With a last crack and a shove from Gale's shoulder he felt the door give way. He staggered in abruptly, grunting in surprise, and nearly fell over, the unbalanced weight of his rifle dragging him forward several steps.
"Bloody hell - "
The light from outside was hardly bright, and not much different inside. He squinted a little, trying to discern some sort of recognizable features, any sign of who exactly was inside this ramshackle shack. And then -
"Kat! Ryan!"
Horror mixed with astonishment thrummed through him, Gale staggering the rest of the way into the shack, falling to his knees in front of the two. The last place he had seen these two had been after their meeting with Caelius, after they had gotten in trouble, which meant -
<< ...oh, dear. >>
Gale leaned forward, his good hand gripping at the chains binding them, tugging with all of his might.
"Come on," he said through gritted teeth. "Come on, we're getting out of here, I got you - "

Ceres, not being much help now, just waved her arms in the distance trying to gather their attention, once she realized exactly who they found.  "RYAN KAT GALE BE CAREFUL" She glanced at wilson too. "YOU TOO WILSON." She was much muse use besides that. Maybe she could use her long a** scarf as a sort of lasso. Hm.

He heard Ceres call out his name. "Ceres? Yeah, I will!" he answered back. But it was Gale's voice calling out familiar names that caught Wilson's attention the most. "Ryan? Kat?" His steps become more frantic as he tried to follow their voices before he ran over and scooped both hunters into his arms. He had no words.

Lifting her head slightly, she could hear someone, or something trying to break into their little shack they were kept in. Not knowing if it was horsemen or hunter, or anything else, she tensed. If it was the horsemen coming back, it was probably to finish them off. If it was the hunters.. she had no idea. As far as the hunters knew, they died back in the Sahara.
When the doors fell in, Kat winced from the sudden burst of cold air. Seriously, where were they? This couldn't the desert! It was freezing.
"Kat! Ryan!"
Her head snapped up--which to her dismay, made her headache worse--finding that it was not only a hunter that stood before them, but Gale on top of that. "G-Gale..?" What was he doing here? This couldn't be chance, surely? Or was it?
With Gale's aid, she managed to stand, a little, taking a step before grabbing at the wall for support. Even Wilson and Ceres were here! What was going on? "W-what are you g-guys doing here?" Bloody hell it was freezing. She felt as though she were going to go numb.

[[ I'm late, don't judge me. ]]
And suddenly Eva was very, very glad that she had chosen to follow the Death hunters as opposed to the other group. The fact that this place was rigged with traps wasn't as big of a concern to her--after all, this wouldn't be the first time she played golemless minesweeper--but the fact that she could see a few distinct figures in the distance was a concern. There was Ceres--who she hadn't seen since the last mission--Wilson, Gale, and...
Christ, was this where the pair had ended up? They weren't dressed nearly as warm enough as they should have been for the weather--they would freeze if they didn't get some cover in time.
After a moment of hesitation, the young woman eyed the land and took a few wary steps forward. At the very least, she could give the pair her scarf and coat, but she had to get close enough first.

The clawing on the wood outside sent a chill up his spine. What it if the horsemen had come back? What was going to happen if--
And then with a loud crash and a cold gust of wind, one of the last people he ever expected to see came tumbling into the shack.
"Gale!?" How--when did-- "W-what are you doing here?" He stammered out, too stunned to say anything else as the death hunter tugged at their bindings.
What was going on? He doubted the hunters came here looking for them because Gale looked just as surprised to see them. Furthermore after hearing Ceres calling after more than one name, Ryan could tell that there was more than just one person and that even Wilson was here. So better question. Why were there hunters here?
"H-how did you guys even get here? Why are you..." He paused, shivering from another gust of cold wind. "Why are you guys here?" Not that he didn't appreciate seeing them. On the contrary he was really glad to see them. But if hunters were here then that meant the situation here was probably pretty poor. Not that it would matter. If he and Kat didn't get out of this cold soon, pretty soon they would have nothing left to worry about. Fortunately, after some assistance with getting to his feet, he was able to walk a small distance without falling on his face.

