"But the wagon would be awesome." God Jeremy, you were like Dakota's OTP or something. He could imagine them riding around with them, playing bumper wagons. GOD IT WAS SUCH A GOOD IDEA.
But he didn't think it would make through the portal either. he leaned over to Jeremy and grinned. "We'll come back to get them dude." He winked and then muffled his snicker at the sight of Otto.
too bad about the layers Molly but oh my god, it made Otto just look so wittle and adorable. And grumpy.
"Carriage rides maybe at the end? Or we can take one to the mall." Dakota brightened as a shop caught his eye. Taking Candace with him, he looked at the windows of Armani, carrying all styles of men clothing.
"Wow that outfit looks nice." Dakota looked over at Jeremy and molly and pointed at it. "I want to get shopping man, I think it's time!" He started to lead the group into shopping outlets, stores all abound.
"All right crew." Dakota grinned as he looked around the opening of the mall. "We gotta stick close, otherwise..." He held the bracelets up. "So Candace, you going to pick me a outfit that makes me look good?"

Dammit, Molly. Now he just looked stupid. Whatever. Shopping needed to happen, and Otto would take the opportunity to buy himself some damn hoodies. As well as babysit the damn Jerm. He instinctively held out a hand and dragged Jeremy into the mall with them by the hood of his shirt. "Don't forget the drums, dude. Before we leave I want those ******** drums." Why was Dakota looking at Armoni stuff? Posh a** b*****d.

Molly wasn’t so sure about two giant wagons making it through a portal. But she would never say no. This was fact. She turned towards Candace, only to get another peck on the lip, and another red face. “O-oh…um…” Flustered Molly was flustered. “Y..you’re welcome? Um…no…I haven’t! This is my first time…oh, no worries Miss Candace! I have another shirt underneath this one!” She tugged at the hem of her long sleeved shirt. “I’ll be okay, I promise!” Unfortunately, Molly lost her Jeremy-hand when Otto grabbed him by the hood and dragged him off. “H-hey, Otto!” She called, hopping a bit to follow after them. “You shouldn’t do that, sweetie, you might rip his hood off!” Jeremy’s clothes weren’t in good condition right now either. She perked up though as Dakota pointed out an Armani store, and was pleased as punch as they started heading into the shopping outlet. “Oh…that’s very classy!” She commented. “Don’t forget Jeremy, you need to get a lot of good clothes, okay? Underwear, socks…” She counted off on her fingers, and then gasped. “Dakota!” She cried, looking over at the Moon Hunter. “Do you have enough underwear and socks too?”

Had Jeremy heard his new nickname, he probably would have been quite happy - and then would have informed her that, quite like Katniss, he knew exactly what he was doing and what the stakes were. He was also doing it for someone he loved, someone that was his family. The only difference was he wasn't a master hunter in any sense of the word...nor did he have to kill his companions to make it out alive.
Plus, he didn't have a braid of dark hair, determined eyes, or boobs.
"...But why don't we get one now, so we can like, put our shopping stuff in it?!" Because if the others were anything like him with the whole buying a whole wardrobe thing, they'd need a giant a** wagon. Maybe with racing stripes too. Molly started to get flustered, and Jeremy made a point of staring at her. Yes Molly, he would be paying attention to you and your apologies.
"GACHK!" Jeremy choked when Otto grabbed his hood and dragged him off, half-gloved hands coming up to try and pry the fabric away from his neck enough to breathe. Once that was done he was content to let Otto do whatever he wanted, but of course he did have to at least try to keep up some of his own weight to prevent his only clothing from ripping any more than they already had.
"Okay Mols~" Jeremy informed her, raising one of his life-saving hands as if waiting to be called on in class, despite not having a question to answer let alone being in a class at this point in time. Then, as if belatedly on cue, there was a rather loud RIIIIIIIIIIIP, followed by a startled cry and the sound of approximately hundred-and-twenty pounds of flesh and fabric hitting the ground.
Jeremy's hood, as Molly predicted, ripped. It left Jeremy on the ground in a confused daze for a moment or two before he sprung back to his feet as if on a bouncy castle, laughing. "That wasn't as fun as it looked." He insisted through giggles and, quite forgetting that he and Otto were tethered together, ducked quickly into the nearest decent - and not completely expensive - clothing store.

