The attack made Eva cringe, but she moved to back away before it could do much harm. However, in her haste to distance herself from Tori's weapon, she somehow managed to stumble over her own feet. As a result, the young woman went crashing onto the ground, falling ungracefully onto her bottom.
Ow.
...Eva.

Tori felt you pain about falling Eva, as there were times Tori would trip on the chain of her weapon, so she feel for you falling to the ground. To which Tori did let Eva get back to her feet before attacking again. Since this was a friendly fight and Tori wasn't one to take advantage of someone falling down as it just wasn't right. Once Eva got back onto her feet did Tori try too attack again to only then proceed to trip on that stupid chain when she tried to charge at Eva, right into the ground with Aklin laughing at his hunters expense. "Ah--you okay?" Eva's eyes widened in surprise as she got up, only for Tori to fall down a minute later. Returning the favour, she stood there patiently and waited for the other girl to get up before making a move, offering her a small smile when she did so.
"Haha, okay, no more falling for either of us!" She chuckled, propping her free hand up on her hip, "Now...ready?" Eva gave Tori another moment to collect and ready herself before she lunged forward, swing her weapon around and aiming right for the center of the other girl's shield.

Tori had started to chew herself out for yet again tripping on her own chain, oh well such is life, she told herself. Quickly getting back onto her feet. "Yep I'm alright, I tend to do that not as much any more tho," Tori answered as she gave Eva a little smile. "That sounds good by me at least there aren't others around to see us fall. "Totally ready now," she answered as she shifted and tightened her grip on her chain as not to trip any more. Oh my was that a strong attack, Tori thought as that attack had taken her breath away and for the fact she knew her shield was getting a lot weaker too. Taking a few seconds to gather her breath as Tori and thought to try her chain again, but once more she totally missed hitting Eva by a long shot. Hp: 14 Damage: Miss Charge: 1/3 ( Battle Cry y3/ Tainted Fang Y2)

"I still fall a lot," Eva admitted sheepishly, chuckling, "But hey--I won't tell anyone else about our falling if you don't?" A friendly wink, and then back to focusing on the battle. She stumbled out of the way when Tori sent out an attack, managing to avoid the weapon before turning to give the girl an approving smile and thumbs up. "Close one!"
She took the chance immediately after Tori's attack to slip forward and thrust her staff out at the other girl's shield again, this time using the blunt end of her weapon. When she felt the hit connect, she instinctively tried to duck backwards and out of range of a counter-attack.

"Nope I won't tell no one about any type of falling at all," Tori replied as it was embarrassing enough to do it in practice were only a few people knew than in the battle field where everyone saw it. "Practice does make perfect," she added and Tori felt that she was a long way from being perfect at all she thought as she smiled back at Eva. "Yep," still smiling as Eva gave her the thumps up as Tori was liking Eva more and maybe sometime they should just talk. Tori hadn't been all the way ready when Eva attacked since the attack was not what she was expecting, none the less it still hurt and more so that her shield was low. Aklin was warning her to be careful, but Tori put it aside as she readied for another attack. As she charged at Eva and took a downward slash at Eva when she had gotten close. Hp: 6 Damage: 5 Charge: 2/3 ( Battle Cry y3/ Tainted Fang Y2) Kaiyumi Sorry for this being so late, but I had some burn out. But I'm good now. <3

"Phew," Eva pretended to wipe the sweat off of her brow in relief when Tori said she wouldn't tell anyone about the falling, "Don't want my non-existent reputation here to be tarnished, you know?" Another friendly, playful wink, and then her focus went back to the battle at hand...but not fast enough.
The slash caught her right in the shield, earning a surprised noise from the girl. However, considering their close proximity at that moment, Eva figured it would be the perfect--if not slightly risky--time for a counterattack. She took a step back only to give herself more room, and then brought Chara down in one fell sweep.
When she felt her opponent's FEAR shield shatter beneath the blade of her weapon, she immediately drew it back, careful not to actually harm Tori now that her shield was no longer protecting her. Letting out a breath, Eva grinned brightly at the other girl. "What do you say we call it quits for the day? I'm exhausted!"

“That is so very true,” Tori answered to Eva’s non-existint reputation as she also had no reputation to speak of but smiled bigger at Eva’s playful wink. Tori was sort of ready for that attack even knowing that her shield was low and should have forfeited but didn’t, one didn’t get stronger if not pushed harder. But with Eva’s attack Tori felt her shield go and to see her also to withdraw as that was really nice of Eva since Tori thought it could have been worse. “I think that is a wonderful idea!” Tori said as she was breathing hard as she unsummoned her weapon. Looking herself over and seeing that there wasn’t too much damage just a few cuts that would heal quickly. “Congrats on your win, how about we go to get something to drink sound to you, my treat?” Kaiyumi Sorry I took so long but thank you for rping with me as I would really like more rp with you.

Grinning when the other girl agreed, Eva brightened at the offer, cheerfully moving to link her arm with Tori's. "Sounds like fun!