Eva moved slowly, partly because she was wary about falling into one of the traps, and partly it was harder to move when she was bundled up as she was. The last thing she needed was to become a liability and have to be saved instead of helping those who needed the assistance right now.
As it was, she nearly stepped into a pit, but managed to catch herself at the last second.
Phew.

As luck would have it, Eva found the ground suddenly collapse beneath her weight as she stepped down on a covered pit. She yelped as she went down, but managed to catch the edge before she could plummet to the bottom of the hole. With some wincing and grumbling, she scrambled her way back up, collapsing on her hands and knees to regain her breath.
...That was more impressive than I thought it'd be.
"Thanks, I think," She grinned, before pushing herself back up to her feet.

Jake might of gotten a little lost on the way, but, well, he finally got here. Where HERE was, he had no idea. One thing was for sure though. This was NOT the battlefield.
Just where did that runt go?
Clearly peeved he was missing out on the action, he hadn't noticed the snow patch in front of him had a sharp piece of debris sticking out, until he tripped over it, cursing as it cut into his pantleg.
Great. Just great.

Was that grumbling that she heard behind her? Perking up, Eva turned to glance over her shoulder, her brows disappearing behind her bangs as she realized just who it was. "Kitten?" Or rather, Jake, but close enough, right?
"Be careful, okay?" She shot the trainee a worried look before continuing on, dodging over traps and weaving around pits.

Grumbling, Jake pushed himself up and shivered.
So. Freaking. Cold.
He pulled out the hand torch, using it to illuminate his path, and possibly keep himself somewhat warm. He really was an idiot for not dressing more warmly, but it wasn't like he had any other clothes besides the one he wore.
"Hey, runt! Where are you?"
Too preoccupied with looking around, he hadn't notice his foot sink into the snow, setting off another trap, and he hissed as a spear shot up and grazed his arm.

Time was precious, and they did not have a lot of it.
"Listen," Gale said urgently. "I'm sorry to break up the reunion so quickly, but we've gotta get out of here, and I'm not leaving without any of you."
He leaned over and slipped an arm around Kat's waist, hauling her upwards with a grunt. It was not easy; he only had one good arm, after all, and the strain of trying to keep Kat upright and keep the rifle strap and sling strap from strangling him was a feat in and of itself. But all Gale did was grit his teeth, shove the gun aside, and keep moving.
"Let's go," he said, and motioned with his head for Ryan to follow. Outside the shack, he could hear Ceres' voice yelling at them, urging them on. "Come on, we gotta get of here; you lot look like hell, and I have a feeling it won't be safe for much longer."
"And Kat, here, take my scarf - you look like you're freezing."

Even Eva and--didn't she shoot that guy before--that new hunter was here as well. This was.. confusing. She was grateful to see them here, yet somehow.. felt as though something was going to go wrong. Where was the horsemen? The last thing she remembered, was Medea and that cruel smile, followed by her words--words that escaped her right now. "Huh..?" No time for explanations, huh? Well, that was just fine with her. She not be sorry to leave this place.
Trying not to lean too much on Gale, she nodded and gratefully took the scarf. "Thank you." The damned horsemen.. had them change into these robes, and not even give them shoes.. she should have just stayed in her original clothing. Dammit.
"I can't feel my legs.."

What Eva never told anyone was that he had ninja blood flowing through her veins.
Or maybe she just had a good eye. In either case, she somehow managed to make it across to where the others were. Gale and Wilson received a small--but clearly worried--smile, and while the former went to help Kat, Eva moved over to where Ryan was. Pulling off her scarf, she stopped him for a second so that she could briskly wrap it around his neck, trying to ensure that it would protect him from the cold.
She reached out then to take his good arm, trying to support him as best as she could. "Hang in there, okay? We're here."