"No wagon." Candace pat Dakota's arm. "I'm well practiced in the art of carrying a lot of shopping bags. Plus, look at all these lovely muscles you have in your arms. You should put them to good use." She gave his arm a squeeze and grinned up at the boy, hopping up to give him a kiss against his cheek. She was over the bracelet thing now that the shock had subsided. But a carriage ride? Her eyes widened. "If we have time later! I'd love that!" She dutifully followed alongside him as she was brought to a window display of an Armani shop, raising an eyebrow and looking Dakota's way. Oh? Little Dakota liked to dress fancy too? She'd only ever seen him dressed very...inspired by his heritage.
"Oh, Dakota darling, why ever would I want to part from you~." Candace pretended to swoon against the boy, even placing the back of her hand delicately against her forehead and closing her eyes. "Yer spell is just too strong, darlin'. Don't think I can handle it." She quickly regained her composure when she heard Molly scolding Otto again, watching her return to Mother Hen mode and grinning at the sight. It was true, some of them had to watch their streng--
Annnnnnd there went the hood.
Candace winced as she watched Jeremy slam to the ground, letting go of Dakota to check on the Sun trainee until Jeremy suddenly got back up on his feet. Well then. Katniss was also part rabbit? "How's your head?" But he ran off...oh dear. Poor, poor Otto. "It's like babysitting a caffeinated squirrel. I feel a little bad for Otto right now..at least I know my charge won't run away from me." She glanced back at Dakota and then looked around for where Jeremy had run off to. "We should go find him before he gets too far."

Dakota watched the scolding between Otto and Molly before her attentions turned to him...in which case he was quick to smile and give her a raised eyebrow. "Not only do I have underwear and socks-" He hurried over and leaned to whisper in her ear, "But you left yours at my room...."
NO SHAME DAKOTA WAS NO SHAME.
And it was all lost when Otto pulled on Jeremy's hood. Oh god, it wasn't going to end...
And then Otto was left with a reminder of a hood, and a lost charge. Good thing was the hunter wasn't ten feet away yet...yet.
"OTTO WE GOTTA RUN HIM DOWN BEFORE HE SETS YOUR ALARM OFF. TACKLE PROCEDURE A FORMATION C123 IS A GO." Whatever Dakota spouted was almost childish and ridiculous as he took off after Jeremy and dragging Otto along.
Contrary to Candace's hopes and faith, Dakota was right behind Jeremy and peering over the boys shoulders at some of the clothing. "Dude no that's ugly. No seriously dude. OTTO COME LOOK AT WHAT HE'S CHOOSING FOR HIS SWAG, We gotta refresh your style to our level Jeremy."
Again, not ten feet from the girls but getting close to it...right?

A significant lack of weight was being dragged after a loud ripping sound. Otto pulled the hood in front of him and found no Jeremy attached to it. No sooner did Jeremy flee did Dakota drag Otto toward where he'd run to. On the way Otto trashed the hood in a nearby trash can. The taller hunter seemed to be intent on nagging Jeremy on what to wear. Otto just wanted him in anything that didn't reek. The boy was grody and gross. Not someone to be seen with.
It was going to be a long day.
"Finally get leave, and I gotta spend it babysittin' a child.." Otto grumbled, looking around for something to buy. He may as well shop too, after all. All he ever bought were summer clothes, and well... missions tended to take him through less than favorable weather conditions.
Hoodies, longer sweat pants, and more hoodies. And hats, never not hats.

