Once she had started crying, it was so hard to stop, but Pippin's comforting words and his soft paw against her cheek certainly did help to keep it at a tolerable level. She gave a hiccup, trying to overcome her frustration and self-pity to take in his words, and she knew he was being genuine, but it still hurt to think of how easily she had just left herself go. But, Pippin was right.

She was better than that! She didn't have to fight this war their way... perhaps the White Moon Court's way wasn't exactly to her liking, but it had to have been the better way. There were no monsters or youma in the White Moon, only the Negaverse, and that had to have meant that they were above all of that. They didn't need to resort to such violence, and Tsui felt that she understood that much.

Finally, her tears had come to a halt, thanks to Pippin's efforts, and she rubbed the rest away from her eyes and cheeks, before looking down at the guardian cat. She didn't even think about what he was implying, but she was determined to simply listen to him, like she should have done from the very beginning. She had noticed his star was glowing, and she gave him her pen without hesitation. Pippin, despite all appearances, was far wiser and knowledgable, and Tsui felt like a fool for not respecting that earlier. But it was not too late to change that!

"Thank you, Pippin... I promise, I'm going to be better than this. This... won't happen again. Ever... I promise!" Tsui said, giving the guardian cat her pen. She didn't feel as if she was ready, but she trusted Pippin, more than ever.

Tsui never had the fortune of watching another Senshi gain their upgrade, as even her first upgrade was a mystery to her (she never saw the cat that upgraded her pen, as her mind was more or less focused on surviving the ordeal), so Tsui attention was set completely on Pippin. She had been eager to get her Eternal rank, but she didn't think she deserved it, not after her recent action. Yet, who was she to question Pippin's judgment? If that other cat and him felt that she was ready, then Tsui would simply have to trust their word. It was easier to seek forgiveness than to ask permission, wasn't it?

The Senshi of Tigers saw this as a chance to redeem herself, and perhaps the Court she had aligned herself to. She had made some mistakes, but it wasn't too late to correct them or seek to do better, and if someone as stubborn as herself could learn this lesson, then surely members of her own Court and even those on the other side could be convinced?

She accepted the pen, trying not to let her excitement get the better of her though it was always hard to hide such raw emotion, even on a normal day. Now, with her defenses stripped down and her tender, mewling kitten side exposed, it was near impossible to hide her tears, but she was determined to keep the waterworks to a minimum, as she accepted the pen with one hand and rubbed away the tears with the other. She obliged to his request, hoping that by the time she shouted the words, there'd be no hint of sorrow or weakness in her voice. After all, she was the Senshi of Tigers... and tigers were anything but weak.

"Tsui Star Power... Make-UP!"



When the light had cleared and the tiger's roar had stopped ringing in her ears, Tsui looked down at herself, and it was impossible to hide her glee, as it did a perfect job in drying her tears. She had not expected this kind of an upgrade, and the first thing she looked for were the iconic wings on her rear, not at all disappointed that she couldn't give them a flap or that they would not help her fly in the least. She was never one for appearance, but even someone like Tsui could admire the beauty in them, and she looked to other parts of her new attire. More fur than ever, which was a blessing given the cold weather Destiny City was cursed with during the summer, but all of it was negated by the fact that now there was a breeze on her stomach. A glance down confirmed a rather confirming midrift, though hardly sexual, but more, a clear example of the harsh ways of the Negaverse, as well as what awaited those foolhardy enough to challenge them without a plan, as now her scars were plain to see. Yet, Tsui felt little shame in showing them- if anything, she was proud to bare them for all to see, as a visual example would help enforce her words...

Tsui had fully intended to use herself as an example to others, but that was a thought for another day. She had plans now that she was Eternal, and even if all she could do was teach others in her Court how to defend themselves from an enemy that could never be reasoned with or defeated, then she'd accept the responsibility with gusto. For now, she was tired, and she felt that she owed Pippin something special. She knelt down and opened her arms to him, and her smile was never bigger than it was now. "Thank you, Pippin... now, what flavor cupcakes do you want? I think you deserve a cupcake cake... all to yourself!"

She had a lot of amending to do, and for now, it would be best to start small. One day, she'd track down Carnelian and try to correct the wrong she had done to the Corrupt Senshi... but for now, the tiger was in the mood to make a ton of cupcakes for the Guardian cat.
