Akairo opened his eyes slowly, a little worried about the heavy feeling in his chest until he realized that he wasn’t so much seriously injured as he simply had a rather large lioness resting on him. He couldn’t really tell her to move. That would the same as implying that she was heavy right to her face which would probably earn him a good slap. He’d rather not ask her if she was okay when she was definitely not weak in any way and he’d prefer not to imply that either. Honestly, what did you tell a female who was... on top… of… you…?
“Heeey.” He drawled the word, his expression turning to one of pure mischief. So eloquent. Maybe he was going to earn himself a slap still.

Calypso wasn't sure on what to do. Akairo didn't seem to be moving, so maybe he hadn't noticed yet? Hopefully. She shifted, trying to slip her paws onto the ground to lift herself up. One forepaw managed to right itself before she stilled, and turned towards him.
And then she slapped him.
She hadn't meant to, and really it was more of a cuff, she wanted to believe. Regardless, her paw made contact with the side of his head as she rolled her eyes. "You are such a dork."

“Ouch!” Akairo chuckled, wincing at the well-deserved cuff. He grinned when she called him a dork which he supposed was a fairly accurate assessment – at least when she was around. But it was a boy’s right to be a little silly in the presence of a girl, right? Especially one he… uh-hum.
“We should do this more often.” The Scout said as he wiggled out from under the lioness. He chuckled again, taking one step back to what he considered to be a safe distance. “Maybe with a slightly different ending… maybe.”
Still grinning, the red lion looked up to see just how far they’d come down.
“Maybe we should go back.”

Calypso got to her paws and stretched out her muscles. She leveled her gaze to his, giving her best contemplative look before smiling. "We really should. I had a lot of fun today... ending included." Was she blushing? Her cheeks certainly felt warm enough! She shuffled her paws, trying to maintain her easy posture, and failing hard core.
The orange huntress nodded, a grin spread out over her maw, "Race you back."

Painted Moose Fin? =D Sorry I took so long, RL has been brutal these past two weeks.I have some time today because I'm at work, lol. “Yeah. It was fun.” Akairo grinned and purred quietly under his breath, his tail dancing behind his back.
“You’re on.” He said with a hint of challenge, sprinting past Calypso with a wicked chuckle. “Catch me if you can!” he goaded her between laughs, hoping his little head start would further spur the lioness in her efforts to catch up to him.

Mogami Fin sounds fine to me. C: And no prob on lateness! RL's been pretty hectic on my end as well. xD Calypso let out a shocked roar that ended on a flurry of laughter. "Cheater!" She took off after him, gaining enough speed to close in on him, but never enough to pass.
Not that she really wanted to. Spending this time with him, running around like cubs, made her as if the Pridelands itself were alive in this one lion. He was the sun and stars, compassion and strength bundled in one package, and she hoped that one day she would get the chance to tell him so.