Molly blinked at Jeremy innocently. Why no, Jeremy, she wasn’t getting ready to start spouting off apologies…yet. Not yet. But also, she might as well be perma-red face this entire trip. Especially when Dakota whispered that she had forgotten some of her undies in his room. Forever red faced. Never not. “I…I’m sorry!” She squeaked, and then flinched as soon as she realized what she said. Hopefully Jeremy didn’t hear. She’d also have to go and try to get those undies back later… Then there was a rip and all the boys ran off, leaving her with Candace. Yay! Miss Candace was safe. Miss Candace was heavenly. Miss Candace wouldn’t make her face turn red from embarrassment. Molly reached out to hold onto the woman’s arm, looking rather dismayed that Otto had indeed ripped Jeremy’s hood though. “…Well…um….should we go with them?” She asked the woman with a tilt of her head.

The lack of ear-splitting alarms told him that he was safe to be where he was, but just to be safe he didn't move another step. This of course left him looking at some pretty questionable attire, which was unfortunate since that was when Dakota found him.
"I know it's---" He stopped, he stared, and then he went back to grinning like a maniac. "Then I leave my fashion in your capably awesome hands!" Both arms went in the air, miming throwing confetti to celebrate the situation. This meant he didn't have to choose clothes on his own, right?! Hopefully they'd listen to him if he didn't like something for some reason or another...but that was for immediate-future-Jeremy to deal with. This-second Jeremy was more than happy to not do work but get all the benefits.
Don't worry Otto, Jeremy showered today. It was just his clothes that had seen better days.
"Do you think they'd let me wear the clothes out of here? I can leave the tags on. They can scan them in with me wearing it, right?" The blonde was pretty desperate to get out of these told - and now torn on top of stained - clothes. When he saw Otto out of the corner of his eye the trainee grinned wider and made a point of taking a very long step forward, moving away from the ugly clothes and to the - to him - nicer, brighter clothing.
Like a bright green zombie hoodie.
"How about this, buddy?" Dakota was now trapped.

Dakota..why?! Candace's eyes widened as Dakota ran off without warning. Dakota..Dakota, no! He was yelling about alarms and now he was running off! She was about to run off after him when Molly got a hold of her arm and held her close, looking...very flustered. This wasn't entirely unusual for Molly but..
...
Why..
She held up her wrist, letting the sleeve of her sweater dress fall enough to show the bracelet on her wrist. "Yes, yes we should." Candace really didn't want this alarm going off. It was why she hurried after the runaway boys with Molly in tow.
Boys.

Dakota on the other hand was studying the hoodie with almost intense fashion. "Don't you think if you wore bright green Jeremy, you'd actually look like a dandelion flower or whatever? I mean check the poof on your head with the bright green coloring..." Dakota really studied it before pulling it out, "It's a nice hoodie though, pretty warm. I bet they'd let you walk out if you really wanted to...You're paying for it honestly." Dakota shrugged, looked around and jacked an empty cart like thing on wheels. Throwing the green hoodie in. It was like a small gift to the trainee from his new bro.
"You need some shirts too. Something not too bright." He pointed to the black tee's and some white ones. "You like hoodies right? What about sweaters? Like knit ones?" he pointed at that section too, "Winter, summer clothes. Jesus, Your going to need it all."
And then he found kicks, and nothing Dakota like more was some kicks, boots and hardcore boots for the weather.
"What size of pants, shirt and shoes do you wear Jeremy? Otto...dude Otto, Look at the pair of legs over there." And then Dakota was staring at a pretty little blonde and her friends across the way.
One track mind.

Jeremy and Dakota were discussing a silly looking hoodie, and Otto busied himself with his own purchases, slinging stuff over his arm that he liked. Trying it on was never something he did. Buy it a size larger than he was, and he was happy. More sweat pants in orange, black and teal. Check. More graphic tees. TONS. Check. Hot chics what. Otto's gaze zoned in on the gaggle of girls Dakota pointed out, and suddenly Otto wished he had refused Molly's sweater. He ducked bhind a display and continued shopping... with a red face.

