry about introductions once we get to safety. I'll tell you what you want to know. Follow me, the both of you," he all but demanded, a sharp look in his eye revealing the seriousness of the situation.

"You're not!" Varuna said, the sound of her voice and her eyes pleading with this new Page to understand. "You're not..." She wasn't a terrorist. They weren't terrorists. They were there to help people. They were there to make a difference...
But she felt too worn down to say any more, doubting that anyone would want to hear the ravings of a senshi when they had already been painted in such a bad light, and before she had ever awoken into this mess. She looked up when Sessrunmir turned to them and told them to follow, thinking it would be easy to refuse and to remain separate from the others who were apparently so bad that they were labeled horrible names.
She wasn't a terrorist, but she didn't have the energy to deny it. Instead, she reached out to take hold of the other young woman's coat sleeve, gripping onto it tightly once the trashcan lid was put away. If she wanted answers... if they both wanted answers, she could only imagine it would be best to follow this man.

Those sharp eyes were ignored by Winterlynn, in favor of her turning her head from him, her pale lavender eyes falling onto the blond female. Right now she much preferred the female and her presence than the males, even though he had undoubtedly saved her. He was a bit too intense for her at the moment, when normally that might not have been such a bad thing. She wasn't normally one for loud, energetic, people but right now she couldn't handle anything but calm and peaceful people.
Sure that she couldn't back out of this, and she did need/want some answers, she nodded her head slowly to his words.
How could she not see them as terrorists, both sides? They all were destroying parts of the city and terrorizing the city and the people who lived here, she'd even felt it and heard and felt it in classmates. Looking to the female who held her coat she offered a wane smile. "It's not just me, or you, everyone." She whispered, wanting to assure the female she wasn't passing judgment on any one side. She didn't want to hurt the blond, she needed her right now. "Maybe with enough time and information..." Maybe it would change but maybe not. Finished now. ::Nods::
