PERSONALITY
General: The best word that would be used to describe Eva when someone new just meets her would have to be shy. When first meeting people she doesn't speak all that often, some people even believe her to be mute, and when she does speak it isn't all that loud. This trait has made her a good listener and observer. However this is only when she first meets someone or is uncomfortable. Once she knows you, or feels comfortable around said person, things change dramatically. As a friend Eva is full of energy, the first to think of a crazy plan to fix their boredom or think of a story to have everyone laughing. She is a loyal friend to those that have the privilege of her calling them her friend. If she is comfortable she can sometimes be more outgoing around people she doesn't know, but that all depends on what vibe she gets off people. If she feels like they are good she will be more willing to be nice and friendly, but if she feels they are bad she will be more shut off.
By nature she is curious. Eva was always the child that hid in the closet so that she could listen to all the adults conversations. Some people would call that nosey, but to her it is just called curiosity. She likes to know how things, and people, work. One thing that she hates is when people keep secrets from me. She's good at finding things out to, when she wants to find something out she will stop at nothing to find it out. That's where her small skills with being manipulative come in. No one ever suspects and most people are willing to give her the information she is looking for, or at least some of it. This goes with knowledge as well as finding out about people.
HISTORY
General History: Eva lived a pretty good life. Her parents had met in Hogwarts and although her father pursued her mother while in school it wasn't until a few years after they graduated that she finally agreed to go on a date with him. It wasn't too long until they were living together and talking about starting a family. They had Eva and two years later got married, Ellen coming soon after. Their life seemed perfect, Deatrah was a stay at home mother while her father worked long hours with magical creatures. On the weekends and whenever he could he spent time with his family, taking them on trips and teaching the girls all about the creatures he worked with.
At eight years old her favorite uncle passed away right before her eyes, even the magical community couldn't save him. It was a horrible experience, but nothing like what she would later see. It wasn't a full year after when her own father passed away, devastating her whole family. It took a while but they grew closer and pulled through together. The two deaths in her family brought them closer then ever, especially Eva with her cousin Anthony's wife and two daughters.

Relationship with Family: Eva was a huge daddies girl growing up, and although she was close with her mother and younger sister it was clear to everyone that her father was her favorite. After his death she has grown even closer to her younger sister and mother, trying to be the rock holding their family together. She has also grown closer to her cousin Anthony and his family since he knows what it is like to lose a father.

MISCELLANEOUS
The Sorting: Coming into Hogwarts Eva wasn't sure what house she would go to. Although she wanted to be sorted into Gryffindor like her father and favorite cousin, she didn't think that the house fitted her. Waiting to be called she looked at all the new faces, wondering which would be her housemates. As soon her name was called she walked gracefully to where the sorting hat was, head held high. When placed on her head it began to speak at once. "My condolences dear, but you are right you do not belong in your fathers house... Hum... Yes I see the characteristics of a Ravenclaw maybe?" Eva smiled, her cousin-in-law was a Ravenclaw and spoke very highly of the house. "No, although you would do well enough there it is not the home for you... And dear we don't even need to consider Hufflepuff for you, your not afraid to get your hands dirty in ways Helga would not approve of. It is now clear..." and with that it shouted Slytherin. Eva walked to the table and took her spot, learning all the faces around her. She couldn't wait to write and tell her mother.
Boggart: Eva's boggart is her little sister's body on the floor, her bleeding to death and asking Eva why she didn't save it. When casting the charm to change her boggart it changes to Ellen perfectly healthy and making a crown of daises.
Mirror of Erised: If Eva were to look in the Mirror of Erised she would see her father standing behind her with his hand on her shoulder. He would be telling her how proud of her he was. All she wants is to make him proud in whatever she does.
EXTRA CREDIT
Patronus: A male lion is Eva's Patronus. This is an unlikely patronus for a Slytherin but it is one she would be proud of. Her father's name was Leonardo and he always told her that he would protect her, so to Eva her patronus is her fathers way of always being there to protect her.
Greatest Treasure: Eva has a ring that her father made her before passing. He made it years before but was given to her mother the day she left for Hogwarts, as he intended it to be given. It is a plain silver band but on the inside it says "Long live Princess Evangline", something he use to tell her often since she called him King Leonardo.
Manner of Dress: Eva was raised to dress nice, so she does so. She is up to date on what is in and what is out and never dressed out of season. She hates wrinkles and won't be caught dead in messy clothing.
Favorite Class: Transfiguration and Care of Magical Creatures are things that Eva is very interested in and good at. She has been reading about magical creatures her whole life and has a bit of an obsession with them. She also seems to have natural talent in transfiguration.
Worst Class: Muggle Studies and Herbology are two classes that seem to bore her. She is absolutely horrible at Herbology and has to be tutored to even pass.
Habits: Eva taps her fingers on just about anything, as well as playing with her hair and biting the tops of writing utensils when nervous.
Hobbies: Eva likes to write fictional stories, she hopes to one day publish some of them. She also loves to sing and actually has a pretty nice voice. She can always be found with a notebook on her.