Molly thought Candace was wearing a very nice bracelet. She totally missed that entire topic and exchange about probation and what not. Her name wasn’t attached to it, so thus Molly didn’t bother straining what little brain power she had to think about it. “R-right!” She agreed though, holding onto Candace’s arm still and following her into the store. Looking around…well, you think it wouldn’t be hard to spot Dakota, since he was so tall! Or Jeremy’s poofy dandelion head for that matter…she did catch her green sweater ducking behind another exhibit though…so there went Otto! Cockblocking Otto from some girlies +1. Giving Otto her sweater was the best idea ever. Amen. Molly finally spotted Dakota…but then got side tracked when on a wrack next to her was a green sweater. A very nice green sweater. Oooh. Molly let go of Candace’s arm and reached out to touch it. So soft…

Jeremy gave Dakota's little warning quite a great deal of thought. His arms folded behind his head, he leaned slightly to one side, and he stared at the ceiling. Did he want to look like a dandelion? Hmm. On one hand, he didn't want to look like anything but Jeremy, but on the other...well, he cast a glance towards Molly as she and Candace made their way into the store.
"I'm okay with it." He decided, grinning that goofy grin of his. "I mean dandelions are pretty resilient yeah? You pull it out and it grows right back!" Fitting, considering he had been podded for so long. He pondered over his size and informed Dakota thusly (mosty because her player was much too lazy to look it up past 'small or medium' because Jeremy is a twig okay), but also found himself distracted by tossing in various clothing and whatnot that he'd need into the cart, adopting it from Dakota.
Though the Hunter hadn't been talking to him, he still turned and looked at the pretty blonde and her friend, admiring her legs as they were pointed out. Yes, they were certainly lovely. He stared a bit longer, a distant smile on his lips, and then he shook his head and went back to the clothes, piling on some more shirts, hoodies, jeans, hats, jackets, shoes, underwear...everything.
"What do you think I should wear off out of here?" There was so much clothing to choose from! WHAT TO WEAR FIRST?!

Candace was on a lookout for the boys as well, though being taller probably gave her a better vantage point to find them at. She heard them before she saw them. The pair of legs? She instinctively looked in the direction the voice had come from, arching a brow and watching Dakota watch a gaggle of girls while Otto hid with his sweater dress. The girls were cute, but they were just girls..she felt she was much more attractive than them.
The eyes of little boys stray from your bosom and you get jealous~? Candace scowled.
I'm not jealous, I'm disappointed.
You're jealous.
I'm. Not. Jealous.
I hear purple and green can look good together if done correctly.
"Shut up!" Candace hissed under her breath, shaking her head and watching Molly flit off to look at a sweater. Her smile returned. So adorable. She'd let Molly look around, the girl had no bracelet so she'd be fine. She wandered over to the boys just as Katniss asked what he should wear. Oh right...Otto also needed something other than a sweater that was basically a dress on him. Candace looked around, spotting an red hoodie with a warm, fluffy interior lining and plucking it off the rack. "Here, this should keep you warm." She pat his head and grinned before she continued on to stop beside Jeremy and check out what the boys had picked out for him.
"I suggest something warm and comfortable to walk out wearing. We're going to be here awhile so go for comfort over trying to impress anyone around you." Candace suggested quietly with a smile, trying not to get Dakota's attention as she walked up behind him. Her fingers slowly walked up his spine as she put her head on the boy's shoulder, a pout on her lips. "You ran away from your chaperon." She tilted her head to one side and rest it against Dakota's, watching the girls as well. "See something you like? I don't think I can get you a girl for Christmas, dear." Candace then moved away from Dakota to look at Jeremy's pile again. "..Can he even afford all that?" Did Hunters get paid for the time they were podded after already being awakened once?
